Infowars host and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones stands trial yet again in civil court in a defamation case brought by families of the Sandy Hook mass shooting victims. This time, the trial is in Connecticut and is expected to last four weeks. The plaintiffs are eight families and an FBI agent. Jones already lost the case by default. If he wants to say something, his lawyer is capable of putting it across. So are the Sandy Hook children's families. They are also sitting silently and when they testify, they only answer the questions asked and don't argue with Jones's lawyer. It's a court not Jones's liar workshop. I hope this makes it clear.

This is a civil case: there is no prosecutor, and there is no guilt or innocence - there is only libel (at fault) or not libel (not at fault). There is a plaintiff (person bringing the lawsuit) and a defendant (the person being sued). Please watching so much “Law & Order” 😆 - it does not apply to a civil case.

This is literally senseless. I'm watching this wondering just what the POINT of this Lawyers direct questioning is.
He's asking things that lead to a road that's going nowhere or substantiating nothing concrete for a Jury.
I thought the same thing, but someone pointed out that it's establishing a pattern. And showing that he has no remorse and will not change his ways. A continued pattern of hate and maliciousness is being showed to the jury even to the very day. This is to sway their opinion and show the defendant is not able to change or basically see right from wrong.

Unfortunately, in this universe, judges will go out of their way to destroy someone for disrespecting them (or even just because they don't like one of the parties involved). This is the first time I've chimed in on this. I live in CT and know a parent who lost her child in this tragedy. I had a man attack me on fb telling me the shooting was a conspiracy and it never happened. He said it was staged by the gov't. He was so ignorant it infuriated me. I'm SOOOO HAPPY Alex is being brought to justice. Innocent children were gunned down and that is what we all need to remember. The victims families are left to pick up the pieces of their life and try to find a new normal. Enough is enough. Let those families be.
