Happy Crocheting Everyone!! Развлечения
So pretty. Absolutely gorgeous.
Nice stitch. Love the 1 - row repeat patterns. Thanks for sharing & explaining so well.
This afghan is beautiful. Love the color. I'm in middle of baby blanket I've been working on for my second great granddaughter . Had stroke on Easter Sunday and just haven't got back into crocheting again yet.
Hoping you recover well and can spend many more years creating crochet blankets.
@@TheWirdbird thank you. I've been recuperating pretty well. I was very lucky thank the lord.
Very nice Glenda. I love the border. Tyfs God bless you
Have an uncompleted side saddle stitch throw that doesn't have a border. This border is perfect for it! Going to FINALLY complete my throw using this border.
HiGlenda ❤ that blanket is jus Beautiful!!!! Thank you!
I really enjoyed making this blanket! Your videos are great you made it easy for me. Thank you!!!
Ohh soo pretty Glenda!! I love the border. ❤😮
If they donated yarn to me I'd make a big blanket out of small skeins of yarn. But small balls and big prices equals a very expensive quilt which is why I used budget yarns, i.e. red heart supersaver, give them a nice little soak in some liquid fabric softener and warm water because they can be a little rough sometimes - this makes them feel like expensive yarn after they dry. Of course, it's just easier to do your project sometimes and then soak the completed project, but I usually have no less than 10 WIPs to work on at any given time.
If you have ever gotten a hold of some yarn that squidges 'n kinda squeaks when you try to work it, it means there was too much atmospheric & atomized machine oil in the air as the yarn was being processed into a strand or where it was wound into a skein skein or ball. Petroleum products love petroleum products so, that claims to the yarn and the arm sucks it up. Fabric softener is also a petroleum product and since oil can also dissipate oils because they are different molecular weights it can help your yarn, mostly because it has other suspending agents and softening agents that break up molecular tension. And I hope I have made you understand how the fabric softener works on this annoyance.
To make it easier you can just think of it as conditioner for your hair, you need it to protect it so it won't get split ends (lint or pill or mat before your sweater or blanket is very old In other words it looks ready before it's time dies before it's time).
Hi Glenda. Hope all is well. I just watched the whole video. The Afghan is beautiful. I decided to do this Afghan and went to lionbrand and ordered 11 skeins of yarn in charlcol . Can't wait to start this. Thank you for the video tutorial . Hugs Donna 🧶🧶🧶🧶🧶😊

Love this pattern! I’m making it in a creamy white. I noticed at 54:31 you say HDC chain 2 HDC at the next corner but I’m pretty sure you meant ch1. The written pattern is correct. Thank you so much for the video!

❤❤ wonder if I could do an initial row of single crochet before starting the pattern? Like the structure it adds to this type of stitch. Beautiful as always Glenda. Thank you for sharing!
adding a sc will change the way you do the border when you come around for Rnd 1
Can I use this stitch using a 5 weight chunky yarn?
Thank you for such a beautiful pattern. Just think the yarn is UGLY. Will use something prettier. May do the inside with one color and the magnificent border in a complimentary color. I can’t wait to play with this!!
So pretty, Glenda. So, i would need more than 11 skeins of this yarn for a twin size bed? Is this a multiple of 2 + 4 for foundation row? I want to make this in different shades of purple
Can you tell us the measurements in cms for the actual blankets when describing them as many countries work in cms....thanks
Approx 107 x 140 cm
Beautiful blanket but no links for the pattern or the kit.
