Hey there Mr. Stress Prof. I have found something that helps me with my sound, video, photo editing. It's a new thing I been using called a "vertical mousepad". It achieves what those vert mice do but you can use any mouse you want. It's got trade-offs but overall I like it because I need to keep my one hand on the mouse and the other on the keyboard entering shortcuts anyway. Good luck! Be well. Orb control makes one called Mouseramp.
Hmmmm... Looks like a great way to wear out your thumb. We already use them so much with texting and such. I think it's wiser to rely on the shoulder girdle muscles to move the mouse
@@stressorprofessor I have been using this ergo trackball now for years, I am over 40 and have 28 years of experience of mouse use. Up to now the trackball hasn't worn out my thumb. btw I am not talking about kensington those trackball are horrible non ergonomic.
@@saab_9 Right on. I appreciate the perspective. I've been a Massage Therapist for 15 yrs, a rock climber for 10yre, and guitar for 20yrs. My thumbs are always in danger of burnout. So the trackball would be a bad idea for me, but i can see how it would take burden off of you :)
@@stressorprofessor I can vouch for Stressor's caution. I had a logitech trackball mouse and got carpal tunnel form it. It was very painful but once I figure out it was the mouse, I I switched up devices and it went away. Just a heads up so people are aware and if they start to have discomfort change hand position.
I can only speak to the Mx, but upon a quick look, the lift looks great... a bit smaller and AA powered. Maybe try buying both and returning the one you don't prefer?
@@stressorprofessor I didn't know that there were different sizes. I know that there is a Mx Vertical and the Lift. The lift being the smaller option. Similar but a different mouse. I would like to see the different sizes for the MX Vertical if you know where I can get those.
@@daynerhoades Ohhhh ok. I didn't realize the smaller one had a different name unto itself. I just saw that there was a smaller option. Ok. Thank you for clarifying that. I double checked. You are correct. Try bringing your hand back a bit, to where your palm doesn't touch the mouse. If I let my palm touch, then my pinky slides. But it's also not the most comfortable. When my hand is positioned just right, I can slide an index finger in between my thumb webbing and the mouse
Wow such a refreshing in YouTubing style. Thanks for uploading and keep up the good work.
Thank you Alex :)

Do you recommend the lift or the virtical mx? By logi
