I have ridden this trail for many years. You have some great instincts and found several of the more difficult lines. There are a lot more options lately.
I ride mtb in Minnesota. I flew to Colorado without my bike and got to hike the trail. I’m so jealous of the people that were riding it because it looked so dang fun.
Your video inspired me to try out Hall after work today. I rode all the trails, started at parking lot below bitterbrush (the rock garden), climb up bitterbrush then down and up antelope, Nelson loop clockwise and finally down “the rock garden”. That was a lot of fun, have to say bitterbrush was my favorite. Great video
Yes! I like it! Like I've been saying in all the comments this thing had alot of everything and I can imagine climbing bitterbrush to be quite the task! Nice work and thanks Off road repair!
Hall Ranch looks incredible. I have got to ride “THE” rock garden. Looks like a much drier version of our tech gnar out east. Love what you do man. Keeps me dreaming ☺️
It was a good ride! I like to whine about "wet" and "humidity" because I'm a desert rat that lives in a climate with constant single digit relative humidities lol Its nothing like what you guys have back east obviously where the rocks are really slick! Thanks Scott!
Dude! Me and my buddies just rode there a couple days ago! We did laps up top tho. I wish I could've ran in to you guys and Jason Bikes and the Hulk! Next time!
Laps! That stuff was tiring bro! lol Nice work! Yep, we rode this back in mid May and I got to meet the legendary Hulk and Jason! Hopefully we'll see you on some CO trail in the near future! Thanks Shawn!
Thanks Russell! That flow at the end was a really nice cool down and relaxed ride. Overall, I was really impressed with Hall Ranch for the high speed flow and then the gnarly chunk! But the beer is what I was really looking forward too! lol
So cool to see your line choices riding blind! You picked some good ones. Now, go demoralize yourself and watch Jeff Lenosky climb that garden effortlessly :D
It was a guessing game thats for sure, I usually like to ride this stuff at least once before running a camera for better quality, but oh well! I can't watch the Trail Boss' stuff, he make me feel like I'm inadequate in mountain biking lol jk
Thanks Thim, I'm kind of jealous of you because I have a 150mm, I wish I had a 170. Anyway, Jason isn't the only biker I know that goes without a dropper, I definitely wouldn't be able to survive without one, but at least those guys are always in the ideal climbing position. I've seen the smoke plume in GJ all the way from durango, my fire fighter days ended a few years ago, but I definitely am still fascinated with what going on. Those guys in the southwest end of CO are ridiculously dry this year!
The “direction” was actually a spoof, both I and James have a great sense of direction!

You weren't kidding that trail is a complete meal, has a little of everything.
Thanks Matt! And thanks for the S&W sticker! This trail could definitely please everybody!

The Root Garden looks like a fun trail!
It got added to my favorites, so many lines! So many chances to go over the bars!
I don't think you even noticed how I said the ROOT Garden, hahaha!
Awesome video. That trail looks so fun.
Thanks a bunch Dan! I had alot of fun on this one, it had almost everything you could ask for in a trail.
Looks like fun tech. Solid video.
Thanks Joey Welsh! Great trail was fun tech and fast flow! I like both of those!
HAHAHA!!! Direction??? So classic! Ok, "The Rock Garden" was looking pretty fun. Good edit Outdoor Gold!
LOL a small dose of humor to some serious mtb! I was a big fan of bitterbrush, amazing flow and then chunk! Thanks Eric!
I just showed my kids your directions... There is a lot of laughter going on right now (or should I say left now?)
I love it!

Dig it man! Perfect mix of tech and flow. Makes me want to ride there!
Thanks Greg! This was a good round of biking! And like you said, perfect amount of flow to chunk ratio!
I went here in July and the technical is gnarly
You guys done it right. Shredded “the rock garden” then stopped at Oscar blues.
I think stopping in at Oskar Blues was probably more important to me that day than riding bikes lol! Thanks Kris!

1000 SUBS!!!! DOOOOOOOODDDD!!!!!! Congrats!
JBone XC was one of the first! Thanks!
Cool chunk. Vlog speed was pretty exciting!
hahaha my vlog speed isn't very fast, I actually have to breathe when I talk lol! Thanks Nat!
"It's rocky". Didn't even hit the rock garden yet :) you guys were moving pretty good through there for a first time down.
I bet riding this a second time would be a mtb dream!
There's always another chance ;)
Good job through THE Rock garden. Isn't the flow at the end a nice way to end some jankyness?
🤘🚲🍺

I Love your Gloves. What brand are they?
Sweet Bird of Freedom thanks! These are a Brand called Handup Gloves. Great company with neat styles and leather palms! I’m a huge fan!
@@OutdoorGold thanks for the info. Gonna try and get a pair. Im patriotic.

You guys going to help Durango with forest fire. Anyways always good stuff man.
Crap! Another trail I have to add to my punch list. I guess next year I will have to make it a 3 week vacation. The Rock Garden looks sick.
This is out on the JF Rides side of the Rockies. I had a ton of fun, going from high speed flow to techy chunk! A+
Man that's insane I wouldn't know how to ride a bike without a dropper. Some days wish I had more than 170 mm which I have on.
Thanks Thim, I'm kind of jealous of you because I have a 150mm, I wish I had a 170. No dropper post? No wonder he fell off a mountain with Sdy & Mackey.
LOL Jason is mostly invincible!
Camera nerd in me trying to figure out what lens that guy has at 7:43!
Nicee vídeo friend
