THANK YOU so much for this. The written instructions are a little intimidating for a car repair novice. Your video made it very easy to understand. And I love that you’re a fellow Office fan. 😁
You're welcome!
Great video. Sticks to the point and well explained. Doing this fix on my Sienna today. Key is get at it as soon as you see a crack. Doesn’t take long to expand.
Agreed. Gotta catch it before it spreads!
It works, so far so good. Mine was the size of a quarter. Thanks for your help 👍

Glad to hear it!
thanks for the video, helpful
You are so welcome :)
Thank you! Just gotten a chip in my window day..thought I would ‘first’ watch how to apply the product before. I go out and buy it..your video- ah simple and easy instructions and you showed how easy etc it is to do etc. (Laughed at your ending lol)
Saved this video to do it along when I do mine tomorrow ☺️ (raining today)
Thank you again for doing this video!!
Glad I could help!
Thank you so much!!! Just got done fixing mine using your tutorial. Did it ever crack again?
Nope! It's holding up great.
I am guessing that is a fiberglass casting resin with acetate. ... just a guess.
Thank you for the price quote. It actually really helps they brought [the price point] down a little. Cracks are illegal here in Cali; so, $25 would be a major setback for a sole proprietor. But a crackt shield should get replaced is as the other point.
Beautiful job with the directives. My multi-dialect english would never have read that correctly.
Thanks for making this. The included instructions suck although they are very thorough. I just enjoy the video format more so im grateful to you sir.
Of course!
Bra!!! Super helpful!! Cause I was way off on the instructions! Thank you!!!

Thank you for this video!! I’m anxiously waiting to see if it works. Currently on the wait 10 minutes step. 😬 I’m in a Walmart parking lot so I super appreciate having this to reference so it looks like I know what I’m doing 😂
Edit: well it’s definitely still noticeable, but hopefully doing this will help it from spreading. Thanks again. I can at least rest a little better knowing I did what I could.
Yes - that's the hope.
Mine looks like I never touched it. Sux
After a few weeks Did it spread or got worse ? Or it just stay the same ? I'm doing it right now but I'm not sure if this will prevent it from spreading
@@xXKYKYXx99 it’s stayed about the same. I worry whenever I defrost the window, but so far everything has been fine. Hope the same will be true for you.
@@NevadaLamb how many cracks can you fix with one kit ?

Thanks for your video. It was a great help. The instructions on my kit are rubbish.
Glad it helped
Omg … you are my life saver I have a rental and I don’t know if they change for a Little Rock that hit the windshield and I have no plans on paying for a new windshield the only reason I’m in a rental is because my car is in the shop and you really did save me more money if they wanted me to pay this is a game changer and thank you so much for showing me how this works much love from Texas
Happy to help!
Actually this is the same thing that happened to me right now but Im not sure if this was already there and now spreading.
Thank you sir!! 👍😁
Very welcome
Bout to do this on this weekend!
hope it worked!
Gracias por la información
This thing works like magic.
Right !?
Thanks mate 👍
No problem 👍
Thanks for this video. If I was left to the instructions from Permatex I would have been in trouble. The car recently got hit by a pebble kicked up by a truck which left a 1/4 inch divot in the glass. It wasn't so bad that I needed a new windshield but living in NH I know that in the winter this divot would eventually get worse. So I tried Permatex. Things to note about the process: With my Permatex kit the syringe metal stops broke immediately, and I had to fiddle with it to make it "sorta" work. No kidding about having a rag available. During my process today I had the 20 minute wait and left the vehicle for 10 minutes or so and came back to see a 9 inch resin river on my windshield. Fortunately it cleaned up easily but I'd recommend not to leave the vehicle during any of the steps. In the end the repair was pretty good. I'd say it looks about 90% better. The Permatex instructions are less than adequate, and the syringe stop metal broke. On a one to 10 basis, I give the product a 5 as far as ease of use and a 9 for results. Your video is a 10.
I agree. Permatex needs to create a QR code with this video attached because it was very helpful. I went cross eyed trying to read the instructions lol
@@lancer717 Hi, So true. Just an FYI. It has bee a little over 2 weeks since I used the stuff and it is holding up fine.
@@bobglin4209 thank you! I messed up during the dropper/ air suction part but it is better than it was before.
what a compliment :)
Thank you so much!
Thank you 🙌🏼
This video was a 9.5/10. The Prison Mike at the end made it 10/10 lol thank you. I've used this product before, maybe a decade ago. Solid product, this time wanted a refresher. Thank you.
Thank you for the honest review :)
Dude, you're the flash!
;)
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Nice. Great video. ❤
Appreciate the love!
I did mine watching your vedio thanks
Of course!
Thanks so much 👍
of course!
Thanks for making this video. I totally screwed up the process the first one I did this
I got you!
Thanks. Currently in the mountains in Colorado and need to do this as no autoglass people willing to come out.
Hope it worked!
What happens if I didn’t do it successfully with the syringe the first time ! I had to try 3 times to get through the stuck at the second line 😅
Thank you for your help it was very helpful 🙏🏻 I fixed my windshield almost a bit better 😂
I’m glad the product, and video, we’re helpful!
Thanks!
FWIW I had a crack in my original windshield and it spidered in like 2 days (fall....warm days, cool nights) had to pay a total of over $800 for a generic windshield manufacturer ($200 cheaper than OEM manufacturer) AND a sensor recalibration!
Just got a small nick and rice length crack on a 800 mi road trip. No messing around I'm fixing it here before risking 800 mi if vibration and cracks back.
I can still see the minute crack but it was so small I'm not sure that the sealer did much inside.
Hopefully it works! It'd save me $800 I don't really have to throw away now. $800 could have got me a nice plane flight here and back without the vehicle lol.
Thanks for sharing!
of course!
Great video...... 👍 nicely explained
The instructions were kinda like a puzzle while reading it lol
Right now, it's cold like in the 40's .... nice day at this time of year tho. It's been cloudy all week with little or no sunlight. I'm wondering if I just turn on the vent for the windshield to use it as sunlight instead.... will that work, you think? Thanks first
howd it go?!
You lost me when I saw you drove a prius. Lol. Good vid. Need to try in my 22mpg, 2021 Genesis G80, 375HP twin Turbo.
Again. Good vid. Txs
Of course
Thank you Boss!
You got it
Does anyone know if the tube had enough resin for two cracks? I really don’t want to buy a second, and I thought a kit would contain enough for two, but it looks like they include only one part for the applicator ring and all that.
what did you ever find out I'm in the same boat...just paid 20+ and I have 2 chips. Dont wanna pay 40+
I hv a question at the last step. Once I removed the plastic n i see there is another attached to the window. I need to remove this one too right ? Thank you
Correct!
