I just started a game on console after only ever playing Sims years ago (back in like 2004!!!) on PC and I got as far as creating a sim and then realized I had to build a house from scratch and I couldn't find any info on how to do anything on xbox specifically so I attempted to build, tried to place stairs, couldn't figure out how to make them smaller and rage quit! 🤣 You are the first gamer I have found to go through step by step on console and I appreciate you! I must now go and binge the rest of your videos.
I have Sims on PC and Console and I only ever really play on console, but it's nice to have a modded version too i I want. What's nice is sims doesn't even need that high end of a PC to run ^^,
One thing I can NOT stand is I have spent sooo much money for Sims 4 on console , and I’ve bought most of the expansion packs , but I did NOT know that I couldn’t get all the cool content I’ve been watching on RUclips until I already spent so much money. I now want to buy a laptop just to play it but I’m hesitant because I’ve already spent so much money on this game . They should really try creating some way to transfer your console account to a pc account . I love the game sooo much . I spend HOURS on this game and I’m just so heart broken to know I have to spend that money all over again plus buy the game and a laptop lol.. I’m soo frustrated 😭
They should allow The Sims to get a mortgage for a house since EA likes to start them off broke! I see so many houses I want to download and start a new sim in, but they can't afford it! Just a thought! This is a great video love your channe and fun personality! 😁
One thing I found was that when you download a Sim, and they were saved with a lot of time put into them, much of the work that you have put into them will download with them. Things like vampire traits, celebrity level and I believe even skills will be available on the sim.
Yup yup. I’ve got a video on my channel that explains how my set up works if you’re interested - check the cards. If they’re USB they’ll work if you plug them in.
I have all packs on pc and only about 70% of them on xbox and I still prefer playing on xbox. Think you need a really good gaming laptop to be able to play on pc without lags and loading screens that go on forever 😂

I don’t know anything about the Sims so I’m trying to tech guru my way to a solution. Is there a certain page or world in the game we have to be on to access the Gallery?
You should be able to access the gallery via the gallery button top right in most areas of the game. You will need to be loaded into a game though, I don’t you can open the gallery from the home page/main menu. So neighbourhood view/manage worlds/live mode/build mode and CAS should all allow gallery/F4 (if I remember the shortcut correctly I could be wrong) to work

I try to download stuff from the gallery on PS4 but sometimes it says I need to update the game but when I check for updates but is says im all up to date😕
I do know there is an update coming for us soon that fixes an issue between some PC builds not downloading. Something to do with the PC build being updated to a newer version the same day the console version got the gallery. This might be the issue - just wait for the next update coming to console and try those builds again

The worlds depend on the packs you have installed and if your game is up to date (if up to you should be able to “see” the other worlds but when you hover over them they should say “requires (this pack) to play”. As for the gallery not being there - are you in PS4 or Xbox? A lot of people in my comments saying the gallery isn’t showing up for them.

When you download from the gallery do you need to have the money to purchase the value of the house , I'm waiting for my xbox to be delivered and have my sims game already here just dont understand the logistics of the money in the sims
If you want a family to use a house from the gallery you will need the funds to afford it yes. (Check out the 2020 cheats video if you want a work around). If you’re just placing the houses while in the “manage world” area, you can place them for free but if a family want to move in you need the cash to afford it.
When I download a house, everything is there except the downstairs/main level. Like is there but all the rooms and furniture is missing. Can someone please help me resolve this 😩😩
2 options from my experience. Try turning the move objects cheat on before placing. See if the works. If not, you’re either trying to add a build that is using packs you don’t have or it is a build using custom content which isn’t supported on console or you don’t have installed on your PC.
@@ChaniZA uhhh im really bad. I just try to build the best I can and they turn out terrible. I have built a royal mansion and it sucks. And I built another house and it is the worst. I had enough so I decided to visit the Landgrab house and renovate it. Honestly I felt much better. I just share my creations so i meet people and see what people think about my creations.

CC isn’t currently available on console - check out the videos on my channel as to why. To get the gallery back you need to sign into your EA account in game settings.
I have a question. I’m playing on console and I found the most perfect sim in the gallery and wanted to add to my family but it says I can’t be ace it will go over the limit if I do. Because the perfect sim is in a household with 7 others and I only want this person is there anyway I can only have just her?a
Save the family off the gallery into your library. Then go to manage households. Split the family apart and take the sim you want and combine with the family you want to add them to. Hope this helps?

i’ve never used the gallery feature on console before but i want to use it now, can i move a pre existing family i made into a lot without messing up my progress etc?
Manage worlds allows you to add more families (and play with them) on the same save. Just make sure that aging is only set to active household in your game settings otherwise your other families will age while you aren't playing with them.

Can someone help me. I've looked everywhere for help and found nothing. I know the live edit stuff came out on console on Jan 31, but I type both showhiddenobjects and liveeditobjects. I go to the objects by function, click show all and then click rt. It only shows the hidden objects. Nothing else
Looked into it: you’re using the wrong cheat. After testing cheats are enabled type in bb.showliveeditobjects then go to buy mode - show all objects. Search “debug” so it filters your objects and you’ll find all the trees and cars and stuff.

Came out 17 Jan. it should be on your updates. Double check your connection to the internet.

CC isn’t currently available on console - check out the videos on my channel as to why. To get the gallery back you need to sign into your EA account in game settings.

I have a question. I’m playing on console and I found the most perfect sim in the gallery and wanted to add to my family but it says I can’t be ace it will go over the limit if I do. Because the perfect sim is in a household with 7 others and I only want this person is there anyway I can only have just her?a
Save the family off the gallery into your library. Then go to manage households. Split the family apart and take the sim you want and combine with the family you want to add them to. Hope this helps?

If you download a family with a dog or a pet, without the pack will it still upload the dog

i’ve never used the gallery feature on console before but i want to use it now, can i move a pre existing family i made into a lot without messing up my progress etc?
Manage worlds allows you to add more families (and play with them) on the same save. Just make sure that aging is only set to active household in your game settings otherwise your other families will age while you aren't playing with them.
Aloha, Can you take screen shots of a home and upload to the gallery with the build or does it automatically does the outside when you upload? I am currently on a PC but I started with the console in April. Thanks

Can someone help me. I've looked everywhere for help and found nothing. I know the live edit stuff came out on console on Jan 31, but I type both showhiddenobjects and liveeditobjects. I go to the objects by function, click show all and then click rt. It only shows the hidden objects. Nothing else

I haven’t checked if this works on console yet. I know it works on PC but not all PC cheats work on console. I’ll look into it and let you know.
Looked into it: you’re using the wrong cheat. After testing cheats are enabled type in bb.showliveeditobjects then go to buy mode - show all objects. Search “debug” so it filters your objects and you’ll find all the trees and cars and stuff.

Why is the sims 4 for console so underrated?
Probably because we don’t have mods. I personally love my console version because otherwise I wouldn’t be able to play at all.
