Tbh, I am very happy that Carl Pei succeeded in creating a new global smartphone brand from scratch. It's quite successful now. And next models will bang it.
I think the most important thing is seening the company doing updates even If they aren't big. I like Carl Pei marketing style i m not sure on buying more then a 6 inch phone anymore or 6.36 like Xiaomi 13 at max because i like compact phones.
Great video I'm here in the USA (Utah) I purchased the beta nothing Phone I they were offering and I must say I love it great service and strong signal. T-Mobile sim gets 5g but my Verizon sim only gets 4g but signal and connection is good with both. For 299.00 it's definitely a steal and I highly recommend this phone to someone who wants a flagship like experience for a very reasonable price. The only weak point of the phone is the Video. Cameras are passable.
I’m going to pick one of these up I think. I have an iPhone 14 Pro at the moment, but I feel the Android itch again. I just miss it so much. I might use it as a back up phone, and to support the company.
You missed the most important one, at least for me. The only one I actually care about. The one I've been hoping to come but gave up expecting after I asked them for that feature via email and I got a reply that it's never coming. I'm talking about the quick switch between SIMs for Cellular Data, which is standard in most other Android phones but was weirdly absent in Nothing Phone until this update. It was prominently written in the update prompt. The implementation isn't so good as it needs an additional tap, but still better than having to search through your Settings every now and then just to switch data SIM.
The new photo picker seems to be gone on pixel (at least on my pixel 6a). I tried it with keep notes, twitter, google messages. But it still opens the old design photo picker. idk if I did something wrong.
The weather app addition was a big plus for me, BUT it doesn't seem to update the widget until I click on it. It continues to show whatever the weather was last time I looked until opened 🤷🏻♂️
i thinking about to buy a nothing phone in the future. now i use a oneplus 8 pro that will turn 2 years in september but i started to get bored of the ui but i can live with it but i want a clean ui and oxygen os 13 is not giving that. if the nothing phone 2 is great i will buy it in 2024 in september at a reduced price because its rumored to be released in 2023.
i hope 2.0 updates will worthit.. should add smart screen auto refresh rate ..when i select 60hz. it sucks.. slow.. i hope it will fix,, the game mode should have a application,, games is not optimized.. i hope it 2.0 os is a good ypdate
@@snke_yt In-ear detection is so bad you have to turn it off to avoid random playback stopping. Sometimes the right earbud will connect to your device, but not the other and vice-versa. Sometimes one earbud disconnects for no reason. If you put the headphones in the charging case sometimes one or both won't charge. That's just some of the problems I had with ear(1) headphones. I love the Nothing design style but won't buy any of their products again.
@@fabrislemos unfortunately some of these hardware bugs are presents on others brands, i read that on some telegram groups. The first one is because the headphones hasn't a proximity sensor. I hope in a substancial new update, i love this headphones! They're the most comfortable i have ever had with Airpods Pro
Time will tell how this is gonna go but I think nothing is looking good so far. I do wish the nothing phone 1 better is better. Even after the update I think the battery is still lacking

I think there should be lockscreen customization
New widgets
Color pallete theming for icons and ui

The best looking phone with the best looking OS! Great video!
Seems like you haven't used OneUI?
@@sameerkharade7750 I have and it’s awesome, but I still think the stock Android actually looks better aesthetically
I wish I could afford to get my hands on one. I really think they look amazing
Live captions for calls would be nice, it can help if someone is speaking too fast on online meetings
Where can I get that wallpaper from.

Yeah happens with me too, also to note one more thing that it feels laggy when a RUclips video is being played
Love this os update. Thanks for this video explainer.

If it's as buggy as their headphones, it's a hard pass for me
Which bug do you talk about?

They're not even bad. I like them.

wait... there's a pixel 7a?!
Some of these are stock A13 features. Not sure why you are pointing them out as features of nothing os 😅
Offended? Good
now mobile network consumes 14% battery
the only thing keeping me from getting a nothing phone is that font.
Hate that dot font anybody else agree?
I guess it's just the two of you
HAHAHHAHA YOUR Photo ON TWITTER FIREND HAHAHH
My opinion on Nothing os update is nothing/10
Great God, a remarkable rating. 🤯
Your opinion means absolutely nothing and being you posted it in these comments sections makes it worth absolutely nothing on top of nothing
Ur rating means nothing 😂
Your mommy taught you that?
Me using NASA's computers to find who asked your opinion😂
Its NOT notiing OS it is reskined Android.
Hello
Instead of showering useless number of models, nothing is working on software 🥰
