Another Exellent informative video from Mr T sadly there doesn’t seem to be any British Tourists in Sosua or Cabarete anymore Hope you are keeping well Mr T keep up the great videos.
Thanks Steve! yes a lot of the Brits relocated to Spain, so it seemed too hard to track one down that would be on camera (for my last video). It's a rotating door here, but to me, that's what makes the place interesting. Take care! Brgds, Mr.T
Hola i am arriving in 18 days... needed this video however... i could completely understand which hotel was where. a subtitle would be much better i think...
Love Mr T and his content, but gotta disagree with Choco Restaurant. I would rather eat almost anywhere else than there. 4 breakfast choices, loud traffic, flies. . .go to Waterfront, Natura Cabana or Bologna.
For my sensibilities, I can take DR in small increments. I find going there is like sitting down for a really delicious meal. I’m hungry and I anticipate the meal. I’ll take a few bites and I’m getting all of these delicious flavors and I feel quite satisfied. However, after a few days (or a few bites in this metaphor), my palate becomes fatigued and I become quite bored with the meal. I’ve been here many times and, overall, have had enjoyed my experiences. After COVID, it’s been really hot or miss down here with me. For example, I stayed at an Airbnb and the hostess made delicious sancocho specially for me, which I found to be so gracious as well as delicious. Like soul nourishingly good. Met some really great and genuine people. For anything longer than a week, I really need a more dynamic environment.
@@plowthorIf you stay in the same place with the same people, yes. If you go out and meet the people and visit other places you’ll always have something to do. I’m Dominican (born and raised there) and I still have a LONG list of places I want to visit; I don’t know 80% of my country yet.
Great video and very useful information. Thanks.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Thank you for doing this update. Prices have been going up everywhere... Even in the DR.
Yep, no-where is left alone, it's more a matter of fighting this BS from where-ever we are! Thanks for watching! Brgds, Mr.T
Positive feedback about the Dominican republic always from Mr T. Great job

Thanks for the great info Mr T. Maybe you can touch on the places in the area to buy cigars next time? Cheers!!
Thanks for watching and your suggestion - I'll keep it in mind, cheers! Brgds, Mr.T
Cigar Club at entrance of road to Playa Sosua. On Pedro Clisante.
Funny that a US25 hotel room looks more appealing than a US$95 over-decorated "disco light" hotel room
this is very helpful and informative and all i can say is EXPENSIVE knowing its not even the capital city hehehe love from Philippines..
Thanks for watching + commenting! Brgds, Mr.T :)

car rental - what about insurance?
Car insurance plans are mentioned in the section "Insurance". Thanks for watching!
thx, I saw that after I posted the question, but what I meant was how the rental deals with insurance
Have you heard about casa de campo. Thinking of staying there October-November
More expensive area - yet check it out! Brgds, Mr.T
Where can I find the info for the villas ?
nc-facility.com/sosua/

I’m in Cabarete right now. Wow, I don’t know how people live here full time. But respect to those who do. Love your content, Mr. T.
Can i ask why do you say respect for people who live there if you don't mind...no disrespect just wanted to know

Can you do a detailed video like this for Punta Cana?
Punts Cana? Really? Aren’t there already enough fluff pieces on RUclips about that place?
Sure, please send me 10K and I'll get a team together to travel to the other side of the Island asap! 🙂
@@EducatedTravelerI don’t think people realize how far apart places are in the island. It just looks small in the map!
