On the Wii when I played mushroom gorge in the beginning there were these purple flowers don’t mind them but when you turn off the cliff there are mushrooms under there that you can bounce on and if done correctly you can hop that brown fence at that bridge area in mushroom gorge. PS. I discovered it first and I believe you can still do this in deluxe but I haven’t tried.

@@jooosiah9 I believe that the Royal Raceway one can skip checkpoints but generally does not. I believe that while you can skip the check point there, even if you are trying to skip the checkpoint, you probably will not.
@ljfarmer28 Yes, all of them work with the checkpoint system and can be used in races if you pull them off. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has a very well working checkpoint system compared to previous Mario Kart games.
