I love her story. I am non-binary and only publicly came out at age 51. The reason for me was, I was tired of cosplaying this fake person rather than being my authentic self. It was exhausting and prevented me from forming a real relationship.
I am learning. It's not easy accept yourself when others don't think what you are is real. Letting go of the negative people and finding that new community is difficult. I feel in the end though, I have myself back, and that means more then any social network.
