Also check the "S" mint mark on the Susan B Antony for a Clear "S" variety on the 1979 & 1981, they are worth a lot more. Also if there was a 1979-P look for the wide rim / close date variety

there's a chinese saying about lucky bags/grab bags/random bags: you pick them blindly, they didn't put them blindly. these bags are usually filled up with old stocks, cheap stuffs and some, even fake stuffs.
I gotta say, that 'Spice Box' really cracked me up! Other than that, the contents in the box are amazing! Keep up the good work on these vids, man!

One is the 1981 D SBA dollar and the 1981 S SBA dollar, in addition to the 1981 P SBA dollar.
There was a war nuckel in the Jefferson set

The war nickel in the Jefferson box is actually worth about $1.25 because of its silver content.

Was there a war nickel in that set?
Also, there's an extra dollar in the mint set because the San Francisco Mint made Susan B. Anthony dollars from 1979-1980 for circulation, so they included the extra San Francisco mint dollars with the Denver set. In 1981, dollar coins from the 3 mints were only issued in the mint sets, with limited mintages.
Overall a wonderful bag!!

I had one of the 1981 mint sets. The red colored set with 2 SB's one is Denver and the other is San Francisco mint. I see you have all Susan B. Anthony 79, 80, and 81 proofs. On the 1981 Susan's, keep them all because they wasn't intended for circulation, only for collectors and all three P, D, and S mints has very low mintage of 3,000,000 for each the P D and S coins lowest of the series.
That was an epic grab bag. I am always looking for the ones that seem to look like they are just off loading a bunch.

Great video silver picker, but you undervalued it slightly. You accounted the silver nickel in the Jefferson set as 5c (there is one silver one in the mix there)
*sigh* I know. I was screaming at my monitor. That's probably over a buck and a quarter in that "nickel," just for the metal.

Crazy too is that the seller went to all the time to package this stuff up, list it on e-Bay, and then give up a seller's fee, thus netting under $40, when he could certainly have received more than $40 by just walking that material into virtually any coin shop and selling to even the most stingy dealer.

The Susan B Anthony Mint Set I believe should be a P, D, & S. There was a business strike S and then a Proof S as well. The mint set includes all business stuck coins so you get the extra S also.

I looked up everything, and the total value I came up with was $204.25!
Question, a general rule of thumb for EBay is check what else they are selling if they are selling other coins for example it’s generally a sign that they know what they are selling and not just some random quack who has found a coin design they haven’t noticed before and stuck on EBay say ‘oh oh rare coin’ I’m in the UK and forever seeing headlines about common as muck 50p coins being listed as rare and selling for stupid amounts of money
When my pap passed away he left me his coin collection. Within the collection he had silver Morgan dollars, silver half dollars, even some Eisenhower dollars.
But my favorite park of the collection it’s the 1981S type 1 proof set. According to PCGS (on their website) a 1981 S type 1 proof 70 DCAM penny is worth a few thousand dollars.
Moral of the story is check your coinage people

Wow, that's a nice score. I wish I could buy American silver coins but its really hard to do. I've seen a cool coin on Ebay for like 6-10$ I believe it was a flying eagle but it cost 30-40$ in shipping and additional custom fees. And silver coins are even worse than that they can go to 70$ plus for a silver quarter.

In the 81 proof set sometimes all denomination will be the type 2 and sometimes it might only be several of them.81 is my birth year and i have the type 2 set.I think its worth a hundred atleast .Nice lil come up off of a 8 dollar set

Good while back you posted a video that gave the name of a site that would buy or exchange all your old foreign coins for useable cash. I went to the site a couple times to check it out and bookmarked it for future use. Then I somehow ended up getting a deal on about 20 lbs of bulk foreign coins from around the world. Sold what I could, Kept all the silver francs and florins, pesos, marks and guldens and still have 16 lbs almost of coins I can't seem to get rid of. Coppers and bi-metals even aluminum and brass coins nobody wants. Could you please respond with the name of that site again? for some reason my bookmark is gone bye bye. Thanks silverpicker
