There's a real easy one for Pokemon. in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire; During the climax of the Delta Episode quest, you fly into space riding Rayquaza to destroy a meteor heading towards the planet and eventually fight Deoxys. So that checks off everyone except Incineroar.
And thats assuming you don't count the end, which you could argue was something like an asteroid belt. I mean floating rocks with a black background? How is that not space?
A few notes: - Pyra and Mythra _have_ been to space, as the climax of _Xenoblade 2_ takes place on a Low Earth Orbit Space Station. EDIT: Since Shulk can eventually be acquired as a Blade after beating a DLC Challenge, he can also be brought to that Space Station as well, and if Link and Villager in _Mario Kart_ count for them, then Shulk counts as well (pointed out by @fearlessleader889 in this thread - thank you for reminding me). - For _Mega Man,_ I'd say that _Mega Man: Star Force_ doesn't count since the version of Mega Man in _Smash_ is decidedly the robot DLN-001: Rock, where as _Star Force_ Mega Man is a human kid fused with an alien. That said, for a good Classic _Mega Man_ example, Galaxy Man's stage in _Mega Man 9_ takes place on a Space Station. - For the _Pokémon_ series, while I'd be hesitant to say that travelling through _interdimensional_ space is the same as outer space, which to me sounds like _interplanetary_ space, the only one that might knock off the list is Incineroar thanks to him being Gen 7, while every other Pokémon is available in Gen 6 meaning they get to experience the Delta Episode of _Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire,_ the climax ofwhich takes place in low Earth orbit.
@@rattymatty I've seen some other comments mentioning that - Galaxy Man's stage was just the first and best example that came to mind for me (especially since Galaxy Man's stage theme is an absolute banger).
@@rattymatty He actually does this in the endgame of the Earlier GB games too. It happens earlier in 5 GB (after you beat the first 5 bosses of the game).
Pyra and Mythra have been to space. At the very end of the game, they go to the space station where they were originally. You literally said that you would count them before being awakened as going to space but in xc2, you can go (I’m pretty sure) even higher in the space station than their cores originally were so yeah. Pyra and Mythra have been to space
10:33 Counter: Low Orbit Space Station. It’s the place in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 where you fight the final boss. It’s in space, characters comment that they’re in space, and you can the planet and stars. Due to this game being Pyra and Mythra’s home game, they’ve been to space. However, we can also count Shulk since you can meet him in the Land of Challenge, do a mission to get him into Alrest, and bring him up to the Low Orbit Space Station.
One correction I wanted to make, at the end of Fire Emblem Engage, Sombron creates a wormhole out of the realm of Elyos, and you follow him through it and fight him in space. Every Fire Emblem character playable in Smash is also an emblem in Engage, meaning that the entire Smash FE cast actually have been to space (or at least a version of them has)
@@BJGvideos true but only adults are allowed in and many believe that the reason cremia lets romani have some chateau romani on the final night is to get her too drunk to feel it when everybody dies... trivia on the zelda wiki also seems to go along with the idea
I just want to point out that in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphere there's a post game plot where you ride Rayquaza all the way into space to destroy a meteor. Not because it's necesary to mention it, just because it's rad as hell
The final chapter of Xenoblade 2 takes literally place in earth orbit on top of a space elevator, what do you mean with Pyra and Mythra not having been to space? (Also, they are called blades, but they aren‘t swords, they just can produce swords, what they actually are is basically sentient processor cores.)
Also we can go even higher in the space station than where Klaus and the trinity processor are (she said that pre-awakening would count as space) so that is just way more proof of them being to space
@@lovelesswish1972 The funny thing is, I was actually thinking of drawing that parallel myself. It‘s not an exact match (things like fusions don‘t generally exist for blades), but there are quite a few parallels, like the core crystal being the only part of a blade vulnerable to permanent damage.
Wait but Pyra and Mythra HAVE been to space at the end of Xenoblade 2 after they’ve climbed the world tree. That entire station is in space. And by proxy shulk, who is a dlc blade in XC2, can then accompany the party to the top of the world tree as well. That’s space for all 3 no?
Some ideas! Which characters have canonically: 1. Danced? 2. Driven/piloted a vehicle? 3. Killed a dragon? 4. Explored the ocean depths? 5. Seen a movie/play?
Obviously they already qualify separately as a Mario Kart guest, but shout-out to Inklings going to space at the end of Splatoon 3's story mode for a kaiju fight between a giant bear and a giant fish. It's as awesome as it sounds.
14:26 you forgot snapshot “23W13a_or_b” for the Java edition. Which lets players vote for things to be added to the game in game, which then get activated by the server. Several of which are different ways to go to the moon.
Gotta correct again, the Megaman in Starforce isnt the one we play in smash. There are multiple "Megamen" as seen in his final smash. The one from Starforce, isn't ot a robot, it's a kid from totally separate timeline named Geo Stellar, that becomes a hero after befriending an alien from a planet of aliens made up of radiowaves that allows him to transform into the Megaman of his series. That being said, the Megaman in smash has been to space before, multiple times iirc lol. Just the proof you used was off.
Goombanna, if you see this: MegaMan/RockMan, or Rock, is the Megaman of the classic series (1-11, Gameboy, & Bass) and is who we see in smash (Technically Proto Man also counts since he's a prototype but is his own robot) X is Megaman from the X series (X-X8, Command Mission), and exists as an imperfect copy and a cyber elf programme respectively in the Zero series (Zero-Zero 4) Megaman Volnutt is the Megaman of the Legends series (Legends, Legends 2) Megaman.EXE is the Megaman of the Battle Network series (Battle Network-Battle Network 6) and is a computer programme (NetNavi) operated by a child named Lan Star Force Megaman and Geo Stellar are the Megaman and compatible human of the Star Force series (Star Force Dragon/Pegasus/Leo - Star Force 3 Black Ace/Red Joker)
@@injuringchip3161 While reading this I did a mental checklist to see who of the different Megamen did or did not go into space and welp, the answer is all of them have. Megaman several times, mostly fighting on Wiley built stations. X on several space stations. Volnutt, the final battle takes place on a space station in Legends 2 and the cliff hanger leads to Roll and Tron trying to get him back. Megaman.exe actually goes into a cyber world on a Comet in the final fight of Battle Network 4. And Starforce has him go into space several times.
Was surprised about Pittoo tbh, forgor that he just blasts off again like that lmao. 9/10 video I'd count the space station that Pyra Mythra go to at the end of XC2 as being in space.
14:16 what about snapshot 23w13a_or_b, also known as The Vote Update? One of the gag additions you could vote on is adding a moon dimension, where if you reach Y-level 700 you land on the moon!
In the Tenth Chapter of Xenoblade 2, Rex and Pyra/Mythra, along with the whole party reach the first low orbit station, which is a space station in outer space. They even see their own planet when looking out the window. I'd say they've been to space personally.
“There are no vampires in outer space” that we can see, anyway. Telescopes use mirrors to work. Outer Space could be full of vampires and we wouldn’t know
Pokemon would have been easier as well. I believe in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire games' Delta Episode, don't you actually go to space on Rayquaza to battle Deoxys?
Gotta object to the usage of Starforce for this, that is a different guy. He's not even a robot. Pretty sure Megaman Classic has been to space, though.
shulk pyra and mythra have all been to space the final chapter of xenoblade 2 literally takes place in a space elevator and you can get shulk as a party member in xenoblade 2
For Minecraft Steve, if we're not counting April fools updates (let's be frank, having to include the potatoverse into consideration for these videos would be wild), then there's an argument for the End being in outer space. It's not exactly confirmed, but with the starry void and statements from Mojang that imply the End is a replacement for the Eather (A heaven dimension) do make it seem feasible.
Fire Emblem Heroes has Aether Keep/Raids, where you basically have a castle that goes higher and higher into the sky the more you progress in it, and all Smash characters can be on said castle. It goes all the way into the exosphere, though if you advance beyond that you reach...Heaven? Well Asgard, but you kind of pop out of spacey-space entirely.
The ending of fe engage sure feels like it takes place in space, not sure if it is specifically space though. If it is, then every character would get in due to being an emblem
@@SeaOfPixels i never said it IS space, i said "Space-Like" meaning it is similar in appearance to space, and i even said "technically" and "Sort of" too so maybe read better?

I believe that Corrin has been to space, before the final level of fire emblem revelation your army gets sucked into what looks like a wormhole and there are stars and floating debris everywhere. Also because Ike, Robin, Marth, and Lucina have amiibos that can add those characters to your army they can also go to space
7:20 Fire Emblem Three Hopes and Fire Emblem Engage have fights in space. All the Fire emblem characters in Smash are available as Engage Rings/Bands in Engage, and thus have gone to space
It would've been also funny to see Anna struggle with whether to count the "Otherworld" area of Miitopia as space or not, because it's literally above the skies (it's above a skyscraper and represented by a spacey portal in the game map), but it's also literally called "Otherworld" so it could be a weird dimensional plane. XD
Seeing you show up on Dropout as the Knife Thrower in the heart rate episode of Game Changer was so trippy, but cool to see you doing cool stuff with cool people!
Project X Zone 2 had Chrom and Lucina as playable characters. I believe they went to space in that game. As for Mega Man, Star Force Megaman is a separate character completely. We only play as Classic Mega Man who thankfully HAS gone to space in the Game Boy Mega Man games, also known as the Mega Man World series.
With Pokemon, there's an easier example. In the Delta Episode of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire you straight up ride Rayquaza into space and do battle with Deoxys there
in kid icars uprising, one of the missions takes place on a moon space battle station, and dark pit appears in that level so that's further, more solid evidence for him having gone to space then just "he flew up real high"
A funny thing about Sora... Is that its unclear if space even exists in that universe. What you fly through is basically an ocean of darkness (KH darkness being a tangible thing) that separates thr worlds, its why the dark corridors can go between world, as basically a passageway through this, unprotected without special clothing tho (the cloaks and later specially made outfits) So it's not space, but rather a substance *that mimics space* So does that count? Also this was all from memory so if I got anything wrong please let me know
The top of the World Tree in Xenoblade 2 is a space station, so Pyra and Mythra have been to space, and since Shulk is an equipable character, so has he
How about which Smash characters are familiar with Mario? Including tiers of "Is Mario" "Mario's Inner Circle" "Has met Mario" "Knows Mario exists" "Might know Mario exists (for when there's a connection in their game but the character in question might not know)" "No evidence they know Mario exists" It'll be interesting to see what connections to Mario you can find outside the Kart crew.
Well, considering that Little Mac's entry hung on a game I've never heard of, and the specific sport doesn't exactly lend itself to being set in space, I'd have to say that one was the most surprising.
Mega Man did go to space, but not in the way she describes. She described Mega Man Starforce. Definitively different person with his own story and timeline separate to classic Mega Man, the one who is in Smash. Two people with the same title, basically. However, classic Mega Man did go to space. One example being Mega Man V on Gameboy (AKA Rockman World 5), where Mega Man travels between the planets of the solar system.
ok, disregarding how these kinds of vids give me whiplash every time they go over Pokémon Trainer and Mega Man because of how as a fan of both franchises I KNOW these are supposed to be specific characters and not just "whoever has that name" like it is for Inkling and Villager, HOW does the fighting game crew's stages count but NOT the Aegis going to a literal space station where they can SEE the endless sea of stars??? Sure they technically weren't fully out in space but that's still a SPACE STATION, so shouldn't it be equivalent to people going through space in vehicles???
Part of me dies everytime someone does a video like this and counts "mega man" as a title when it's literally THAT CHARACTER'S NAME, if it said "Mega man" and it was like Megaman.EXE instead of classic series Mega, then I would understand counting every "megamen" in since just "Mega Man" isnt their real name like "Inkling" or "Pokémon Trainer", but it just doesnt make any sense for the version of Mega man that is literally called "Mega man" only to be counted as a title and being counted as Geo Stelar and X (like she counted in the past for the instrument video).
@@jmrmd9272 at least unlike the music video I can agree about MM cause in mega man 3 he travel to uncharted planets and in mega man 5 star man's stage is in space
@@theenderkirby I mean, for the instrument vid, given she let official art usable as proof, then classic Mega Man also still has proof in the form of him playing the keyboard on the official "We Are Rock-Men" album. So it's true of that one too. Just really annoying that the "name is generic therefore character is generic" rule really doesn't apply that well to MM imo.
Some ideas off the top of my head (I don't know if you've already done any of these): Which Smash characters have... - been to the beach - been to a museum - been to a festival/faire/carnival - read a book - watched a movie - been to college/graduated school - eaten an apple - eaten cake - been to/fought on an actual battlefield - worn a costume - eaten candy - bought a home - rode a horse - eaten a cookie - has social media - met royalty - met a god/goddess/deity - been to an amusement/theme park - been to a zoo - owned a pet
The Mega Man in Smash Bros is classic Mega Man, which is a completely separate character from Star Force Mega Man (AKA Geo Stellar) That being said, Mega Man has fought robot masters in space, like Star Man, Galaxy Man and Astro Man, so he still counts.
Quick objection to the Joker result while Okumura’s palace is in the meta verse the stuff in the meta verse is real (guns being able to fire real bullets as example) they even say the thieves can’t breathe while outside the ship and they are also effected by the palaces zero gravity so I would argue that one should be counted Also Sephiroth has travelled between worlds in kingdom hearts moving from Olympus to Hollow Bastion so maybe if you squint at it a bit All that being said absolutely love your videos
Nah, the Metaverse is absolutely a different plane of existence connected to the Collective Unconscious. What you're thinking of is how the toy/airsoft guns the party brings into the Metaverse act like actual guns there because the characters expect them to work (and Morgana's slingshot literally and canonically works just as effectively as them). It's another "belief makes reality" thing, since Persona often likes hitting that metaphysical idea. That's also why the Phantom Thieves can't breathe outside the station and are affected by zero-gravity: because Okumura's palace takes the form of a space station, and so everything works the way Okumura and the Thieves _expect_ a space station to work. It isn't that they can't breathe outside the station because it's in space and there's no air in space, it's that they can't breathe outside the station because that's how everyone "knows" space stations and space would work.
5:14 If anyone doesn't believe the ultra wormhole should count, there's also the Deoxys fight in ORAS that happens in space, which can be done with every smash pokemon except Incineroar.
Perhaps a suggestion for Fire Emblem characters: in the mobile game Fire Emblem Heroes, there exists a mode called Aether Raids. Basically, you fight other people's defense setups, and they yours. The score is determined by "Lift", which is shown via your Aether Base going higher into the sky. And eventually, your base could get into outer space, as evidenced by the stars and whatnot in the backgrounds. And since you can deploy units onto your defense, as well as have them partake in Aether Resort, which is also located on the island, perhaps that suffices. If you need anything else, a couple battles happen in at least a spacelike reality, like in Fates, or Engage (which features Emblems of Smash characters). Not sure if it 100% qualifies as space, but... there.
You could've used the Delta Episode in ORAS as well where you had to fly into space in order to fight Deoxys, that counts every Pokemon character but Incineroar.
lol you don’t need any of that Pokemon stuff you were talking about. I’m ORAS the play character get on top of Rayquza and flys into space as part of the main story! They are in a space suit ans everything
Off the top of my head: - Snake I'm pretty sure canonically has a dog, in any case he's "good with dogs" as a recurring character trait (useful when he's sneaking past guard dogs, as he often has to) - Olimar has his pet dog Moss (it's a bipedal head-on-legs, but still very clearly the Pikmin world's version of a dog) - The Pokemon Trainer can own countless doglike Pokemon, obviously - Lucas has Boney, his canine party member - Megaman has his pet dog Rush (though its a robotic rather than an organic one) - Where do you even start with Duck Hunt? He *is* the pet dog, unless you count the offscreen gunman as part of the character, in which case he owns the dog - does Yoshi count? Is Poochy Yoshi's pet?
@@alexpotts6520 -in minecraft you can tame a wolf and cause little hearts to appear when you do -kirby has some dog like enemies, but idk if you can consider hitting those as petting -botw link had lots of dogs, but i dont think you got to pet any of them -you can pet your pokemon, but can your pokemon pet themselves? -does wolf from starfox count as a dog?
Idea for another video for this series: which characters have canonically come back from the dead? And I don’t mean Mario with his one ups I mean actually die. And then be resurrected. Like Bowser being dropped in lava and then brought back as Dry Bowser or Ridley dying and being cloned back to life.
You should do a list on which Smash Characters cannonically died in their universe. And i'm talking about death that happens during the course of the game they're in. A real death, that impact the story. I'm including bad endings or alternate ending as well cause some games featured in Smash have them. (For example, when you screw up on a mission or do something you weren't supposed to do and the main character or one of the core characters die an horrible death. Those count The character can die and stay dead or come back to life (depending on the plot). As long as it's part of the story or happens in a cutscene, it counts. Deaths from a gameplay perspective (Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, The LoZ, Metroid, etc) don't count. Or else, 90% of the smash cast would be on that list.
The Megaman you showed in the clip was from the Megaman Star Force series, not the one from the classic series. One example of classic Megaman canonically going to space was in Megaman V for the Gameboy past the first 1/3 of the game while being inside Rush to fight the other bosses.
I was thinking the Mega Man GB games would've been a better example, since the Mega Man in Mega Man Star Force is completely different, but good vid nonetheless!
(3:20) While I agree with you on the point about Mario Kart and canon. I don't think this should count for Zelda and Animal Crossing, since those franchises are just guests. Just because there's no proof that this isn't canon in Mario, will you say that this is canon in Zelda and Animal Crossing? Why can't the kart in Animal Crossing be a model? Nintendo games are canonically games in Animal Crossing, but that doesn't make the games reality in Animal Crossing.
Pyra and Mythra HAVE been to space. At the end of xenoblade 2 they sacrifice themselves to send an escape pod at the top of the world tree. The world tree itself is in space so they have been there
TIL Banjo & Kazooie went to space in Nuts n' Bolts and that Nuts n' Bolts is more than the first level, because that's all I've ever been able to tolerate, as well as anyone else I know who's played it.
Actually the Mega Man we play as in Smash is not just a "generic character" he is actually one of several incarnations of Mega Man, and each Mega Man is his own seperate character. To list them off you have: Classic Mega Man (Mega Man 1-11) (This is the Mega Man we play as in Smash) Mega Man X (Mega Man X 1-8) Mega Man Volnutt (From Mega Man Legends) Mega Man.exe (From Mega Man Battle Network) Starforce Mega Man (From Mega Man Starforce obviously) Kind of like Hero in that regard
😂 Your commentary in this one is awesome! 'Sure, memory space LOOKS like space, but it's not really space. Shulk is dreaming here. But when everyone is there, fully conscious, this could be argued as actual space! But if you're in a perfect replica of space, does it matter that it's not really space? I'm saying no proof! It's not real and I have a job to do!' 😂😂😂
@@yosoyflips ah yes, incineroar, a pokemon begging for extra scraps and recognition, such an obscure character does deserve to have some extra recognition, as a treat
Hate to be nitpicky... but if Megaman (Classic) and Megaman (Starforce) are two VERY different and separate people, literally separated by entire timelines, I'm not sure we can count that Megaman entry... not that it's needed, didn't the little guy go planet hopping in Megaman V?
8:15 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm decently sure that the Mega Man in Star Force is different from the OG Mega Man playable in Smash Bros. He's not just a different interpretation, he's a physically different robot. If he still counts because he still has the Mega Man, that's fine, I just figured I would that point that out. I'm also not 100% sure of this claim honestly.
Unlike most of the characters that we can kind of say, oh it's always them this is legit always a different robot or dude. That was the point, you are different versions, so they are in effect different characters.
Counterpoint on palutena: she says she ‘hid’ the sacred treasures in the constellations, she didn’t say she went and physically grabbed them and carried them off over there. Palutena is known to teleport items all the time, from placing healing items in the levels for pit (yes canonically she is the one doing that), to teleporting pit himself out of the levels at the end. We have no proof palutena went to space in person, as it is likely she just teleported the treasures from her home in skyworld. I also wouldn’t count her being on the discord call with pit while he was in space in chapter 8. I don’t believe she shows up in person in any of the other space levels like the aurum arc either.
The final battle of Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation takes place in a starry void that sure LOOKS like space. Definitely deserves consideration as Corrin and 4 other Snashers are playable there via amiibo

I just want to point out that in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphere there's a post game plot where you ride Rayquaza all the way into space to destroy a meteor. Not because it's necesary to mention it, just because it's rad as hell
It's totally cool to mention extra examples that weren't used Especially if they're rad as hell 🤘
We can also have the DLC Shulk blade go there if that counts...
From what little knowledge I have of Xenobale, Pyra and Mythra make me think of them as gems from Steven Universe and thats a thought I didn't need
yeah that is like, barely space, but it is space. It's space enough that if you opened a window you'd die.
I feel like the World Tree should surely count as Pyra/Mythra (and Shulk as a DLC Blade) going to space.
Surely? They straight up point it out!
Pyra and Mithra have both been in space, Xenoblade 2 final chapter is basically entirely in space
Some ideas! Which characters have canonically:
1. Danced?
2. Driven/piloted a vehicle?
3. Killed a dragon?
4. Explored the ocean depths?
5. Seen a movie/play?
6. Killed someone?
for dancing do goofy little victory dances count or does it have to be to diegetic music?
Obviously they already qualify separately as a Mario Kart guest, but shout-out to Inklings going to space at the end of Splatoon 3's story mode for a kaiju fight between a giant bear and a giant fish. It's as awesome as it sounds.
And don't forget Kazuya fights his son on a meteor flying through space in Tekken 8. Yes, that's canon.
Best part is when they both crash back down on earth WITHOUT their devil genes, and they just keep fighting like nothing happened
14:26 you forgot snapshot “23W13a_or_b” for the Java edition. Which lets players vote for things to be added to the game in game, which then get activated by the server. Several of which are different ways to go to the moon.
Fun fact: during its development, it was considered to have Fire Emblem Awakening set on Mars.
Was gonna write this lmao.
It was because "Marth" was given his name after "Mars", the Greek god of war
Gotta correct again, the Megaman in Starforce isnt the one we play in smash. There are multiple "Megamen" as seen in his final smash. The one from Starforce, isn't ot a robot, it's a kid from totally separate timeline named Geo Stellar, that becomes a hero after befriending an alien from a planet of aliens made up of radiowaves that allows him to transform into the Megaman of his series.
That being said, the Megaman in smash has been to space before, multiple times iirc lol. Just the proof you used was off.
It's frustrating that she keeps mixing these up.
Mega Man 5 (Star Man’s stage), Mega Man 10 (Wily Fortress), and a lot of the Game Boy games, to name a few
Goombanna, if you see this:
MegaMan/RockMan, or Rock, is the Megaman of the classic series (1-11, Gameboy, & Bass) and is who we see in smash
(Technically Proto Man also counts since he's a prototype but is his own robot)
X is Megaman from the X series (X-X8, Command Mission), and exists as an imperfect copy and a cyber elf programme respectively in the Zero series (Zero-Zero 4)
Megaman Volnutt is the Megaman of the Legends series (Legends, Legends 2)
Megaman.EXE is the Megaman of the Battle Network series (Battle Network-Battle Network 6) and is a computer programme (NetNavi) operated by a child named Lan
Star Force Megaman and Geo Stellar are the Megaman and compatible human of the Star Force series (Star Force Dragon/Pegasus/Leo - Star Force 3 Black Ace/Red Joker)
I assume she's treating Mega Man as a title, similar to how Pokemon Trainer refers to all the trainers and not just Red/Leaf.
As someone else said, it’d be pretty funny if Isabelle for example killed a man. (Basically which smash characters have murdered ppl)
She could easily kill Resetti. She knows how. But WOULD she?
Was surprised about Pittoo tbh, forgor that he just blasts off again like that lmao. 9/10 video I'd count the space station that Pyra Mythra go to at the end of XC2 as being in space.

The twist of Little Mac going to space made my day.
In the Tenth Chapter of Xenoblade 2, Rex and Pyra/Mythra, along with the whole party reach the first low orbit station, which is a space station in outer space. They even see their own planet when looking out the window. I'd say they've been to space personally.
12:59 how can you be sure there's no vampires in space? Telescopes use mirrors, and vampires don't reflect in a mirror
“There are no vampires in outer space” that we can see, anyway. Telescopes use mirrors to work. Outer Space could be full of vampires and we wouldn’t know

Little Mac heard he was "no air fighter" and took that literally.

Space. It seems to go on and on forever...
BUT THEN YOU GET TO THE END AND A GORILLA STARTS THROWING BARRELS AT'CHA!!
And that's how you play the game!
Aw man! I know Mario Kart counts the miis, but it would've been funny to show when the miis go on a space vacations with Tomodachi Life
It would've been also funny to see Anna struggle with whether to count the "Otherworld" area of Miitopia as space or not, because it's literally above the skies (it's above a skyscraper and represented by a spacey portal in the game map), but it's also literally called "Otherworld" so it could be a weird dimensional plane. XD
Seeing you show up on Dropout as the Knife Thrower in the heart rate episode of Game Changer was so trippy, but cool to see you doing cool stuff with cool people!
Oh wow, I had no idea that was her!
@@Idran Anna has many talents.
Since Halloween is just around the corner, I would like to know how many Smash bros characters have been in a graveyard...
In the Delta Episode of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire you straight up ride Rayquaza into space and do battle with Deoxys there
It would exclude Incineroar though.
in kid icars uprising, one of the missions takes place on a moon space battle station, and dark pit appears in that level so that's further, more solid evidence for him having gone to space then just "he flew up real high"
For Steve, you could set up quite a bit of tnt under yourself, then activate it all at the same time. This would cause you to go as high as space
A funny thing about Sora... Is that its unclear if space even exists in that universe.
What you fly through is basically an ocean of darkness (KH darkness being a tangible thing) that separates thr worlds, its why the dark corridors can go between world, as basically a passageway through this, unprotected without special clothing tho (the cloaks and later specially made outfits)
So it's not space, but rather a substance *that mimics space*
So does that count?
Also this was all from memory so if I got anything wrong please let me know
The top of the World Tree in Xenoblade 2 is a space station, so Pyra and Mythra have been to space, and since Shulk is an equipable character, so has he
How about which Smash characters are familiar with Mario? Including tiers of "Is Mario" "Mario's Inner Circle" "Has met Mario" "Knows Mario exists" "Might know Mario exists (for when there's a connection in their game but the character in question might not know)" "No evidence they know Mario exists"
It'll be interesting to see what connections to Mario you can find outside the Kart crew.
Well, considering that Little Mac's entry hung on a game I've never heard of, and the specific sport doesn't exactly lend itself to being set in space, I'd have to say that one was the most surprising.
This is the content I didn't know I needed.
Not only that, but Kazuya also got yeeted into space in a forced space walk at the end of one of the Tekkens!
Mega Man did go to space, but not in the way she describes.
She described Mega Man Starforce. Definitively different person with his own story and timeline separate to classic Mega Man, the one who is in Smash. Two people with the same title, basically.
However, classic Mega Man did go to space. One example being Mega Man V on Gameboy (AKA Rockman World 5), where Mega Man travels between the planets of the solar system.
ok, disregarding how these kinds of vids give me whiplash every time they go over Pokémon Trainer and Mega Man because of how as a fan of both franchises I KNOW these are supposed to be specific characters and not just "whoever has that name" like it is for Inkling and Villager,
HOW does the fighting game crew's stages count but NOT the Aegis going to a literal space station where they can SEE the endless sea of stars??? Sure they technically weren't fully out in space but that's still a SPACE STATION, so shouldn't it be equivalent to people going through space in vehicles???
Part of me dies everytime someone does a video like this and counts "mega man" as a title when it's literally THAT CHARACTER'S NAME, if it said "Mega man" and it was like Megaman.EXE instead of classic series Mega, then I would understand counting every "megamen" in since just "Mega Man" isnt their real name like "Inkling" or "Pokémon Trainer", but it just doesnt make any sense for the version of Mega man that is literally called "Mega man" only to be counted as a title and being counted as Geo Stelar and X (like she counted in the past for the instrument video).
fair on mega man but i disagree on pokemon trainer just being red
@@jmrmd9272 at least unlike the music video I can agree about MM cause in mega man 3 he travel to uncharted planets and in mega man 5 star man's stage is in space

- been to a festival/faire/carnival
- read a book
- watched a movie
- been to college/graduated school
- eaten an apple
- eaten cake

- bought a home
- rode a horse
- eaten a cookie
- has social media

Owned a Pet also needs a special category for "Is a pet," for Duck Hunt Duo.
I don't really follow FF lore so it's so funny to find out through this video that Sephiroth has ship of theseus'd himself
The Mega Man in Smash Bros is classic Mega Man, which is a completely separate character from Star Force Mega Man (AKA Geo Stellar)
That being said, Mega Man has fought robot masters in space, like Star Man, Galaxy Man and Astro Man, so he still counts.
also id like to mention even if inkling werent in mariokart theyd still be on the list because they have a whole boss battle in space :)
Quick objection to the Joker result while Okumura’s palace is in the meta verse the stuff in the meta verse is real (guns being able to fire real bullets as example) they even say the thieves can’t breathe while outside the ship and they are also effected by the palaces zero gravity so I would argue that one should be counted
Also Sephiroth has travelled between worlds in kingdom hearts moving from Olympus to Hollow Bastion so maybe if you squint at it a bit
All that being said absolutely love your videos
Can we really be sure there aren't any vampires in space? Telescopes use mirrors, so we would never know...just food for thought.
I get the feeling you might enjoy reading Blindsight by Peter Watts 😉
Not sure if it 100% qualifies as space, but... there.
5:26 ULTRA SUN WAS THE GAME THAT CHECKED OFF THE POKEMON 🎉!! Absolute childhood game (yes I'm young)

Since “can you pet the dog” is such a popular video game question, how about which smash characters have pet a dog? Or other dog-like animals?
Off the top of my head:
- Snake I'm pretty sure canonically has a dog, in any case he's "good with dogs" as a recurring character trait (useful when he's sneaking past guard dogs, as he often has to)
- Olimar has his pet dog Moss (it's a bipedal head-on-legs, but still very clearly the Pikmin world's version of a dog)
- The Pokemon Trainer can own countless doglike Pokemon, obviously
- Lucas has Boney, his canine party member
- Megaman has his pet dog Rush (though its a robotic rather than an organic one)
- Where do you even start with Duck Hunt? He *is* the pet dog, unless you count the offscreen gunman as part of the character, in which case he owns the dog
- does Yoshi count? Is Poochy Yoshi's pet?

Those count
The character can die and stay dead or come back to life (depending on the plot). As long as it's part of the story or happens in a cutscene, it counts.
Deaths from a gameplay perspective (Super Mario, Sonic the Hedgehog, The LoZ, Metroid, etc) don't count. Or else, 90% of the smash cast would be on that list.
How about one that doesn't happen during the game but impacts a different game in the series? Namely Hero's Shade in Twilight Princess.
The Megaman you showed in the clip was from the Megaman Star Force series, not the one from the classic series. One example of classic Megaman canonically going to space was in Megaman V for the Gameboy past the first 1/3 of the game while being inside Rush to fight the other bosses.
I wanna know which smash characters have canonically took a dump
what
I was thinking the Mega Man GB games would've been a better example, since the Mega Man in Mega Man Star Force is completely different, but good vid nonetheless!

Actually the Mega Man we play as in Smash is not just a "generic character" he is actually one of several incarnations of Mega Man, and each Mega Man is his own seperate character. To list them off you have:
Classic Mega Man (Mega Man 1-11) (This is the Mega Man we play as in Smash)
Mega Man X (Mega Man X 1-8)
Mega Man Volnutt (From Mega Man Legends)
Mega Man.exe (From Mega Man Battle Network)
Starforce Mega Man (From Mega Man Starforce obviously)
Kind of like Hero in that regard

Here's an idea: which characters have a confirmed/name parent?
The final battle of Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation takes place in a starry void that sure LOOKS like space. Definitely deserves consideration as Corrin and 4 other Snashers are playable there via amiibo
