I'm getting there. I posted my first video in March of 2023. I've been on YT for 1.5 yrs now. I'm trying to just put out entertaining/somewhat informative content. the growth is a great byproduct!
as a 4/4 in APA and a 326 Fargo.. I like watching these matches cause I can relate. haha. And I like seeing other peoples patterns and such. Thanks for posting this stuff up!
I could try... not really sure how to teach it, other than just how much to elevate your stick and where to hit the cue ball. It sounds like your issue could be with the follow through. a lot of people get scared to rip the felt and they pull back on their stroke when trying to jump. This makes the cue ball not really leave the table. Try closing your eyes before your stroke. I bet you'll jump the cue ball if you do
I dig watching people who shoot like me, good stuff,Subscribed! I have a 58 valley that my grandfather and dad had in there basement since the 60’s. I was told it used to take dimes, unfortunately I don’t have the piece👍🏼 no short stick needed tho 😁
@@Amateur_Pool ? Question. You said in your video how valleys roll and take the English different compared to different brand tables. If you had both tables re-felted, new cushions wouldn’t they preform the same way? Anyway, My table was re-felted, new cushions etc.. by my uncle 20 some years ago. The felt is in decent shape still but 3 rails are flush with the top. 2 are an 1/8” high, the other is a 1/16. I know that’s no good. The table rolls way to slow imo so I was going to have it redone professionally. Also should I be using the over sized Q ball??? I live in Michigan where the table was made, shoot out BayCity. Any suggestions???
My teammates talk about me having a problem with being jabby My wife says the same thing All jokes aside, another great video. Always enjoy watching these and being able to pick up things to help improve my game. Keep it up!
FYI, BCA rules of 8 ball require the "kitchen" shot on a scratch on break, then ball in hand the rest of the game. No one complies but it's in the rules.
4. If you foul on a legal break and do not pocket the 8-ball, your inning ends and any other pocketed object balls remain pocketed. Your opponent receives ball in hand anywhere on the table. I remember when they changed the rules back around 2014 from the kitchen to anywhere. I was confused because I took about a year break and when I came back it was changed. If you google it, seems there is allot of conflicting information. I guess it just depends on where you play and what rules they go by. I play in the state and worlds most years and it is for sure BIH if you scratch anywhere in those tournaments.
I bought a gopro , and i dont like it to do pool videos, im going to sell it and get me something else? Got any recommendations besides that one lije yours, its pretty expensive! Lol
@@martysmallenginerepair5634 I started with a gopro. All of my early videos are shot with it. Honestly, unless you're going to spend around $1,000, a gopro is your best option. You may want to look for a used camera. You may find one cheaper
You seem to be slowly growing. I tell all my friends about you! I think when I found the channel, you were at little over 10K subs

Thanks, Marty!
Forrest should have stuck with ping pong😂 All jokes! Great match y'all
lol... thanks!
I started watching amateur pool for the same reasons you started making videos. Keep up the great work.
Also, trying to learn how to jump a ball, can't seem to get it more than an inch or 2 off the table. Maybe ypu can put out a how to video to teach.
Thanks!

Awesome, bro! My parents have a 1960's valley table. It still plays pretty well. I appreciate the sub! Thanks!

Couldn’t help but notice at 18:04 someone from the ministry of silly walks. You don’t see that in any pro video!😂 always entertaining!
LMAO - that's my buddy Eric! he's hilarious. The funny part is, he wasn't even drunk. he's just always doing something funny

Josh, How far you from the Can/Us boarder. Get over and play some with us Windsor players. :) I know you know some of us. lol
@tmanchurek I'm only an hour from windsor.. used to go all the time, before I turned 21, lol
The last game, Forrest should have shot his 2 ball into the 14 making the 14 in the corner. Then there's no shot on the remaining stripes.
LOL, i know, right! It's for the CHamily!
🍗
Or selling shrimp! Lol
LOL...
Try doing a whole video with your adolescent girl voice 😂. I learn so much from your analysis, especially shot selection. keep it up.
LOL... would be funny, maybe (or, annoying)... :) Thanks for watching!
chamily fannel
i hate playing pool at bars, damn drunks
lol... i hear ya... it's annoying sometimes. But, it could also be great mental practice, to play under those distracting conditions
44 seconds since posted,,lol
LOL - you're quick!
Don't like the look of the coin holder or whatever that is on the rail. Good way of scratching a cue.
for sure... you gotta be careful when you shoot over it
shoot don't talk
yes sir.... i'll get right on that for ya, boss!
You're a better than decent pool player...but as a commentator you jabber on too much sir.
I know I do... It's just the way I am... I can't help it :)
You don’t have to talk during the entire video…
“You know guys “ click that like button guys”
Bla blah Bla blah
meh, well.... it's how I roll
