@Antares X with that much aero and such clever suspension I'm fairly certain it's a little more then a straight line hero. Just because it can go fast in a straight line doesn't mean it's all it can do.
@kickdje That's fine but the point, (looking at this objectively) is that they had a good showing and that's why they were given positive reception, not just fanboyism. For instance, I am not crazy about Lamborghini but objectively speaking I see that they're making incredible cars with Performante and SVJ, even if personally they're not my cup of tea.
If you're a fan of Bugatti and not a child then you're also a fan of Koenigsegg and vice versa. If you like one you should be able to respect the massive amount of engineering that went into the other.
I love Bugattis because they are the top of the mountain in terms of hypercar engineering. Chris Harris did a review of the Chiron. He got the Chiron up to 250mph on a airport runway and at 250 mph, he was holding the steering wheel with one hand!! All other cars the steering wheel would be shaking like crazy. The Bugatti is the best in terms of mixing luxury feel with hypercar performance. But i do have a lot of respect for Koenigsegg in terms of the engineering they also do for their cars and the fact that everything on their cars, right down to the side reflecters is made in their factory.
Seriously the best cars in the world. They keep getting shut down by corrupt Ferrari and Porsche. Prevented them recording a lap time at the 'ring etc.
I never stop being amazed by Koenigsegg...the most innovative hypercar brand of them all. It's truly awe-inspiring how they outdo themselves with each new model.

If you're going to build your first road car, even as a fairly well know race car maker, at least make it look half decent. The looks are a big part of what makes people want to buy peformance or sports cars in that class. Especially as that market area is a complete jungle. Tou really ned something eye-catching, in a positive way to bring to the table. Hope this doesn't bankrupt Ginetta. We have already seen Lola join the race car engineers graveyard a few years ago.

That is the truth regarding the cost of Bugatti. Koenigsegg is having good engine that is big with a huge power beating all the cars on the street. Austin Martin has an impressive jump in their development.
But that Bugatti gonna appreciate in value its a 11 million investment that will make money in the future. like he said its not a car but a moving sculpture with 8.0 L W16. Bugatti need to recoup all the lost and investment in the Veyron Project. Because the regular Chiron itself although isn't sell to a loss like Veyron it's still hardly making money

That is the truth regarding the cost of Bugatti. Koenigsegg is having good engine that is big with a huge power beating all the cars on the street. Austin Martin has an impressive jump in their development.
But that Bugatti gonna appreciate in value its a 11 million investment that will make money in the future. like he said its not a car but a moving sculpture with 8.0 L W16. Bugatti need to recoup all the lost and investment in the Veyron Project. Because the regular Chiron itself although isn't sell to a loss like Veyron it's still hardly making money

The only thing linking this car to the original is the paint. Why is it wrong to say that this car is stupid, no better than a Chiron as it will never be driven to 10% of its potential if it’s ever driven at all and WAY over priced. For that price can buy a business jet and have money left over to learn to fly it.
