I have a 3 arm crack on my Model S roof, so I of course bought the resin and am going to attempt the repair.

Sorry to hear that man. I recommend everyone to keep this kit handy in your car or at home. You can buy the individual bulk of the resin for around 40 dollars. Even if it doesnt work for you, you only wasted $12 and 1-2hours of your life. Cheers!

Your way is much better, thanks. I used clear nail polish and then after a few months just went to get my windshield replaced at Tesla. But your way is much better in terms of cost, time and practicality.

June 2023 a rock chipped my windshield, last month extreme cold weather + my heat spread it almost the whole length. Safelite sealed the first chip, I did a full windshield replacement Feb 29th. BOTH were $0 with my insurance w/ Progressive

Dam lucky... my insurance doesn't cover unfortunately here in Alberta unless we pay a high premium.

    Im
Gonna try this, i have a long line like yours without the big impact though, wonder which way to start, its a L shape crack in the middle

Shouldn’t matter which way to start but I like starting right on the impact spot. Just a quick update it’s been 4 months and the crack has not gotten worse 😀
