I disagree on the Paris one because you can treat the railings as hurdles making Paris track COMPLETELY RUNNABLE! And for the pinball one there is a track bridge over the gap. So that is completely runnable too. The only way that I would accept the iunrunnable status is that the first part is changed to un runnable
Being completely fair to Snow Lake, if the track is all iced over and people are expecting you to run a race through it, I'd presume that the organizer would supply ice grips for your shoes. That would make it technically runnable but a stupid idea to enter the race. It completely falls under "Just because you can doesn't mean you should"
Running with ice grips is a lot of fun, as you get more friction than you normally get. They're like an IRL power up. I love jogging on the lake when it freezes over, and jogging trough Snow Land with ice grips sounds like a fun time!
Kalimari Desert in MK actually changes between the laps like the city tracks. One of the 3 laps has you going through the train tracks, so I would say only partially runnable for that track. Edit: Peach Gardens also changes between laps, though I don't believe the rating would change.
@@rosynosyposy Agreed, I'd say it's possible (though scary). Same as timing the chain chomps in the hedge maze pretty much, just wait for the hazard to pass.

@@LCDRformat Nah, we just used to it. Our snowplows salt the roads, which lowers the freezing point/raises the melting point, but that only helps to a point. It's just a matter of balance, care, and experience.
As a minnesotan also I would say that's unrunnable yall crazy. Youre used to the salted roads and the cold temps, not solid ice. For our southern friends: The salt does provide good grip. Doesn't melt completely just melts the ice enough where the salt is, like the individual salt sprinkles. Really it just provides much needed grip where ice is by having partially melted speckles. Guess I've never had to explain road salt before 😅 forgive me for the terrible explanation. Doesn't melt the ice completely!! I think thatd be impossible, if it did it would become a puddle that can freeze over again. Minnesotans don't come at me get over it

Excellent video! I agree with you on everything, including Snow Land. It's dangerous just walking on ice, let alone running/jogging. Can't wait for part 2!
Peach's Garden and Kalamari Desert actually do change up in second and/or third lap. For Peach's Garden, lap 3 takes on a flying ramp through the garden. For Kalamari Desert, it seems to encourage you to take the train tunnel, though I am not sure this is forced. The train tunnel, while dangerous, is technically runnable if you hug the wall. So while that doesn't change the outcome, I think it would have been funny to hear your reactions and input on these changes.
@goombanna The effort you put in is appreciated, and your work is better because of it! But don't feel you need to overwork yourself for a few extra laps. I am sure part 2 will be good regardless.
Pfft alright so I had to stop and skip back to rewatch the Toad Circuit bit multiple times because the giant toad's *WOH* made me laugh so hard I couldn't hear anything after that. Cool to see more of this fun little thought exercise, I hope you're having some fun making it!
8:30 i’d say the pinball tunnel is definitely runnable bc the map shows it as solid, instead of the empty gaps most other flying sections like that have
4:09 - Hey, there's my comment! Glad to be featured in a Goombanna video! And don't worry, I'm already subscribed, otherwise how would I have found this video within the first few minutes (even though a lot of the comments on my view read several hours ago they were left; probably a bug on RUclips's part of the video was released early) and have left that comment?
Thanks! Not tiring per say, but I do get nervous both that I might be repeating observations too much (or that I don't have enough to say about a track,) and of course I just have a baseline anxiety over potential argumentative comments I might get to whatever I'm saying 😅 Just normal youtuber things! 😛 But I try to think of people who might get a chuckle out of my jokes, like you, and that puts a pep in my step! :)
So, funny story: I made my own list of this after the first video including all remaining tracks (so far we've only disagreed on 3) and I came to a pretty definitive conclusion for most of them, but a few did give me a hard time and leave me feeling uncertain, the prime example being Snow Land. It has this one jump about halfway through that I could not for the life of me make up my mind on; it's hard to tell if the jump could be made by a human, the ground below is extremely close and hard to tell whether or not it should count, it's hard to tell if one could climb back up to the other side, and there are these blocks to the left you could easily walk across but technically don't count as part of the track. There are numerous reasons why it could be deemed either runnable or not, but I ended up settling on it being runnable. After that never-ending struggle, I was so looking forward to seeing Anna reach that point and what conclusion she'd ultimately come to... only for her not to end up making it there at all due to the floor being slippery. Yeah, not quite the answer I was hoping for, but it makes sense I guess. 😂
It’s nice to see this series grow from a good pace to a full on run! Looking forward to the conclusion. I’d like to stroll through New York Minute, it looks beautifully bright being at night. I’d avoid Snow Land. Running on ice? I’d rather keep all my teeth thank you very much lol. And I didn’t even know Coconut Mall had a food court there! Though their counter is too tall for humans
As someone who grew up in Canada, Snow Land is completely "runnable", there were usually 1 or two days a year when the walk down the street looked like that and all you have to do is not lift your feet and turn it into more of a skating motion. So unless we want to be sticklers for what exactly constitutes running it's doable.
Hey there bud. What's with the all caps? If you wanna say something about Kalimari Desert that's cool, but as mentioned in previous videos the attitude isn't necessary.
5:58 No, I think those mushrooms could bounce you considering bouncy mushroom platforms have appeared in mario platformers before in which mario is running through the levels and still bounces on the mushroom platforms, however I feel like the bouncing could damage or even break your legs considering how high they send you onto the brick road
"This course is an icy course" took me right back to Bible Camp. And wow if it's not extremely obvious when a fellow Bible-Camper is remembering their formative/traumatizing experience that made them an atheist (or at least definitely not as hardcore as the camp wanted them to be) today.
idk why I love watching these. When you run out of MK8 tracks, I hope for more videos about living/engaging with in-game worlds and levels like the Wii Sports Resort video

Palutena: Shaymin Sky, she isn’t the goddess of sky but she lives in skyworld, and she would love something cute

Shulk: Silvally, an adaptable form changing, artificially created creature with ties to god

Plenty of these I'm not so sure on, so I'd be open to hear replies, but some I'm also very firm on
Paris Promenade is runnable, there's three ledges under that ramp!
If that Australian accent was painful for you to do, just imagine how painful it was for us Aussies to hear it!
The car slowly encroaching is peak. 5:35
The incredulous reaction to Peaches garden being filled with chain chomps
Fun fact, the giant golden turd in the Tokyo level is the Asahi beer hall. It's "supposed" to look like foam.
The More You Know 🌠
5:35 Goombanna. The car is coming.
Oh my god she has headphones on! ANNA CAN'T HEAR US!
Excellent video! I agree with you on everything, including Snow Land. It's dangerous just walking on ice, let alone running/jogging. Can't wait for part 2!
Throw on some skates and turn it into a great speed skating track
Safety first :)
Stay safe if you're here too right now, hopefully they get things under control before the winds pick up again...
Yeah, I thought I could get away with only doing one lap for the non-tour courses, but it looks like it's all 3 laps for all courses in part 2! 😅🥵
@goombanna The effort you put in is appreciated, and your work is better because of it! But don't feel you need to overwork yourself for a few extra laps. I am sure part 2 will be good regardless.
I liked the accents and foreign language pronunciations, those were very fun Goombanna, can't wait for Part 2! :D
Pfft alright so I had to stop and skip back to rewatch the Toad Circuit bit multiple times because the giant toad's *WOH* made me laugh so hard I couldn't hear anything after that. Cool to see more of this fun little thought exercise, I hope you're having some fun making it!
Came to see the tracks, stayed for your rivalry with flying creatures
I'd say Kalimari Desert is only partially runnable. Second lap has a massive drop off the ramp.
10:05 LMAO why is this killing me
Your foreign language accents and diction are impeccable! Good work
I did my best 🙏🙏
I was waiting for this!
Good to add a partially runable category!
“This course is an icy course…” is exactly my niche of humor 😂
Our favorite, I wanna risk my life doing jogging is back !
9:04 the Waluigi disrespect, even changing the name of his pinball machine.
Uhh, Calamari Desert has different laps as well?!?! One of them you go ON THE TRAIN TRACK 8:21 look at the green arrows
I’m in Camp Partial AND already subscribed! Definitely glad I did!
8:30 i’d say the pinball tunnel is definitely runnable bc the map shows it as solid, instead of the empty gaps most other flying sections like that have
LOT more courses than expected tbh! And... of these... I'll vibe at the start of Maple Treeway, and do not wanna walk around in the Pinball machine.
I wasn't expecting the 🎵This course, is an icy course🎵 ad lib, but I appreciate it.
9:57 there are spiked cleats specifically for running in icy conditions
4:09 - Hey, there's my comment! Glad to be featured in a Goombanna video! And don't worry, I'm already subscribed, otherwise how would I have found this video within the first few minutes (even though a lot of the comments on my view read several hours ago they were left; probably a bug on RUclips's part of the video was released early) and have left that comment?
Not a bug mate, Patreon patrons and paid RUclips channel members get access to the videos early whenever possible.
You never fail to get a chuckle out of me! Does it ever get tiring to keep making up those ideas and observations? Cause it certainly would for me...
12:25 All gardens having living things
but do any of them have giant mf chain chomps in them?
I think any S.N.E.S. track would be fun to run. Peach's Garden would go from lovely to terrifying in an instant.
As a runner myself, Mushroom Gorge would be a fun course to run
Merry Mountain would be a brutal but fun race
goombanna: peach gardens is runnable
lap 3: I'm about to finish this girl's whole career
5:40 There was a good joke opportunity about that car hitting you
She also made that joke
@ do you think you could jog my memory?
@@meta527iireviews6 You linked to the timestamp of the joke. Not all jokes need to be explicitly called out, and they usually shouldn't be.
@@Mikemk_ oh. I didn’t know that WAS the joke.
@@meta527iireviews6 you underestimated Anna 🤭
I laughed a lot with that car approaching while you were finish speaking and how it cuts before it hit xD
Have a happy new year Goombanna
It’s nice to see this series grow from a good pace to a full on run! Looking forward to the conclusion. I’d like to stroll through New York Minute, it looks beautifully bright being at night. I’d avoid Snow Land. Running on ice? I’d rather keep all my teeth thank you very much lol. And I didn’t even know Coconut Mall had a food court there! Though their counter is too tall for humans
Just gotta device right technique for running on ice. Coming from a proud Minnesotan
We can go enjoy hot cocoa inside where it's warm instead 😁 (And good point about the food court counter! I'll have to lodge a complaint 💪😤👍
10:15 ANNA YOURE UNHINGED I LOVE YOU
10:05 Okay that got a huge laugh out of me
That icy course song gave me religious flash backs
Hope you're okay mate 😅
Kalimari desert changes across the 3 laps!!! also great video 10/10
We absolutely are being sticklers for what constitutes running.
Throw on some skates and it could be a great speed skating track
5:36 - 5:41 Okay, that was unintentionally hilarious 😂
intentionally*
As a german I can say that your german sounds actually pretty clean👌
Yeah, double check Kalimari Desert again… the ENTIRE 3 LAPS!!
Hey there bud. What's with the all caps? If you wanna say something about Kalimari Desert that's cool, but as mentioned in previous videos the attitude isn't necessary.
Some lessons in New York-ese:
"Ay! I'm runnin' 'ere!"
"Whatsamattafoyou?!"
"Badda bing, badda boom!"
out of all the courses that pass Peach's Garden is the one that, while *technically* runable, I wouldn't dare try.
We are so small and everything in that mall is so biiiig what
Frankly, Tim Curry is the only acceptable silly voice for a London based course 😂😂😂
We can have a little rizz, as a treat 😏
PART 1!!!!! BEST WORDS EVER
yippeeee!! ive been waiting for this one
Lol you just sent me back to high school with that French "super cool!"
5:41
Goomba look out! Noooooo!!!
Kalimari Desert feels like it falls under that third category specifically because this version has the lap where you go onto the tracks
As a german I have to say your pronunciation was pretty good!!
From a native speaker, you have a great French accent! Btw the French equivalent for truck is « course » 😂
Oh my gosh, I think you’re being FAR too generous 🙈 But thank you 😅🙏
goombanna should try running away from the cops
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!
10:04
Okay, you win. You've got yourself a sub xDDD
Kalamari desert and Peach’s Garden chang on later laps
But could you skate Snowland?
"This course is an icy course" took me right back to Bible Camp. And wow if it's not extremely obvious when a fellow Bible-Camper is remembering their formative/traumatizing experience that made them an atheist (or at least definitely not as hardcore as the camp wanted them to be) today.
Hope you're okay mate 😅
Haha I obtained it purely via osmosis, but even though I'm not religious, I will admit when a bop is a bop!
calamari desert also has 3 tracks for each round, and 1 of them goes straight over the track
idk why I love watching these. When you run out of MK8 tracks, I hope for more videos about living/engaging with in-game worlds and levels like the Wii Sports Resort video
Got lots of good things on the horizon :)
Are paratroopas just the mario world's equivalent to pigeons why are they everywhere
