This was all kmt needs to be John! No pressure to do deep dives every week. Quick 5 minute videos done dirty are just as cool.
True!
"Rule of 'Pi'" how intellectually honest of you.
Loving my *NorseMen (Implied plural form of 'NorseMan' in 'Canadadian').
What a labor of joy!
π never ends my friend
Those tombstones are terrific. They have the Full Grismo look too.
watching your videos from the beginning of time. I never heard of cnc but you made me fascinated and I've succsessfully changed industry from chef to cnc programmer/operator. It's awesome!
Great video. Man John you aren’t kidding. I make custom boat parts and as you know the fixturing is a reflection of your finished parts. The better the fixture the better the part. I have never purchased one of your knives but I am definitely going to check out the one piece handle when it becomes available. Beautiful looking part. Thanks for sharing😊
Very exciting, congrats 😊
One of these will be mine! Really nice utilitarian blade shape and love the integral handle
Awesome the brother is finally hooked up!
It's a winner of a design. Hope it gives you good returns.
"Super Awesome!"
Interesting, keep it up.
Awesome
real impressive work, and huge thanks to you, your content got me to build a 5 axis mill myself😂
Brother, this is very cool! I envy you with white envy!
Speedy update. Thanks.
If the integral is a sub three inch blade, I'd be in the market - I work where anything longer than 3" is considered a "weapon"...Edit: and there it is, 3" blade. Color me interested. :)
I want one or two or three. ❤❤❤😊
This is literally my dream knife! Can't wait!
Now I want some pie...
New model name? And when/how can we start putting orders in? 😊
I know if you ask you can not afford it but have you a price point for the new knife?
Not many buisness owners will admit the pie method of things taking longer.
I have a question: In a number of of your videos you mention how you want folks to actually use your knives, and not just “collect them and look at them now and again”.
I understand you thinking this because they are your knives AND you end up using them, of course. BUT do you think that is the same investment as a customer who doesn’t make your product.
Let me put it this way: if right now, you go out and buy a Sirogorov knife for $1040-$1125, would you use it the same way you use the Norseman that is in your pocket???
Would you toss that Shiro. in you pocket with your pens or pull it out and use it the same carefree way as the Norsman or Rask you have in you pocket now?????
I am just trying to explain and lay out reality.
With a product that expensive, I think it is an appropriate question.
Thanks for great product and content.
Are you still going to use a budget steel like 154 and keep those high prices? Or are you going to do right and use a high wear steel and heat treat it properly? Or heck use magnacut at 63rc with ln2.
Why is 154pm budget steel? Or RWL34?
@@TSyrjalaknives since your asking the question, should I assume your knowledge on this subject is low or very basic?
@@tacticalcenter8658 I'm also interested. Why do you think that's a budget steel?
@@tacticalcenter8658 I am not very knowledgable with steel alloys specifically for knife making, especially high end ones made specifically for the purpose. Explain your claim please.
@@tacticalcenter8658 you might be suprised about my knowledge. But its not the case now. Both cpm154 and RWL34 are high end powder metalurgy made steels. And price / kg is near the same as vanax/elmax/m390 you name it. Also properties, when made in to a knife blade and heatreated properly, are one of the best in market at the moment.
Hey John...have you considered raising the Speedio by 2 inches... Much simpler than redoing all of you fixtures or modifying the doors...just sayin'... 🙂
4:08 dude, you look tired, sleep a little.
With all that R&D you could probably do a lot of consulting and teaching. In a way you're doing that right here already. Interesting to watch your process over the years.
Now that the economy is slowing down are you worried about not as many people buying 1k pocket knives?
His knives are not worth that much.
I'm down to give you some money right now, simply for the fact that you're not pronouncing it wrong. plus im kinda a knife content dude
Can you CNC an axe blade so Canada can axe the tax? Can’t imagine what your carbon tax bill is with all those machines. Trudeau is not worth the cost
