      Start looking now for a cooler. They can be hard to find.

    good one!
    why didn't you do any holes for oxygen to come inside the incubator, or is it not needed?

    You think 1 twelve inch piece of heat tape down the back would keep it at 90?

    • @FenderFootprints
      @FenderFootprints  Год назад

      I think that would depend on outside temperatures and how much area you are trying to heat.

    Great video! Is there a reason why you put the heat tape on the top and sides as opposed to on the center of the back and bottom? I'm about to build one and am not sure where exactly to put the tape and fans.

      It is not on the top. Only the sides. We chose to do it this way to heat the inside more evenly. We have seen many people have issues with it along the back and then later have to create a false wall to distribute the heat more evenly around the sides. We put the fans where we thought they would do the best. The fans are to push the heat down and circulate throughout the inside.

      Ok, that's what I though. Nice job and thank you for the quick response.

    Curious, does the humidity effect the computer fan ( AC Infinity Fan) your usingand did it come with all the wiring needed to make it work or was that separate?

    • @FenderFootprints
      @FenderFootprints  3 года назад

      Most of the humidity is contained in the egg boxes, so I have not seen a difference is function with the fans. The fans did come with complete wiring assembly and control switch.

    What is the name of the pliers you used to attach to heat tape

    • @FenderFootprints
      @FenderFootprints  3 года назад

      They are crimping pliers. We purchased ours from reptilebasics.com when purchasing the heat tape and other supplies.
