I work in a nursing home/rehab center and the people who walk like that have had strokes and/or clearly have some level of dementia or other types of mental decline. That is not just a man walking. That is a man who has to TRY to walk.

He was well enough for the democratic primary in California for me to vote for him, 6 months later he had deteriorated far enough that I couldn't in good conscience vote for him so I didn't. He has now deteriorated so much that he needs to be in a senior care facility.

My grandfather is 85. He takes care of my 82 year old grandmother who has dementia. He drives his boat and fishes, is an active member of his retirement community, and keeps a daily journal with immaculate handwriting.
My other grandmother also has dementia. The similarities are nearly indistinguishable, and those who have been around it… KNOW!

The issue is not age, but age related mental decline. What age a person declines depends on the person, but the point is that the issue here is related to Biden's drop due to his personal age limitations.

I'm amazed this is a story since I was under the impression that the "hidin' Biden" during the 2020 primary came from his reticence to talk to the press: especially Press friendly to his campaign. Someone needs to say the obvious that somehow a couple of non-starters, Biden and Harris, somehow beat a popular candidate, Sanders.
Dementia and Sundowner's Syndrome . . . They go hand-in-hand. I lived through this with my grandmother who had dementia after 4 pm it was downhill. Give Joe a year or two and he will show paranoia about people plotting against him . . . even his family members who he may or may not recognize as being in his family. Sad trajectory but it is predictable. We can't accept this for anyone being considered for the office of the US president.
