How I see it is, if Band-Maid can't break thru because of a language barrier, an instrumental cannot be judged for that barrier. True Love and True Music have no barriers........fact!

I witnessed this song performed in Tokyo as 12th song in the setlist and Band-Maid played it in 12 out of 13 US concerts as 8th to 11th. Most of the audience at those venues had of course already known their skills and talents. When I heard that they played this instrumental piece as opening at Saitama Super Arena on Nov.6 as support to Guns N' Roses (like they did at Aftershock), I felt very proud of them. Yeah! they showed off their skills and talents to GNR fans who did not know who the girls in maid outfit on the stage were. I felt as if I heard them screaming "Hey guys! Listen to us and open your eyes wide! We are not the persons that you think ! Salute us!" 😄 Thanks from B-M's homeland 有難う💛。

Another incredible song from Band-Maid! They and The Warning are big fans of each other and met last fall at the Aftershock festival. Great reaction BHM!

Yeah, I wouldn't call it shredding either. The lead guitar part is well worked out caring the melody and driving the whole song. The base and drums - especially the drums - are integrated with the lead guitar part. It's crazy good songwriting.

Band Maid began with the bar set rather high for a new recording act. In most bands, some players grow while others don't, or the band as a whole moves onward at an irregular pace. Band Maid -- individually, and collectively -- is constantly moving forward, expanding the scope of their work and their expertise. Technical skill, complexity of compositional structure, inter-weaving of multiple genres within a song, manipulation of mood and pacing...always expanding, gaining both depth and breadth. They are a wonderful example of a band that is a master of entertainment and artistry, who will appeal to and interest casual listeners, professional performers, and post-production people.

Nice reaction sir. These ladies know how to write an instrumental. This is probably my favorite of theirs so far. Most of their fans have been watching this video since the Unleash EP dropped in September. It was part of the bonus DVD. They release a new instrumental with every album now and usually a few instrumental versions of songs from the album that normally have vocals. There are instrumental versions of Domination, Dice, Yolo, Sense, Unleash, and the entire Unseen World album. You can hear instrumental versions of many other songs in their individual playthrough videos on BAND-MAID Prime as well.

I think everything you said about it nailed how I feel about it. I laughed a little after your first pause when you said you hadn't focused on the bass. I thought, "You will." I saw them play this live in Dallas last month and I didn't know the song, but listening to it live was majestic. If you get the chance to see them live, don't miss it. Seriously.

Many of us just recently saw Band-Maid play “From Now On” live. OMNG! Kanami riffed her ass off. And the BPM’s matched the DB's! 😶‍🌫Thx, B-Head!

It took me a while to really get into this, but now I find it a monumental piece. Totally agree with you- what did I just say! I've been following you since your first "interesting" Band-Maid reaction. Great job. They opened every show on the US tour with this song- real statement of intent.

From now on, Onset, Without holding back, Don't be long and Dawn winery theme (cover) are all instrumental Band-Maid songs and probably my favorite songs by them.
The quality of the musicians and the musicianship is absolutely phenomenal like in other japanese bands.

Once you get "used" to a Band Maid song you begin to see what they are trying to do with the music and vocals to convey emotion in the soundscapes. When there are lyrics the message is served by the music. Props to each member and the skill they bring to Kanami's compositions as well as their own touches. The sum is greater than the parts in this band.

"Yeah they killed it." My exact words after watching this the first time.
This is now my favourite instrumental. Onset is still amazing, but this is a more cohesive package, I feel. But ultimately, who cares? They're both amazing!

Vocalist Saiki had the idea of starting the concert with an instrumental song. When she got From now on, she thought now was the time. From August, it will be the opening song with a short performance of the ROCK festival. The aftershock surprised the audience, and at the end of the 30-minute live, the crowd was over 10,000.
