    As an apartment manager of over 100 homes, I would absolutely never attempt to clean this. It would be replaced because I'd be afraid the pad and possibly subfloors would be soaked, and shampooing would bring the smells back up. I can understand the bank wanting to save money, and I'm sure the new owners will likely replace the carpet. But you did an INCREDIBLE job. Looks great!

    • @blackdiamondcleaningservices
      @blackdiamondcleaningservices  Год назад +14

      You're not wrong, but chemistry plays a big part in it. If they have moisture barrier padding underneath the carpet and no stains against the baseboard areas, there is a higher chance it can be salvaged if the carpet isn't worn out. This job, however. That is what I explained. Replace it, but it doesn't make since to when selling the house.

      @@blackdiamondcleaningservices totally, there is zero scenario buying brand new carpet will increase the selling price beyond what the carpet cost to install. This is just to get the house good enough to show. 90% chance the next folks will put in LVP anyways, 10% chance they will want a different carpet. I don't know why the algorithm is sending me carpet cleaning videos, but nice job!

    • @Vjl5280
      @Vjl5280 5 месяцев назад +1

      I would never do this job. So, you’re cleaning it for cosmetic purposes?

    • @blackdiamondcleaningservices
      @blackdiamondcleaningservices  5 месяцев назад +3

      @Vjl5280 Yes, this house became bank owned, and we suggested replacement. These situations happen a lot, which means you'd be turning down a lot of work. You have to make it clear that it's not going to fix the problem and document that and have them sign off on it. If it's something so bad that it'll cause issues with our equipment. Then I'd walk away from it. Any job that you see a video for on here that was the number one suggestion before we took the work. Replace it instead of cleaning it. Being bank owned, they didn't want to put any additional money into it. That's why they stuck with just cleaning it for appearance.

    This I find to be the most useful way to run a carpet cleaning business. This is due to that this shows how to get rid of the dirt not only from the vacuum cleaner, but also from the CRB and what gets sucked out through the extractor. Dumping the dirty water onto the grass is good since it sinks into the ground and the fine particles in the water becomes compost.

    Hi, i dont suppose you could give a link to the pretreat spray products you used to get rid of the cat urine? I have heavy build up of cat urine in my carpet which i dont want to replace as its less than a year old and ive tried an assortment of sprays and pre treatment but cant get rid of urine smell! Any advice on where to get ur spray pre treatment would be greatly appreciated 👍

      Hi there. The product we use to treat the urine requires extraction. Do you have a truckmount machine?

      @Funkie_Monkey Год назад

      @@blackdiamondcleaningservices sadly I don't. I only have a carpet cleaner and a wet and dry vax

      @@blackdiamondcleaningservices I was wondering if it's possible to use a pre treatment to get rid of the cat urine smell and use my wet and dry to extract then go over with carpet cleaner afterwards? 🤔 I've already got all the urine stains out the carpet I just need a way to get rid of the urine smell which still lingers 😢😔

      I don't know the exact numbers. It was a lot of carpet, but if I had to guess, it was around $850-900.

    Does the carpet get clean under the corner safety guards? Oops just saw you remove one. So yes it does. The carpets look 'WAAAAY' better!

    Why do you have screaming jets on your wand? Just wondering

    • @blackdiamondcleaningservices
      @blackdiamondcleaningservices  Год назад

      These are normal jets for this type of wand. It may be different if you're listening to a wand with only two or one jet. There's different flow rates for jets. This means how much liquid can come out at once. The most common are 4 flow and 8 flow. This wand has 8 flow, so it allows twice as much as a wand with only 4 flow. Which may be a part of the reason it sounds louder. Hope this helps.

      Currently, it's the Shark Stratos, but they came out with a new one that's apparently stronger, so that's on our radar for next time.

    Is that Wand the Max Flow by Wanders or TMF 2" Swivel? Just trying to figure which one is a better wand. Thank you!

      I haven't use the max flow so I won't say, but I will see I have owned 3 plus tmf wands and all have been great. Use this link to buy one and you should get a little discount if you've never ordered from them. shop.truckmountforums.com/ac

      No. Not always. Depends upon if it's a urine job or just soiled and how bad either one is will determine how I mix it.

      Unchained for all the pet stains. Biopro10k and pure o2 after a fair amount of dwell time. Rinsed with an acid rinse.

      It changes depending upon the needs of the carpet. Generally by the sqft, but to give an average price range. Our normal cleaning method would be around $85 per 130-150 sqft. Pet treatments are additional.
