2022: It’s crazy to see how the trail used to look. Most of it burned in 2020, and the trail was closed for almost two years, re-opening this spring. A lot of it is burned or partially burned, with mullein coming up along the slopes to help bind the soil. Still a great ride. Add this loop to the 1 mile schoolhouse loop and the skills loop, and you’ve got a nice green ride, which can seem blue-green in some places to beginners.
