    Great video, I used the 128 qt cooler with 2 submersible fish tank heaters, 2 submersible pumps and a thermostat method this year. I learned it from Reachout reptiles and it's working really great. I'll be trying the old fridge and heat tape method next season to see witch one I like better until I can build my walk in incubator. Keep up the great work Benjamin your videos are really great.

      @eddie julian, Indeed! I also viewed the video from Reach Out Reptiles and his method works great as well!

    Great video 👍 I'll hopefully be using these great tips in about 2 years when I get to breeding ball pythons.

    Hey Benjamin. I'm a new ball owner, I've found your vids extremely helpful and to the point. Are you going to have any of the Mojave babies for sale? I got mine off Morph Market from a guy here in Colorado. Just a normal male but I'm hooked lol. Hopefully I'll be getting a couple more this year. Thanks man!

      @Slade Bressie, assuming I hit the right odds I should have a few male and female Mojaves this season. I have one big Mojave who should be dropping her eggs sometime next month.

      @@BenjaminsExotics ya I think I heard you say that she was expected to lay soon. She's beautiful. Hoping to get an adult female for breeding by this time next year. I'm definitely hooked lol.

    Where did you get the egg grates for the bottom of the containers?

      @Brandon Wilson, I get all of mine from Lowes and cut them to size. how much vermiculite/water do you use for those tubs?

    • @BenjaminsExotics
      @BenjaminsExotics  3 года назад +1

      @Randee's Reptiles, I don't have an exact formula, but I want enough so the tub doesn't dry out, but not so much water that it can come in direct contact with the eggs through the plastic grid.

    This is why most put the probe in the boxes

    • @BenjaminsExotics
      @BenjaminsExotics  4 года назад

      @Ashley Inked
      , while you can put the probe in your tub setups that will increase the chance of your probe failing to read an accurate temperature.

    Hey, I’m in the process of building a DIY cooler incubator. Do you have Instagram or FB where I dm you personally to ask questions?
