In case your Agents is Avaya endpoint you can set in CM_Endpoint Profile under Profile Typer whether it is Agent or Endpoint. In case you are using some other 3rd party agent SIP application you need to reach out to our support department for further consultation through any of the channels on this link: support.avaya.com/contact/ or contact your Sales representative.
Our support would need some additional information about the issue you encountered. But based on the short description recommend you to read support.avaya.com/ext/index?page=content&id=SOLN123868 . If you need further assistance, as we cannot respond effectively via comments, for better support, we recommend you to reach our support through any of the channels on this link: support.avaya.com/contact/
SIP Works on domain, port and IP. So when there is a SIP call from Source to Destination, the Call is initiated with extn@domain or extn@IP to the destination. A domain, or a SIP realm, is a component within SIP which is used to authenticate users within the SIP registration process.
If the extension is not reflecting in the CM, please make sure that the endpoint profile is correctly created on the System manager user profile page pointing it to the right CM. If the configuration is correct, please try doing an incremental sync from the inventory page. If the issue is still seen, for better support we recommend you to reach our support through any of the channels on this link: support.avaya.com/contact/
