How did you get to KEEP the Missed calls icon/ User's EXT number/ Time and Date up on Home Screen? I have 4621 SW connected to one Avaya IPO Release 9.0.8 Preferred Edition, IP500V1, and the missed calls ICON always disappears from the phone home screen. It won't stay. Is your 4621SW actually connected to one Avaya CM or also IPO?

It sounds like your phone has a custom config file loaded onto it. Basically you'll need to load a clean 46xxsettings.txt file onto the phone to get it to allow programming. In order to do that you'll need a DHCP server set up with the appropriate DHCP options and a tftp server to point to that will load the file. Thanks for watching, hope that helps clear up your issue.

So when I go to craft my phone it just restarts. The menu never comes up, I think the 46xxxsettingstxt is corrupted. Is there a way to master reset the phone that you know of?

Dee Taylor Hi! If you have access to your 46xxsettings text file, go to local procedures. As you can see in Example #1 below, where it says ## SET PROCPSWD 27238, you can change the password there. Look at Example #2. The “ ” makes the password Null. So no more password, you would just hit #. The 4621SW password is CLEAR not CRAFT. The 9600 series uses CRAFT. You also want to make sure you remove the ## from this SET PROCSTAT 0 (as in Example #2). Hope this helps!
