I used to work on those cars back in the mid 80s, by putting that Duramax 440 in you did what British Leyland couldn’t do…. ,you actually made the car reliable ,Lol ,Great video Chris.
I'm going to be polite but why do these guys RUIN an MGB. I've owned 4 & put well over 135,000 miles on all of them with NO major problems. They never left me stranded anywhere.
Putting a go kart engine in a Daewoo Tico and a off road suspension …….u could make millions selling it to the world,try entering a Dakar like competition…….
Why use that ghastly motor? For less money you could get a watercooled motorcycle motor with triple the HP and it would also be quiet and work vastly better--a Honda CX500 or 650 engine would do just great.
Great job buddy! I saw a tractor when I was a kid that had I think a 5 hp.BRIGGS mounted on it.That image had escaped my memory until I saw some of your videos.I enjoy every minute of it!.

Those low open tops are so fun. You feel like your flying but it’s really going 18mph.😮😂
What it actually needs is a 3.4 60 degree V6 with a T5. (Camaro). Fits right in, light weight, has plenty of HP Many Brit cars have had the swap.
You could bypass the governor and get a few more mph out of it 😊
