So glad we could have a conversation where we point out and demonstrate that Lav cannot stick to or stand by a single belief for more than a few seconds. She cannot string together an argument or defend any of her points with coherency. We see time after time that she strongly states an initial position and then falls back to a dozen other points after basically single statements of scrutiny from Destiny. Lav belongs on Destiny's leaderboard for massive smugness / intelligence ratio.
"Lav cannot stick to or stand by a single belief for more than a few seconds" facts. She said Amouranth shouldn't be sexualizing herself for money and that women have an imperative not to because it hurts women. Then literally the next topic they went to she was justifying how it's okay for her to sexualize herself and sell nudes for money because she just really wanted more money. Her husband making over 500k a year just isn't enough and she couldn't possibly be expected to do something other than sell nudes or make less than 150k a year on top of what her husband makes.
I think destiny described it very accurately she seems to have a habit of not going deep with her thoughts/reasons about her beliefs, and instead just splits off to other reasons. So everytime destiny or anyone confronts her about a particular thing, she seems to just jump on to different reasons.

I think the thing about Lav is that she's really sincere, she's just also an idiot. She's completely inconsistent on everything, but that is *because* she's so sincere - she really just feels very strongly about things in the moment and says what she's feeling, and isn't thinking about her past thoughts enough to try and match them together. She doesn't even -realise- how inconsistent she is.

In this YT video, we can see two Destinys - one is peaceful and feels good, and the other is annoyed, angry, and frustrated. But how can I tell which one is which? Simple, the video game he chooses to play. Factorio (?) is a pretty chill game and when Steven plays it you can see how he feels - he's having a good time. But when he plays games like Doom Eternal (which doesn't happen often) you know something is wrong. Steven becomes resentful and hateful (for a good reason). It was pretty unexpected too. I was blown away when he switched games mid-debate. I know people like to praise August for his editing but Destiny doing "live editing" kind of thing while he's also talking to other people at the same time is incredible and unheard of. The guy's even more brilliant than I thought he was. I can't believe he's just a streamer.

I think what Lav meant was that feeling powerful is different than being empowered. Like a drunk person may feel powerful, but empowerment is having the mental discipline over alcohol not to get addicted or abuse it, such that you can lead a healthy life with it.

As frustrating as Lav was at times in this conversation, Chaeiry was an absolute cancer to any dialog.
@Almighty Kevin Chaeiry definitely didn’t destroy her. Lav’s thoughts were mostly dog shit, but Chaeiry was unable to hold her to anything. She set her up to get destroyed over and over again but could never follow through. She kept jumping topics all over the place without ever making any actual points. She kept edging everyone so hard without any release.
Ironic that Lav jokes about how watching Chaeiry's stream is self harm when listening to Lav speak is legitimate self harm.
