Is it just me or am I thinking FullyCharged will be bigger than TopGear and the Grand Tour by 2022 ? All I can say is the presenting is top class, Jonny knows when to apply humour and drop the facts. Nothing worse than someone trying to be funny, none of that here. Well done guys.
That's a very kind comment, thank you. For starters the Grand Tour is over, they are not making any more. Top Gear will continue I'm sure, but as to whether Fully Charged can compete with a massive organisation like the BBC, I think we've got a long way to go yet. That said we are experiencing incredible growth, we are just struggling to keep up with everything.
fullychargedshow love your channel and great quality but The Grand Tour is not over at all, these rumours there denied by J.Clarkson himself on Twitter.
BBC is dying with all the SJW and divershitty stuff ! There are also other big competitors "cars" channels like matt watson and his carvow, doug demuro, the straightpipes, jay leno, ...
They are splitting it into episodes, because a lot of people complained that watching 45 minute long shows was too time consuming. I don't mind that, I usually need to go to the bathroom after 30 minutes anyway haha.
There were a few EV concepts and production cars that caught my attention. As a Tesla fan, this warms my heart, because the point of the company is to get the industry moving forward on electricity and expanding the possible. Some of those interiors, were giving me scifi vibes, but in the best way possible. I loved the compact more affordable city cars and scooters, because let's face it, most of what is there 99% of the population will not be in the market for and yet why should they be left out of good design and cool tech when they are also closer to the negative affects of pollution in their environment. This gives me hope and excitement for the future and this is only part 1. Great job Johnny!
Great review Jonny, What on earth is wrong with Ford? are they going to be dragging their feet to the bitter end regards BEV's! They should be a world leader at this point in time instead of seemingly hoping EV's will disappear.
I've owned a few Ford vehicles over the years mostly because I've generally had good experiences with them including my current Fusion Hybrid. Funny thing was I was watching this video and wondering, like others, when Ford would come out with an EV car. LOL. Then while reading this comment it dawned on me that we have been leasing a Focus EV for the past year. It's actually a fine little vehicle for our purposes, but I get it, it's really an afterthought in terms of where EV technology is these days.
They never cared about their Focus EV it was only made to meet California rules. They also have problems getting their cars made without defects. My 2012 Focus has "transmission shudder" which my dealer tried to tell me was "just learning how you drive", which was total b.s. Ford even sent out a memo to dealers to tell them to stop telling customers "it's just learning how you drive" when it was a defect in the transmission design, input shaft seals were crap which allowed fluid where it shouldn't be. Other customers have told me they also had their Clutch Packs replaced in the Dual clutch tranny because they were told "the part was revised". I still have to get it fixed because another Ford dealer when I asked for an appointment to fix that, said they were "so busy during the month of June". I had way better experience with my 2002 Honda Civic and the local Honda dealer ALWAYS took you seriously and fixed your car in a reasonable time. The only issue my Civic had which Honda knew about, was a flawed manufacturing of the ECU which had a crap coating on the circuit board, after 60k or 4 years, the coating would wear off and cause the chips not to have contact with the circuit board. They never did a recall this was before govt started cracking down on these kinds of things so I had to pay $995 USD to get a new one installed, but it solved all my issues. The car was so quiet at 110k miles you forgot you already started it without looking at the dash.
What about the unthinkable..Ford & Tesla work together. Maybe not so left field, gives Tesla production facilities, supercharger at every sales and service outlets, but it gives Ford a lot more, EV credibility, leap fogging GM, EV Trucks & EV sports cars. A marriage made in heaven or Runaway bride?
I must admit, i wasn't really a fan of Johnny when he first came to Fully Charged, but he has changed my mind, ihe has a great relaxed presentation style. Keep up the great work guys
I've only just watched a little over halve this video and already its my favorite video from the Geneva show 2018 because its showing many of the concepts and future vehicles no one else shows, great video, nice job!
what a blow in the face for jaguar, "we have the first EV suv, but it is not ready for sale yet", and then 2 min later "hyundai: we have the first EV SUV in production, you can by it now" !
I am a great fan of Jonny's clarity and his transparency about his opinions. Besides: Full autonomy is something for the test lane. You have old roads with washed out lines, roads on repair etc that would make the full autonomous car become a road obstacles.
Really good host/presenter (and filming too). The gimbal/stabilizer thingy makes it feel like if Lubezki had shot Blade runner 2049 instead of Roger Deakins ahah (14:50) This makes me curious to see what actually ends up driving around town in 3-5 years.
As a long time F1 fan, I think that the new Formula-E car looks amazing! I love how awesome it looks now, it's almost like the imaginary concepts that we used to have for F1 cars
This is where Jonny shines like a star in the sky; in-depth car knowledge (y) Excellent presentation, great video production from the 2 guys I wasn't able to remember their names :D
Great review of the motor show. Fully charged should be on TV, the general public need to be informed of what's going on with renewable energy and EVs.
0:14 the reaction of the two people behind you. "Wait. Don't move. There's a guy with a camera ahead of us. What do we do? Stand here and stare. Are they gone? No. Ok. Is it safe to go up the escalator? I think so." :)
The whole point of having a car that can do 0-60 in 3.5 sec ist driving it. Fully autonomous cars may have their place, but what they don´t need is sportscar performance. Only messes up the champagne...
That autonomous car hit a pedestrian trying to cross the street outside of a sidewalk in pretty much dark conditions. I've seen other systems where they can detect animals and humans walking along, I'm not sure what system they were using. The Human driver was not paying attention looking down at whatever he was reading.
Simple, autonomy isn't smart enough not to run someone over to be released. Different companies use different systems that are dumber then the next guy. Until it can be proven to recognize a human being without running them over, nobody is going to want one. Who will be at fault, the human or the computer when you hit someone? You could have read between the lines about autonomous cars instead of acting like you had no idea what I was saying, yawn.
Talking about reading between the lines, my whole point was, that even before autonomous cars become normal they start combining that technology with ridiculous performance aspirations. I don´t want an autonomous vehicle, but I do see them becoming the future of cars and on average they will drive safer than humans - not sure about the liability part though.
Thanks Johnny another great car show review. Love the Rimac and the beachbuggy. Who could have forseen the breadth of the EV revolution 6 yrs ago when the Model S launched. So many interesting possibilities.
The pancake in-wheel motor is of course a cool concept. The problem has always been that in everyday driving the motor gets shook to bits as it is in the wheel and receiving every bang from every pothole. From the video, it looks like they have immersed the motor in rubber shock-mount. If this improves the life of the motor by protecting it, I could see it being influential.
Excellent presentation, Jonny, you certainly know how to present. Looking forwards to the next part.... I hope that amongst all the swish stuff there will be a glimmer of the new Aygo EV?
Try saying hi to 16 Japanese students checking out the private school you work in. I said it in Japanese and all of them bowed at me in unison and was surprised I even know how to say HI in Japanese. :)
unfortunately this is the way technology works. enough expensive cars have to be purchased so technology development pays for itself before it becomes cheaper. i am waiting too. driving gas car and waiting for next generation ev's .
Impressed with Fomm, If you think about the amount of local commuting is done on scooters and motor rickshaws, the extent which those cities using those vehicles are developing, and are polluted
Brilliant! I share so many of Jonny's views. I own a model S and I'm also not that fussed about the outside of the Model X. And I love driving so I'm also not that fussed about full autonomy unless I'm drunk or tired!! Ditto with not being that much of a fan of Formula 1 either. Great video though, and that Rimac C2 is fabulous!
When you found out most of your friends are "ANTI ELECTRIC", "GASSOLINE FOR LIFE" guys and you lose them by subscribing to this channel! Best decision ever!!!
It’s interesting isn’t it, I think we’re more interested in the fun quirky EV’s over the lux ones. It’s a great time to reset our transport goals. Oh and Emoke is a bit too close to Evoke ha.
I love that Polestar's design too! They just need to ditch the ICE... I'm most excited about the Kona though; it's a real-world-practical EV that's such a "normal" car I think that will appeal to many.
This Vid., is one of the few that show us all the other side of the motor show. Its not all about super cars, yes they are nice to see, but move on let us see what the car manufactures are up to including new manufactures. Thanks for a great vid and for all new cars we never see.
Sign me up for the eMoke and the eRod. Very, very cool design. Great to see so many motoring companies investing in electric. Shame Ford are behind the 8Ball. Love that there are a lot of variants becoming available. Hope to see availability in The Land Down Under soon. Tried to buy a Fully Electric VW and then a Kia here and the salesmen are not interested. Dealerships just won’t return your call. Once again, stunning presenting and camera work Johnny and Mark. Fantastic editing too. Will keep hitting refresh on RUclips for the iPace ep coming up soon hopefully. Well done team.
Electric cars yes.. A few crazy design concept cars? Some of them not at all my personal cup of tea. But thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable wonderful and once again very well done episode! Keep up the good work.. thumbs up. PS please do keep the crazy concept cars coming as well..
What a wonderful place to be :) Hope you are going to arrange little drive with the Rimac automobile . They will be more than happy to see you Jonny . Think only over £1900hp ...
It's a good job that I often have "Kripparian" as background noise, he's ensured I'm fully stocked with 'salt' to take with these concept's. Thanks Jonny n' all :)
Slick - to the point - no BS - touch of humour too Jonny!! Top Class - without doubt my go-to Car Show Guide with a brain... I reckon you are good... even in the event of AI journos Jonny... others... not so much.
It's always great to see a new video like this, packed with cool stuff. To Jonny, I'm just wondering, when you were exploring the whole place, did you see any new awful diesels? I'm just curious to see if there's any sign that they are actually being phased out and banned, I keep hearing that a lot of manufacturers are doing it but I was very sceptical because of what VW are doing. The Fomm stuff looks great, I hope those come to the UK and I really like the look and idea of the Polestar, wicked name too. I'm all for hydrogen fuel cell technology on its own or mixed with tidy batteries, not the crap ones like they've got now but that Kona, you can't see out of it and there's no steering wheel so if something did go wrong, you'd be stuck in there. "You could even have a fish tank in there... if it was Humane" hahaa, is Jonny vegan? =P The Kite looks awesome, that'll be great fun but how heavy is the jet ski part? if it's heavy, it'll be a bit of pain in the ass to reattach it to the car. The Rimac is so bad ass.
The Ford dealer around here the lots are pretty much empty of buyers, there's only 2 sales guys and ther spending all their time on the phone or computer. Unless you need a truck to haul something, but I would go with a Chevy Silverado. I like the Dodge Ram trucks but after the quality issues I'm not sure if that would be a brand I would be into.

lol "IED" stands also for "Improvised Explosive Device"...... i guess no veterans gonna buy THAT car lol :D
agreed with your observations on the polestar 1 (apart from the odd name). on one hand you have a good looking car like that, on the other you have the bmw i3 .....
As we get told at York Racecourse when it’s that good the smaller issues become the big issues so for tesler they need to look at the seas maybe subcontract them to someone else. Concept one Hand throttle is like a steam ensign regulator The change battery 2mins means you can have a 2nd charged say leave at work or fiends or even in shop hand over urs and get a fully charged one
This is what a motorshow overview should be. Short overviews and spec's of all the coolest stuff. Great job guys
Yeah none of that "Hey look at the hot booth babes", I prefer a more classy booth babe anyway like that lady from Croatia with the long flowing dress.
Is it just me or am I thinking FullyCharged will be bigger than TopGear and the Grand Tour by 2022 ? All I can say is the presenting is top class, Jonny knows when to apply humour and drop the facts. Nothing worse than someone trying to be funny, none of that here. Well done guys.

fullychargedshow jeez dont spread daily mail/the sun crap pls...
Talking about cars! Unlike other show's! And massarging celebs ego's! Keep up the good work!
BBC is dying with all the SJW and divershitty stuff ! There are also other big competitors "cars" channels like matt watson and his carvow, doug demuro, the straightpipes, jay leno, ...
20:14 minutes and I wanted more. Well done Jonny, thoroughly loved this episode.
Jonny is an excellent addition to the fullycharged team.
It is only part1, so expect more.
My thoughts exactly!
I was sad when it ended LOL! Maybe he'll find some trucks and vans in part 2? EV-RVs (=
They are splitting it into episodes, because a lot of people complained that watching 45 minute long shows was too time consuming. I don't mind that, I usually need to go to the bathroom after 30 minutes anyway haha.

Great job Johnny!
That's a relief! I can't wait for part 2~
And the average person can't afford, and they well end up in some rich assholes hands, or Jay Lino's collection!!
im a Tesla fan
LOL Johnny's side eye at the guy in the model 3 on his phone.
Another fine piece of presenting by Mr Smith. Nice camera work too!
Love how this channel has gone from 100k and less with a more of an enthusiast vibe to it becoming mainstream now, its now cool to like electric cars.
Love the fact that he's actually a 'car guy' first, but also a geek. He's the perfect host for FC, under the austere tutelage of Kryton.
Great host, great stuff.
So true. Camera work is amazing
did he use to work for 5th gear?
Jonny Smith is so awesome. I am thankful that he is a part of the Fully Charged team.
Fantastic job from the fully charged team. The camera, sound and editing was all top notch.
Great review Jonny, What on earth is wrong with Ford? are they going to be dragging their feet to the bitter end regards BEV's! They should be a world leader at this point in time instead of seemingly hoping EV's will disappear.
I know right...I'm hoping somebody else will get my attention before tesla invites me to buy a model 3
I've owned a few Ford vehicles over the years mostly because I've generally had good experiences with them including my current Fusion Hybrid. If Ford doesn't wake up they will end up as just a truck maker.
What about the unthinkable..Ford & Tesla work together. Maybe not so left field, gives Tesla production facilities, supercharger at every sales and service outlets, but it gives Ford a lot more, EV credibility, leap fogging GM, EV Trucks & EV sports cars.

I was in dreamworld watching the show. It was a great production . Loved it .Well done Johnny.
I've only just watched a little over halve this video and already its my favorite video from the Geneva show 2018 because its showing many of the concepts and future vehicles no one else shows, great video, nice job!
0-60 in 3.5 seconds
AND it has a bed
I can't see those two facts being compatible
I don't think the fish tank would be a good idea, either.
Why would you want your car going 0-60 in 3.5s, when you can't drive it on your own?😒😂
Recipe for internal chaos.
“That’s what she said!” 😳
Great show as always. After seeing the normal press coverage from the show its great to finish off with the perspective I really care about.
Nice to have Jonny on this show. Thanks for a great video.
what a blow in the face for jaguar, "we have the first EV suv, but it is not ready for sale yet", and then 2 min later "hyundai: we have the first EV SUV in production, you can by it now" !
isnt tesla X the first EV SUV anyways? :S like wtf
Jaguar said it's the first compact SUV (crossover)
H I E U N D I E
model x is a spacecraft not suv. that was the car they should send to space not model s. it looks proper for space
I am a great fan of Jonny's clarity and his transparency about his opinions.
Besides: Full autonomy is something for the test lane. You have old roads with washed out lines, roads on repair etc that would make the full autonomous car become a road obstacles.
Always impressed with the production quality of this show. Bravo on the e-updates. Cheers!
Makes me miss living in Germany, you could just hop on a train and be in Switzerland in no time.
8:23 That FOMM scooter looks really good.
It does. On the other hand that mini car is absolutely hideous.
And, if it actually works, of immediate use to anyone commuting through a big city. Looks better than the bmw c650 thing.
I liked the car.
Indeed. Interesting company.
I can learn a lot from you guys. Keep up the good work! Always happy to see a new video by Fully Charged in my notifications.
The model 3 was beeping because it was in drive and the door was open. Put it in park! I get that from my girlfriend all the time at the shops
I just love watching Fully Charged...love it!
Amazing vid! I don't think I've ever been more excited about what's to come in the future of EVs. Well done Jonny
Excellent video! Twenty minutes just flew past in no time. And that Rimac... wow, that is one beautiful thing.
Really good host/presenter (and filming too). The gimbal/stabilizer thingy makes it feel like if Lubezki had shot Blade runner 2049 instead of Roger Deakins ahah (14:50)
This makes me curious to see what actually ends up driving around town in 3-5 years.
Just have to say, your camera guy is doing great work! It´s fluid, crispy and really enjoyable to watch!
As a long time F1 fan, I think that the new Formula-E car looks amazing! I love how awesome it looks now, it's almost like the imaginary concepts that we used to have for F1 cars
Adam Nair - nice name😀
I'm so ready for an Tesla Roadster and Rimac One drag race!
Perfect walk over the Geneva Motor show - thanks a lot!
This is where Jonny shines like a star in the sky; in-depth car knowledge (y)
Excellent presentation, great video production from the 2 guys I wasn't able to remember their names :D
P.S.: Come on, you really should add people of the team, in the description of each video they collaborated on. They deserve to be recognized
Bring on part 2 !
...then part 3 !
Great review of the motor show.
Fully charged should be on TV, the general public need to be informed of what's going on with renewable energy and EVs.
Great video! I am eagerly waiting for part 2 and naively hope there will be a 3 and 4 :D
Great show and I always love it when Jonny gets the look on his face with people like the guy on the phone in the Tesla. ^^
I love this channel!! Great work. Thank you all.
What Rimac has accomplished is truly inspiring.
0:14 the reaction of the two people behind you. "Wait. Don't move. There's a guy with a camera ahead of us. What do we do? Stand here and stare. Are they gone? No. Ok. Is it safe to go up the escalator? I think so." :)
That Rimac..... drool....
Great tour of the show by Mr Smith.

Are you sure you wanted to refer specifically to my comment? I can´t see the context...
Simple, autonomy isn't smart enough not to run someone over to be released. Different companies use different systems that are dumber then the next guy. Yes, I would rather drive myself and not let a computer take me off a cliff without me being able to stop it.
Thanks Johnny another great car show review. Love the Rimac and the beachbuggy. Who could have forseen the breadth of the EV revolution 6 yrs ago when the Model S launched. So many interesting possibilities.
Great video! I absolutely love auto shows. I'm looking forward to my own local auto show in October.
Great presenting and camerawork. Can't wait for part 2 :)
Jonny Smith, you are an incredible presenter. Another really great video :)
Quite exciting cars..love the show
Very exciting things happening, thanks for filming!!
The Volvo OMG!! Such a gorgeous design!
Brilliant show Johnny. really enjoyed it.
Everything is perfect in this video good job lads
Bobby and Jonny brilliant content. Thank you
THIS is what an auto show should look like. RIP NAIAS!!
Excellent presentation, Jonny, you certainly know how to present. Looking forwards to the next part.... I hope that amongst all the swish stuff there will be a glimmer of the new Aygo EV?
18:45 Love the way Jonny initially starts to bow hahahaha
Try saying hi to 16 Japanese students checking out the private school you work in. I said it in Japanese and all of them bowed at me in unison and was surprised I even know how to say HI in Japanese. :)
TekReviews He's Korean not Japanese
What's that have to do with my comment? Japanese bow too!
TekReviews Well the guy was Korean and you're talking about Japanese students?!
Beautiful video, cannot wait for part 2!
Where are all the affordable electric cars. Fed up of seeing all these cars that are £100K plus.
The Hyundai Kona is going to be pretty affordable, and that's just the start of what Hyundai have committed to.
Maybe in your world, but not to most people. Most people buy used cars don't forget.
unfortunately this is the way technology works. enough expensive cars have to be purchased so technology development pays for itself before it becomes cheaper. i am waiting too. driving gas car and waiting for next generation ev's .

When you found out most of your friends are "ANTI ELECTRIC", "GASSOLINE FOR LIFE" guys and you lose them by subscribing to this channel! Best decision ever!!!
Bravo to the cam operator!
The Kona looks incredible!
Wow Wow Wow! Top marks for a great show
It’s interesting isn’t it, I think we’re more interested in the fun quirky EV’s over the lux ones. It’s a great time to reset our transport goals. Oh and Emoke is a bit too close to Evoke ha.
Great review Johnny thanks.
IED is an unfortunate choice of name. 'Improvised Explosive Device'.
Thanks for the video Johnny.
I love that Polestar's design too! They just need to ditch the ICE... I'm most excited about the Kona though; it's a real-world-practical EV that's such a "normal" car I think that will appeal to many.
Well done and thanks for this video reporting. Youre a good presenter!!
Well done Jonny great job as usual!
Sugar for the end!!! Hello from Croatia.
This Vid., is one of the few that show us all the other side of the motor show. Its not all about super cars, yes they are nice to see, but move on let us see what the car manufactures are up to including new manufactures. Thanks for a great vid and for all new cars we never see.
great show Jonny! Love all your videos
Just hope the Honda Urban gets a look in👍
Nice information packed video! Well done!

We need part 2 immediately!
...and part 3 right now!
That beach buggy jet ski thingy...
Fantastic shows what can be done if we really put ours minds to it. Loved it all .
the polestar seems to be borrowing form the P1800 coup. Nice design!
Love his style of presenting. And introducing the camera man, top man!
In-wheel motors really open the door for retrofitting conversions for existing ICE vehicles.
What a wonderful place to be :)
Hope you are going to arrange little drive with the Rimac automobile .
They will be more than happy to see you Jonny .
Think only over £1900hp ...
IED seems to be blowing the competition up this year lol
Great coverage!
Frickin putz, sittning in tesla and gurglin on the phone
Rune Njordhag Maybe he was ringing Tesla to find out what the beeping was
Hey, if you put a fish tank in you can use the water emitted to keep refilling after it sploshes all around your car.
It's a good job that I often have "Kripparian" as background noise, he's ensured I'm fully stocked with 'salt' to take with these concept's.
Thanks Jonny n' all :)
I love that Rimac. Thanks.
Not since a long time have we been dreaming wildly toward to an amazing new future.
EXCELLENT episode 😇

The Kite looks awesome, that'll be great fun but how heavy is the jet ski part? if it's heavy, it'll be a bit of pain in the ass to reattach it to the car. The Rimac is so bad ass.
I'm really not a fan of hyundai but damn that kona is gonna sell if the price is right! 😲👍

"I have old sheet in my back pocket" HAHAHAHAHA 😂😂😂
Ford came to the party but they didn't bring any BEVvies? That's just bad manners.
They were just taking the pisstons.
Ohmy God!
It's like they're saying, "You're better off buying our engines rather than our cars."
Ha ha ha
The Ford dealer around here the lots are pretty much empty of buyers, there's only 2 sales guys and ther spending all their time on the phone or computer. Unless you need a truck to haul something, but I would go with a Chevy Silverado. I like the Dodge Ram trucks but after the quality issues I'm not sure if that would be a brand I would be into.
lol "IED" stands also for "Improvised Explosive Device"...... i guess no veterans gonna buy THAT car lol :D
Yo bro dat cars da bomb man...............ok ill get my coat ....hehe
Very nice. Sharp looking cars
agreed with your observations on the polestar 1 (apart from the odd name). on one hand you have a good looking car like that, on the other you have the bmw i3 .....
Rimac is unbelievable!!
As we get told at York Racecourse when it’s that good the smaller issues become the big issues so for tesler they need to look at the seas maybe subcontract them to someone else.
Concept one Hand throttle is like a steam ensign regulator
The change battery 2mins means you can have a 2nd charged say leave at work or fiends or even in shop hand over urs and get a fully charged one
