Ghana is the center of the world. As a Ghanaian, I truly love to see my African American and Caribbean cousins coming back home to live and be free. I have been living in America for over 20yrs and I have seen their pains and struggles to make America equal but they don’t get the respect and dignity they deserve so pls come home to Ghana, learn the system, it’s not perfect but you have dignity as a human being living amongst your own people.

Wa Jiimi papa, wu nim yansa, Kwashia Jibo, On what planet are they your cousins. What pains are they enduring. Black people have stood shoulder to shoulder as volunteer foot soldiers of the American military machine since 1865, to invade and kill other black, brown people and Africans. Half of the soldier at the 120 US military bases across Africa, there is one in Ghana are half full of black people keeping us under military occupation and you talk of them as your brothers and sisters, they are Americans and don't give a s##t about you, go and knock on their door and see if they would welcome you as you claim to be brothers and sisters, you are a fool that deserves to be colonised. Functional illiterates like you are advocating to let black settler colonisers into the country. You don't know your history and probably can't read or would not read, so you speak from your stomach. I am sure you would not claim Ivorians, Burkinabes, Nigerians or Angolans to come to Ghana because they are your cousins. You have drank the virue signalling Koolaid, zero brains and consciousness. You are welcome to send them to your family tribal lands and share with them if they are your cousins. You have an internalised inferiority complex and a colonial mentality.

I watched til the end and i'm glad i did because brotherman dropped some real knowledge in the end about being totally self-sustainable. Its something that i've thought about ever since Katrina when I watched on TV all of those helpless black people corralled into a stadium waiting for the government to bring them food. I've been thinking differently since then. If you can grown your own food and be totally reliant on self you are way ahead of so so so many of us. I hear people boasting about first world country man the line is so thin that many don't see it. All it takes is mother nature getting angry and unleashing another Katrina on us.

    • @thebigsankofa
      @thebigsankofa 2 года назад +5

Katrina was my first eye opener where I saw first hand that the government couldn't/wouldn't be there in times of need. I remember getting a group of friends and going to the Dallas reunion arena to help the evacuees. It took the community to pull them out. That was the day I decided to be a prepper.

Didn't want to learn yet another language, and chose Ghana after visits with Embassy, NGO based older daughter. Wasn't going to wait for full retirement cause Trump and Covid gripped US. Helped youngest daughter Cameron liquidate her stuff and made plans for my home and youngest child. Great That I could build a home with 3 yrs tax refund. I am a plant whisperer. My grandad and his siblings taught value of land and its fruits. It helps that I enjoy solace. As for Ghana life for eccentric expats Luke me? Come on down!

The Lebanese people, Chinese and indians some came with almost nothing in their pockets but they are millionaires here now, I don't know how they do it but I guess they had a plan and they worked very hard to make it come through. Those people say there's gold even in our gutters but we just can't see it

It's true their is millions in the gutter... literally there's even a company using that rubbish to build blocks. What attracted us to Ghana was the idea that its wet paint; ready for the Diaspora to return and make a mark.

As an Afro American I know in 2020 many afro Americans were trying to unite w Africans for their resources to eliminate the foreign middle men. Ur beads, ur stones, ur butters….. all simply Bc they come from africa and afro americans were promoting africa before it became the trend online

It is about time to correct that narrative. They talk about coming with nothing but it is not true. Take the Chinese for instance, once they identify an area of interest, their government actually gives them money to go pursue and invest. It is actually a Chinese govt policy to "push" their citizens out to go to abroad but to Africa in particular

People just assume things without doing any proper research. Who lied to you that those people came here with nothing?

How difficult is it to transfer current physical assets into Ghana?
Are you allowed to ship your weapons from America to Ghana?
Are you allowed to ship your industrial machinery from America to Ghana?
Are you allowed to ship your custom work vehicles from America to Ghana?
What type of personal vehicles are available to purchase in Ghana?

You can ship other stuff but kindly leave the weapons in America. Let us not turn this continent into another America. All you need is available in Ghana. Any car of your choice is available.

Why are their not questions of cost? How much for the land? How to purchase the land?
The traveling cost from America? I have property would love to relocate.

Please reach us on our channel to discuss. The cost for us 2 years ago is not the same today. Cement alone was 40gh now as high as 110gh a bag

Able bodied retirees should consider owning land and homes in Ghana...Teacher and government retirees can live comfortably with only 1200 USD per month with and after construction of self compound.

It’s great to see people moving here but more needs to be discussed on how a person can gain citizenship in Ghana. I know few countries if any who just allow people to just show up and start buying and building homes on vacant land. What’s the process to become an actual citizen or have the rights to buy land and build on it?
