My only concern is replicating the feeling of getting the first automaton. It was a huge part of what I liked about the first game and I'm not sure how these changes will capture that same awe.
@@shizzel65 it wont be the same as getting that automaton, because frostpunk 1 is extremly micro, frostpunk 2 is macro, but but they do an amaizing job with music and the atmosphere aswell as the new side of the game of politics, and there probably will be something as cool as getting an automaton, i.e getting the infinite source of fuel or fighting for hours and finnaly getting infinite food ect ect, and since we havent seen the full game i presume that there will be some cool toys to unlock since the research trees look masive.
was such a disappointment doesn't feel the same . they obviously rushed this out of the door to meet a deadline, with a bit more polish it could have been great. The snow doesn't even retreat like it did in the first, there are no colonists walking through the snow like the first, it is all the little visual things that it is missing that disappoints me.
Can't wait to actually play the FULL release on tuesday. One thing I learned from the beta was FrostBreak as much as you can at the start, BEFORE you use your workforce for actual Districts because once you have many Districts you will not have the workforce to actually frostbreak more territory
Civ7 is also aiming for a macro focus. New trend in strategy/simulation games? 🫂➡🏙 2:39 Intro cinematic. 🏤🧊 5:23 Prologue: The Wanderers. 🚂🏔 12:52 Black gold. 🛢 20:35 Hope that's not in the final build... 🖥
you couldve just named it Frostpunk:blablabla .... instead of Frostpunk 2 wich made it seem you actually expand on the concepts and felling of the first one but no. NAme it FP2 so people buy it without knowing that you decided to make a completely different game and didnt even distinguish in the title enough. A direct sequel is not like this it has no soul at all, the first one was a passion project and it shows this is just corporate cashgrab with an unoptimized UE5 engine aswell, people getting barely 60fps on insane 4090 rigs........ First one a Masterpiece but this has no soul at all. More like SIm City with the same level of dread aswell, none, thanks for that.
Every Gamer need to be AMD x3d. Cohh with his external streaming machine make it even better for him. He should get the next AMD 9950x3d and drop the rubbish intel cpus
Re: the crashing. Intel has admitted it. So, not so much 2 camps anymore. The new microcode updates(BIOS updates) "Should" fix it now. but ONLY if your CPU hasn't been affected. If it IS affected. It's done. Just a matter of when.
Anyone experiencing crashes with Intel 13th and 14th gen CPUs should just send them in for RMA immediately, don't wait and see, just ship that thing in and get a new one and hope to god the bios updates actually do prevent new chips dying. I lucked out and went AMD despite always going Intel in the past, but if I was still running Intel in these newest gens I would be shipping mine in first time I saw BSOD/repeat crashing.
I recently downgraded to an intel 12th gen, I have had zero issues since doing that, no more random crashes or freezes, Highly recommend anyone with a 13/14th gen intel cpu, and having constant issues, to just downgrade to a 12th gen. You won't regret it.
Don't think the console version (specifically ps5) of frostpunk 2 is coming out soon, so I wanted to say thank you for playing a game that's so wonderful
@@Mr.DalekLK You may want to check out Poland’s location. It is part of the EU and considered part of the “west”. It has Russian or “eastern” influences but it is fully considered a western country.
It's so disappointing the direction they took this into. One of the coolest thing about the first one was the immersive factor of being able to see all the individual people going about their work and lives. By taking the graphical presentation into a macro direction they took away one of the most compelling things about the first game. This could have been something like Manor Lords in a frozen dystopia, but now it's just another strategy management game.
Considering how the tutorial screen was written (referring specifically to Wanderers, which I believe is a unique citizen group for that settlement), that might just be flavour for the prologue; and then the proper scenarios still use Heatstamps, since that's specifically the currency of New London. If not, well it is kind of annoying, but only a small detail at the end of the day.
Remember Cohh, the children yearn for the mines.

tbf, it would be warm in the mines, we are doing them a favor.
Wow a twenty year old cat?! That’s rare! And a testament to how well cared for he is
The City Must Not Fall
The cities must survive
This looks like a really awesome direction over the first game, excited for this one.
Looks completely different to the first which is great, a franchise should take risks and innovate

Loved the first one!
Been looking forward to this game forever. I just bought the delux edition so I could play it a few days early even which I rarely do.
Thanks for the tip on the first Frostpunk... :)

Definitely on my top 5 games
Stay Frosty!!!
For me the world of Frostpunk is more fascinating the gameplay for it is.
Funny how cohh is kinda rushed :p it says what to do in the descriptions but he skips parts then asks questions how right after :p love it ! haha
Standard ADHD cohh behaviour 😁
map art looks very nice

You know, that first cutscene gives me Diablo 2 vibes... And that's a good thing.
I hope the story will be good.
As an intel lover. I did end up going AMD myself due to their current issues. I went with a 7950X3D
Oh that looks beautiful.

I've been looking forward to this since it got announced. Love that you got a sneak peek.
some one needs to tell him to get Intels XTU for his 14 gen. I no longer crash now that I use it.
There doesnt seem to be an any key...Classic Homer
Thanks, for me this game is too ❄️❄️
Frostpunk being 3d would be epic. The atmospheric vibe is unreal.
The Frostpunk intro was uuuhh... Different lol

why rename it "scraps"... ugh. Heatstamps was a unique name, felt like this dystopian society made a new currency
