Spending time with nature has become a consistent and mindful practice for me in addition to my embroidery work. In my not so distant past, I used to see myself as separate from the world around me. As I’ve continued on this journey of inner peace and present living, I’ve discovered the unity between me and all natural elements of this world. Finding time to get outside and journal on whatever comes to mind has become a simple way to incorporate my creativity in small increments mixed throughout the day among all the other demands of life.
This short vlog documents an embroidery pattern inspired by nature and a portion of the process of transferring it from paper to fabric.
