From punting a child at a mall to sending 98 children into a mine and then suffocating them to death, I'd say Bricky has stepped up his game, alright. Let's see if New London can bring out the full Night Lord within him by the end of the story.
@@digitalscott7732 At Main Place Mall, in Santa Ana, California, about 12 years ago. On a Friday afternoon when the mall was packed and there were a bunch of children running around, bricky somehow managed to trip over a child and when sticking out his leg to catch himself, managed to kick the child in the face. He gleefully send the kids to the minds. When the time came to decided what was more important, he chose coal with a smile. When the consequences of his actions were revealed, he was shocked and shaken at his own acts of cruelty. That is quite the character arc.

Dear Brickmister, please continue this series! I really enjoy watching you play this as I suck at these kinds of games myself and your commentary makes it interesting 😊
i just try it today. just wow a lot of new thing to learn. you even need to build outpost yourself and oh boy. i wish i pay more attention on scout tech. it super important. i just start researching oil when my coal already run out and that not good for my city.
I only have 2 things to say after seeing this, that im reinstalling the 1st game right now and...... the Night Lords KNOW the children yearn for the mines. Thats all
This kinda makes me want a 40k game that has you play as a planetary governer managing a hive city through potential demon incursions, genestealer cults and the ever present demands of the imperial tithe.
i love how this game has some very clearly better choices thne others in gameplay like sending the elderly out has absolutely no downsides gameplay wise, but instead its moral weight, will you let capable people potentially starve by housing useless elders that even ask to be sent out to their death, or will you risk it all to feel abit better about youself.
Something I've noticed is that the little notes where you get a warning about lack of regulation with something preludes an event if you don't act. Between the child gangs event and this, Bricky's really doing his best to make this generation the last.
MINOR SPOILERS AHEAD I have not finished the video, but I'm really curious if sparing the seals means that now there will be a source of food at the dreadnaught city. I didn't spare them, and so I had to import all of their food.
This makes me yearn for a 40k worldbuilder where you have to manage and govern an imperial planet or system, possibly a forge world, where you have to develop the world pay the imperial tithe in different ways and if you fail, you get exterminadused
Ok hear me out. I want a great crusade version of this. Let us try and take over the galaxy and manage various aliens and petty issues of the primarchs.

This is how I know Bricky isn't ready for the Night Lords. A real Night Lord would have suffocated 2 more children just to round his score out.

10/10 for realism!

The downside is that grandma is now a popsicle for a polar bear

The notification of the old guy praising the generator gives me some serious Techpriest vibes. Pretty sure this is how the Mechanicus got started too.
Gotta feed the Generator a child sacrifice to soothe it's machine spirit.

Frostpunk: The children yearn for air
Bricky activating his child kicking instincts by sending 98 kids to perish in the mines
I'm pretty sure 40:10 to 42:00 is the definitive Frostpunk experience
Do the children yearn for the mines, or do the mines hunger for the children?
Yes
It's a symbiotic relationship
The people of New London will remember those children as the Lost Generation. Rest in heat Little Timmy.
