As a primarily woodland player based in Ohio, magnifiers give me a 1-up on the regular red dot users. I keep both eyes open and can shoot with my off side. magnifiers, especially when keeping both eyes open allow you to really hone in on enemy positions. plus, you can see exactly where the bb is going and how far off you potentially are. I usually don't run a magnifier for indoor play, though I do find myself missing it. I have a 1.5x magnifier that screws onto my red dot for indoor play. Also, that MCS or MCX is sic.
The fact you teach is very present in this video. I do enjoy Maydaysan 先生 talk about airsoft more Iike this. Everyone could use a handsome teacher explaining the wonders of plastic warfare.
just wanted to tell ya, been a fan for a long time (even before the polls because i actually just like airsoft lol) this is my favorite kinda content from you, personally any sort of "how well does this work/is this really useful/does this have any advantage" stuff, i think it's the most interesting stuff you put out, personally whether it be how well a playstyle works, a certain gun, an attachment, always really interesting to hear about what it's like for you!
My field is outdoors and is essentially just the woods so I was thinking about getting a holo + magnifier or one of those retro m16A1 scopes but I'll probably just get a magnifier instead since it seems like it has better functionality instead of being a larp lmao
I love magnifiers. Rather have a tool used for binoculars at the ready and to increase accuracy than have seperate. Indoors? No. Outdoors? Assuming the field is big enough and you have the right mindset when airsofting, (and buy rather cheap yet effective scopes), theyll only enhance your gameplay! As someone who loves wodland airsoft and a good mix of medium range and close range battling, a low magnifying scope is extremely helpful.
as for the holo sight replica eotech. Im not sure where u got yours but i got mine off ali. does your eotech have a slight tint to it. For me that slight tint made it hard to see where my bbs were going thru the optic. However when i tried a simple red dot that you can find anywhere it had no tint. So seeing bbs where so nice thru the optic. lmk cause i wanna use my holo lol
@@MaydaysanAirsoft i’d love to get a real one however i’d most likely put it on my real steel lol. but thanks glad i’m not the only one experiencing it. this is my second eotech replica and prob my last.
2:26 is exactly why i don't play pub airsoft games here... just get tapped by a dude holding an angle across the field all game because he knows the cheese spots to pick you through cover... not what airsoft is for me :/ I find games back home in the UK to be a good mix of strategic play with aggressive pushes, and not too much spam or camping me and the boys rent out a field and host private games with 10禁 airsoft and nerf guns instead haha
inside i woudnt use it but outside YES i got bad sights and i use lpvo or magnifyer or certain guns to be able to guard at certain modes, bad eyes and bad sights over 10 meters i struggle but when i run and gun as u call it and ive seen the gameplay u refer to i still got the x3 on the side and i just flip it
The fact of not zeroed sight because of gbbr blowback is just a myth.. it was prooved by polenar tactical on real steel weapons.. the red dot is the zero and magnifier is just for that extra zoom.. i dont see a problem using a replica on any airsoft gun including gbbrs Anyways interesting video :))
I just came across your channel is the second time I’ve heard you bash on America did you have a bad experience playing out here did you get bonus balled
i never played in america. Also this was like a year ago i dont even remember what i said lol. I think the jist is, Japanese airsoft is the original way to play the game. One life game modes and limited ranges change type os engagements and playstyles. American airsoft is very different and spammy from what i've seen.

Honestly i want a magnifier because i just think they are so cool and beacuse i have always seen pictures of police officers or soldiers using it ( i want to use it on a g36c like i've seen in a picture of a British police officer using it) (the LARP is immaculate)
Do you enjoy them enough to justify the purchase in your brain, maybe cause they do functionally help you or because you like the god damn taktikoolness? if the answer is yes, then they're worth it, enough said

fov and eye relief on the repro magnifiers is horrible, I have owned two vortex ones and even they weren't great..
Yup. Not worth
