  • The Dominican Republic attracts expats from all over the world, for both vacation and relocation reasons. Apart from the nice tropical ambiance and paradise living, many expats face quite a few challenges here, and this can sometimes make their paradise look a bit dimmer OR if they learn from these challenges, it can make them wiser and happier people in the end of the day. In this video, I'll interview a few long-term expats who will share both their most challenging and their most positive experiences - So Let's get started!

Great video Mr T. I have to agree with that first Gentleman you interviewed. I am not diminishing anyone’s challenges, but if those are the challenges then it’s great to live there in the Dominican Republic. I will repeat . People don’t try to change the DR to were you came from. The DR may not be perfect for some, for me it is. If the Dominican citizens want a change they will change it; but I suspect they won’t. Thanks for sharing Mr T.

How safe is Sosua? I heard it's not the safest city, but would love to hear from someone living there. I'm a woman thinking of buying a vacation home in the DR.
