The thing I like about Band-Maid is that they take the music very seriously but they don't take themselves too seriously. If they are having fun, the audience is having fun, guaranteed. I've never seen any other band with smiles as big as the ones they have while playing on stage. Especially Akane.
As a musician of 56 plus years, I have seen some of the best musicians and bands in the world. I have not been to a Band-Maid Okyu-ji because of my disability. But I have been following Band-Maid and supporting them since 2014. I have seen all their live streaming and all of their Okyu-ji's Blu-ray and Dvds because I have them all. I have seen seen Queen, Deep Purple, David Bowie Stevie Ray Vaughan in 1972. "" Yes!!!!! BAND-MAID IS THE BEST.... BAND-MAID FOREVER!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🕊️🇺🇸
They are one of the best ever because they are master class musicians that write phenomenal songs. And then they don't take themselves too seriously and with no ego when onstage. They are having just as much fun as the Maidiacs at the show.
I saw Van Halen in '84, David Bowie on the Spiders from Mars tour, and REM twice. My 2 Band-Maid shows far eclipse these, and I saw them in small clubs with limited equipment and no lasers or screens like in Japan.
That was a Jam....never heard it before !!!!! They are the best live.....they make you feel like they invited you to their practice facility and wanna have fun with you !!!!
Start Over was I think a bigger surprise, there were more than a few gasps from the audience when the piano intro started. It's a song I hadn't seen a live version of before, I love the song and it was brilliantly performed.
@@dazedandconfused318 Oh yeah you're right. i think those surprises & all the unexpected moments & set pieces are what goes into making it B-M's best show. The awesome set list at Zepp 2018 is still my fave over all set list tho :)
There was a song that I don't know the name of, only the lyrics, which goes like this: dum-dum-dum-dum-durudum! I have sleepless nights because of it :)
@@GaryHolloway-810 Then, according to them, you didn't hear it: at their last concert, Akane performed the beginning of the song "Black Hole" like this during the OT. (Miku's part)
The main show was superb. The extra show was superb with mainly songs they couldn't fit into the main Yokohama show. Their vast music library is filled with just great music that can be repeated, replayed and never feels old. I am not informed enough to say which band is better. But for me Band Maid bring something special to every song and every performance. Easily my personal favourites.
Not only one of the best acts today…..but our Maids are the best of all time!!!! Who has world-class musicians and vocals in every member? They can do anything. I LOVE BAND-MAID❤
If The Maids release this whole show on DVD, then I'm buying two of them...at least. It's THAT fkn good! Seriously, it's an unbelievable serving of awesomeness! Thanks much, LBS! 🕊
This concert has a tremendous setlist, many great songs... but I still miss gems not seen at both the Tokyo Garden Theater and the Yokohama Arena gigs, such as: "Cross", "Clang", "Take Me Higher", "Matchless Gum", "Awkward", "Spirit", "Alive Or Dead" and "Fate"
Thanks for your support for BM. Ignore the strict copyright enforcers. The whole issue of copyright usage is not cut and dried. I think a case can be made that part of Band Maid's increased popularity is due to the many reaction channels, your's at the top, spreading the word about BM.
I saw Band-Maid in Anaheim last August and they set the bar for an awesome and proper live performance! I'm patiently waiting until they return to SoCal to see them live because these ladies are that phenomenal!
The thing about Band-Maid is their concerts are like homecomings or reunions. No matter where they play, it's like friends and family getting together for a barbeque, and the venue is the Maid House. Everybody, including the Maids, are happy to get back and see each cities' familiar faces and new faces and make them smile and have a good time.
İ have not been lucky enough to see them live, but my god they are the best,,What amazes me is that they have never written a meh song,im in my 60s and seen all the top bands over the years, and all those bands have written a few clunkers,,album tracks or fillers that you skip,These ladies have never done that, its songwriting on an epic scale.
Saiki looks exceptionally glistening here. 😓 poor thing. Those black outfits look cool, but I worry about them. Best live band ever? They’re absolutely in the same category as the best I’ve ever seen personally. KISS camaraderie. Journey (for the sound quality alone) The Jacksons “once in a lifetime” feeling. Elton John and all those great songs. Garth Brooks family of fans. AC/DC chanting “Oi! Oi! Oi!” And still, Band Maid live performances are still uniquely special. Like childbirth or war, you cannot understand unless you’ve experienced it
Saiki's outfit sure looks like it could use a change to a lighter fabric. The others seem fine as far as I can tell. They sure weren't "glistening" like Saiki was.
Hahaha, there are always a couple of idiots who will scream on you. Don’t pay attention! Your reactions promote Band Maid more than their screaming, or Screaming.
Disclaimer: "Band maid is my favorite band ever". I think 2 of the bands that are best live are Babymetal and obviously Ramstein, the reason? Obviously one of the many is the budget, without talking about Ramstein (those who know them need no explanation), Babymetal has its own uniqueness, a band made up of 4 of the best musicians in Japan and Suzuka in live has a divine voice. Obviously I prefer Band maid, but I'm bias, so I tried to be objective.

The nail. You have hit she on the head!
Yes! There is nothing "under the stars" about these ladies.
(And it could be, because there would be a demand for it from many... :D)

I haven't seen them personally but from what I've seen on the internet I would have to agree with you. Best rock band on the planet.
That was a Jam....never heard it before !!!!! They are the best live.....they make you feel like they invited you to their practice facility and wanna have fun with you !!!!
"Screaming" was a surprise. Plus i wasn't disappointed at anything in the 3½hr+ show, it's their most awesome crowning glory live show so far :)
Start Over was I think a bigger surprise, there were more than a few gasps from the audience when the piano intro started. It's a song I hadn't seen a live version of before, I love the song and it was brilliantly performed.

Thanks so much nice reaction!
Their songs get better every time they play them!
Mincho at 5:37. Kanami in heaven. And Akane drums during her solo...next level. Thanks for the reaction
Favorite Band-Maid song. Hands down 🤘🏼

Thank you for the reaction. Love this song!
When this show was first streamed, they were posting on twitter and Saiki's comment was ' Wow, I sweat a lot'
🤣
We still love you Saiki, but I thought women didn’t sweat - they glisten. 😂😂
Yeah, I think her costume needs a redesign with lighter fabric.🤣

the only other band that cones close to the energy they emit from the stage is mr.big with the late great pat torpey.
