this "drinking your taco" thing started in the 90s with taquitos. you could seriously drink that sauce through the taquito-straw. Many of us are dead now.
Chili Colorado. We put red chili sauce in much of the food served in this house. Dipping a taco directly is a great idea. Even my roast beef stew starts with cooking the roast in chili sauce.
I’ve never really had real tacos, and tried birria the other day. I suspect they were below average tacos, but they were so damn good. I need to find that taco truck I’ve heard about, and have some good ones.

My style is to order the cup of Birria's juice with chop beef plus onion and cilantro and I put some lemon Juice and drink directly then I bite my crunchy taco I don't like to sink the taco into the cup of juice Lol...
