Hey, in my bios I only have 3 options under the boot option, USB boot, PXE boot to LAN, IPV4 PXE First (all enabled). I tried disabling the "secure boot" under the security option but nothing happens. I also don't think my lenovo (Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 14ARE05) has the option for a diagnostic check. I really need some help.

I have a Lenovo V15 G2 ITL. It came with a M.2 drive and Windows 11. I added a 2Tb SATA SSD fully working multibootable drive from another laptop. The BIOS detects the drive but there is no boot option for it. I guess there should be another Windows Boot Manager for it? After many failed attempts I decided to try to remove the M.2 drive. That resulted in Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed error message but still no boot manager for the SATA drive. So I installed the M.2 drive again and everything works fine but still no option for booting from the SATA drive. Is this possible at all and then how can I do this?

My model is a Yoga 7 14IAL7. When I open my laptop, it says:
    Setup Confirmation
Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed.
Insert Recovery Media and Hit any key
Then Select ‘Boot Manager’ to choose a new Boot Device or to Boot Recovery Media
I pressed “Ok” and it took me to the “Please select boot device” screen, but there were no boot devices for me to pick from.
Do you know what I have to do to fix my laptop? I think that maybe the hard drive might have to be adjusted, but I don’t know for sure.

I've watched your tutorial and moved the HDD to the top of both start menus at the bios level, no luck. Check the date and time and that's all current. I re-seated the hard drive, still no luck.

Hi! I have a Lenovo Ideapad 330. I was closing apps one day then it suddenly blue screened, after which prompted a blue dialogue box saying something about a device boot issue. Then it progressed to the checking media loop. I've tried changing the BIOS settings from UEFI to Legacy Support, with the boot priority set at "UEFI first", fast boot enabled, USB boot enabled, and PXE boot to LAN enabled. It didn't fix the issue. Then I set the PXE boot to disabled, which then showed the message "no bootable device."

I have a Lenovo Yoga 6 laptop, my 1 yr old managed to spill milk on this morning (not a lot but apparently enough!!) now
I am getting this screen whenever I turn it on saying “setup notice default boot device missing or boot failed insert recovery media and hit any key then select boot manager to choose a new boot device or boot recovery media” so I am assuming something happened internally to the hardware/hard drive 😢 I have watched several RUclips videos on how to possibly fix that error message but cannot for the life of me figure out how to get into the BIOS menu. I’ve tried Fn2 Fn1 buttons over and over on startup. I don’t have the screwdriver to get into the back of the laptop to take out the hard drive atm so I am just wondering if you have any idea if it is even worth trying to save, or if you have any other possible ideas I could try without actually opening up the laptop? I would much rather not have to go spend $800 on a new laptop but I have to have one for school (I am working on my bachelors in computer information systems) thank you ahead of time for any suggestions/help at all!!!! 1. After a liquid spill, you want to first make sure the computer is 100% dry. You would turn your computer off immediately by pressing and holding the power button until the computer turns off. Then you would disassemble the computer as much as your comfortable with, at least trying to remove the bottom case. Then you would turn it on its side and let dry for a couple days. Have you done this yet or are you sure the computer is dry?
      2. I would take a look at the HDD and possible 'reseat' it as seen here. If you need tools, you can visit a local shop or you can see tools in the Repair Tools list here: www.amazon.com/shop/pcmonkey

When I hit f2 on the reset to starts the Bios menu (I think that’s what it’s called), I don’t know how to change the boot priority order. When I click the Boot tab, there are just several options that you can either click enable or disable, of
Which they’re all currently selected as enable. So it get stuck at this stage. Appreciate people out there though helping people RUclips so thanks if you do see this and I’m going to keep searching on how to fix this issue
