Interesting idea, the statement that the same events are going to happen implies that there will be no RNG on events the only thing that can change the outcome is the players choices, so with the sword in the troll the approach would have to change for the outcome to change, I think I prefer that over hoping that the RNG swings in your favor and potentially requiring chance to go in your favor to have a favorable run.
Oh ok watching further we see examples of some changes based on chance so each run is affected by RNG...boo.
