    My favorite GT3 car since it's debut at Daytona in 2017 and it still doesn't have an "Evo" variant, I love it! This is to be considered the Lister Storm of Modern GT3, because of how old it is compared to the other GT3 cars, which at the time, the Lister raced for 13 years. This Lexus is at it's 7th year now! 🥳

    Just a bit correction, Lexus use 5400cc version of 2UR-GSE engine (increased bore size to achieve more power, 472 ps stock vs over 540 ps on race spec)

    That Lexus is a lot throat-ier and deeper sounding than I expected! Still some great sounds!'Guess I'm used to the LFA 😅

    It seems to me that Toyota is using the RCF GT3 to save some entry spots for the upcoming Toyota/Lexus GT3 car. With that being said, the RCF ran pretty well in IMSA, yet i’m somewhat still curious to see if these RCFs could keep up with the latest GT3 machineries from other manufacturers in WEC.

      RCF in the LMGT3 2024 won some solid spots, this old machine is a marvel. Debuted in 2014 and still racing with a bore out on 2UR-GSE 5.4L version.

      Yes, in IMSA, Lexus still very competitive although the oldest GT3 spec (last update from 2018)

    Very difficult to tune these for sound, given racing rules. Are they running restrictors? Noise limits? Running an ISF on the street in the US and very easy to make power, but they can get pretty loud. Might be why they were banned in Euro GT.

      The do have a power restrictor and an exhaust muffler.

    If you blind folded me and said what car. I'd immediately say AMG GT. Not the sort of sound I'd expect from a Lexus

    Yeah but its not going to race in a European series, otherwise we'd see a GTR, which was banned from European racing too, since they complained they only want to race against European manufacturers.

      i am fairly certain Nissan gave up on the GT-R GT3 long ago [not in Super GT, but everywhere else]
