    In case anyone is trying to install these on the new CX-50 Hybrid 2025, the fuse I found that worked is F28 (For protection of various circuits).

    I did try this today. I had a real hard time getting that fuse cable into the F18 spot because the big fuse for the power steering system is next to it. The lights also were on when the car was on and when headlights were off they were still on for me which was not what I wanted as an end result. I was hoping these would come on at night when my auto headlights and other amber lights come on. I appreciate the video even though these didn't work out for me!

      @OverlandMazda  4 месяца назад +1

      @@Trapan93 hmmm that is odd… these should only be on when the vehicle is on! I haven’t figured out how to get them to turn on only at night… however, it could be different for you if you have a 2024 or newer! Mine is a ‘23 model! Thanks for checking out the video!

    • @Trapan93
      @Trapan93 4 месяца назад

      @@OverlandMazda mine is a 23 but I have my settings in the car to turn off my headlights when it's daytime outside. I don't have or want any daytime running lights on. When it gets dark, my headlights turn on along with all the amber lights which is what I was hoping these would mimic. Since I have the grey color and a blacked out front grill I was looking for a more "stealth" look during the day where no lights are on if that makes sense lol but it's all good!

      @@Trapan9318 fuse powers all the stuff inside the car. Acc, cig lighter etc. The wiring in these cars kinda sucks and makes it hard to add stuff. I want to add a secondary fuse block from the battery. Figuring that out now. I cant get the add a fuse to fit correctly either with the P/S relay next to it. Damn. You can install add a fuse incorrectly, they are designed to go 1 way if you do it backwards you can fry circuits from too much load.

    • @thesuppishone

      @@OverlandMazdaThey ARE on when the vehicle is on. But I share the other commenter’s frustration with the fact that you can’t seem to tie them into any of the headlamp fuses (F20,21,24,25) or else they’ll be constantly on. You’d think that tapping into THOSE fuses would allow the Raptor lights to follow the headlamps, but they don’t. F18 seems to be the best option, but then the Raptor lights are tied to accessory power instead of headlamp power.

    Hey man appreciate the tutorial and used this to supplement my install with a version of the raptor lights that do fit our grille. I’m curious if you have any challenges getting at add a fuse plugged into the f18 fuse slot? That larger relay that’s right next to it seems to cause it to bend and pop out so on my end.
