BIG thumbs up 👍. These videos are actually very educational for us newbies and gives everyone a heads up on which scamming eBay sellers to watch out for.
Lesson learned is.. Silverpicker did a huge favor for all of us in the Coin Grab Bag purchases. Always examine the coins before you buy them. I would not want any of the coins for a collector's collection.
Thanks for doing this. I can only buy things that are described in detail, anything else is gambling, and there is a reason they are not telling you what exactly you are getting.
The idea of purchasing one of the bundles offered in different places has almost bitten me. I have been overly cautious simply because of fearing similar results as the second seller. Wording of the ads and the idea of being specific seems to scare me away from them. The first seller was vague enough and yet precise enough at the same time. They were honest enough to let you know that there could be something or there could be little to nothing. All in all this was a fabulous learning experience. Thank you.
Hi. The 5 Cent coin dated 1958, isn't just another 'Nickel'! In that I mean, the Philadelphia mint house. During 1958, not many coins were minted, especially nickels. Therefore, that coin is categorized as Low Mintage coin and its value is much higher than you counted as 50 cents.
Great video! But the only things that bug me is you undervaluing some items. The roosevelt dime set should've been 2$ and the UNC 1958 nickel should be around a quarter to a dollar.
@@Silverpicker Yes, but it definetly has value to some collectors since a 62 year old nickel is mostly pretty well worn now. (Especially when collectors make UNC date sets and they don't have a 1958 nickel there, it would be a good coin for them because it fills up a spot.)
To be too particular about it, the coins you said were 1976 centennial pieces despite their markings were probably from '75, as centennial coins were minted that year and they appeared to go with the '75 dime.
The panda coin is just a little over half an ounce. 18g lol Also, this looks like the Chinese limited edition coin from 2017, could be another year. Anyway, it usually costs about 50 - 100 Euro and they rise up in value a lot over the years since it's limited edition (A lot of fanatic coin collectors in China).

This was an excellent video, SP. Sadly, the great majority of listings for these types of grab bags, are scam. MSRC3102 was definitely an exception, and IMO worth buying.
If you want to have some real fun, buy the bank's bag's of old coins (circulated type old). They sell by the weight not coin values. You might get lucky and find silver coins in them and you might not. But the good thing is the face value of the coins is usually more than the cost of the entire bag. Not by MUCH of course but at least you do get your money's worth and sometimes a special bonus.

The first grab bag seemed well worth it. Not the second. Interesting video though. Like to see more of these ebay mystery grab bag unboxings.
I'm a new collector & that first bag was cool as heck. I would be truly pleased to spend $50 on that bag. Very Cool!
Right!? Lots of fun
@@Silverpicker indeed. I will be trying a couple for myself
The Chinese coin in the first bag literally said zinc alloy on the description.
I have a real one
Where does it say Zinc alloy? On the coin is written 1 ounce 999 silver
The first grab bag is good. If it's a $50 grab bag the worth should be just short of $50 up to about $55-65. He did good not just putting in coins. The pins might not be your thing but it could start you down a new collecting path. The first bag was great
I see you listed 3x indian head pennies valued at $1 for all 3 and also 3 v nickles listed as 50 cents for all 3.I would pay these prices all day long for even common dates of these types of coins.
these videos were great and always will be the best way to learn honesty.
Thanks Ken! Glad you're enjoying them!
Loved this video, earned yourself a new sub
please do more!
Sub'd! I bought one of these a few years ago and was really disappointed! I'm glad you made this so less people have to name the same mistake.. But i Also learned that they aren't all scams and what to look for if I decide to buy one as a gift or just for something fun to go through with my kids! Thanks a lot!
Hello, For that panda coin I am not sure is it fake or not, but I can tell it’s not silver they called it zinc alloy I guess, hope it can help you.
BIG thumbs up 👍. These videos are actually very educational for us newbies and gives everyone a heads up on which scamming eBay sellers to watch out for.
Glad you enjoyed it!!
whew, well their grab bags are up over $170 on ebay now haha. Bidding is fierce!
I like the initial GRAB BAG..in the cloth sack. It peaked my interest and I may even look into buying one or 2.
@Real Dudes Party Nude , *Peaked* ,works best. lol Thx :)
Thank you for this great information especially for new collectors like me
Lesson learned is.. Silverpicker did a huge favor for all of us in the Coin Grab Bag purchases.
Always examine the coins before you buy them.
I would not want any of the coins for a collector's collection.
Thanks Bill. Glad to be able to help the community!
LOL ALMOST BOUGHT THE SECOND GRAB BAG THANKS
Thanks for doing this. I can only buy things that are described in detail, anything else is gambling, and there is a reason they are not telling you what exactly you are getting.
first video I have watched of yours … subbed and liked !!!
Welcome to the Silverpicker Squad! Glad you enjoyed it.
They were honest enough to let you know that there could be something or there could be
little to nothing. All in all this was a fabulous learning experience. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed!!
I'd give you $5 for that $1 Silver certificate. lol
That paperclip might have been worth the most from that bag.
😂😂😂
Save the paperclip, they will be rare on day.
Did you save it?
Hi. The 5 Cent coin dated 1958, isn't just another 'Nickel'! In that I mean, the Philadelphia mint house. During 1958, not many coins were minted, especially nickels. Therefore, that coin is categorized as Low Mintage coin and its value is much higher than you counted as 50 cents.
dude , Im sorry I disagree ..I love that necklace. It was wicked cool.
@Fart Mcass you think people owe you stuff just because you like it?
@Fart Mcass do you know what a joke is, buddy?
@@Aye.Eye.Captain Do you know what sarcasm is?
kingpest13 It appears so
That necklace would give you that crazy rash on your neck
From what I see neither one of them was worth it. Thanks for sharing this information with us.
Great video! But the only things that bug me is you undervaluing some items. The roosevelt dime set should've been 2$ and the UNC 1958 nickel should be around a quarter to a dollar.
I tried to be conservative because otherwise people complain that "you can't REALLY" get that much for it because of fees, etc."
Makes sense. Thanks!
The panda coin is just a little over half an ounce. 18g lol
Also, this looks like the Chinese limited edition coin from 2017, could be another year. Anyway, it usually costs about 50 - 100 Euro and they rise up in value a lot over the years since it's limited edition (A lot of fanatic coin collectors in China).
that panda was probably and most likely fake
@@robertoh.20 Yeah it was fake, he did an update on it.
You know, it's that you commented on this one that I see now, He gave this comment a heart before, then went on to make said update, claimed it was his own idea, and then apparently deleted the heart. He didn't like me saying he ripped someone off on another video, even though he clearly did... So he could use that as an excuse, would be a sad excuse, but an excuse nonetheless. I am glad it was fake, and I hope he doesn't sell it on ebay as real. But most likely he will. He is a douche like that as he has proven himself to be.
My son is 4 years old and obsessed w your videos. He loves gold and coins, and really wants a grab bag for Christmas , do you have a link for eBay where you purchased?
Iam from England no clue what all these coins are but still fun to wacht
That last item (mercury dime) you pulled out of the bag was in good shape and is worth more than $2.75 per the red book.
True, but you really can't trust Red Book values. The book is great for info and specs, but the market prices change too frequently for it to be a useful gauge of pricing
Silverpicker that's on the low end. PCGS says AG-03 is worth at least $4. Silver value as of today is $1.14.
i would be mad as hell about those gold bank note things...
Great video. Its now Jan 2nd 2020 and I went to eBay to check if there were any more Grab Bags from msrc3102 and surprisingly it was all sold out LOL. I didnt even bother to look up the other seller. Thumbs up xD
Shame you didn't get your money's worth on that second bag, and yes I would buy from the first when I get the extra money.
The first seller's Grab Bag was really kewl and worth it, yes.
The second guy's "Grab Bag" should have been sold as a TRASH BAG!
👎👎🗑️😝🚮🗑️😝🚮🗑️😝🚮 👎👎
And I loved watching this video and I'm already a sub. Thanks for the heads up 👁️👁️ for the inexperienced & young numismatists out here. You're saving ppl from being scammed 👍 (hopefully lots of them). Scammers suck! - especially the self-righteous ones.
Keep on rockin' the videos bro.
I would love to see another unboxing 👍
I liked this video because it shows the real and the fake. Im just getting started again with collecting coins. I lost all my other coins i know not where so im stoked to start over. But had i reached out to ebay i wouldnt have known what to choose so thank u for going ahead of me!
You really should buy a GRAB BAG and sell it to Pawn stars
Who knows how much could you get out of him
YEAHHHH , THE GUY SELLS THINGS TO LOSE MONEY YOU GULABLE FOOL
You'll probably get 10 bucks for it
Maybe posted in the comments from someone else already but the '75 proof dual dated Ike, half and quarter could've come out of a 1975 proof set. '75 and '76 sets both had the dual dated coins.
The first grab bag- I would buy
First bag was awesome, I would have been happy with that as an adult! I'm always wary of buying lots but it looks like it's a 50/50

That first lot was freaking awesome!! I'm positive I have bought the second bag, and was just as disappointed with the "real gold" they advertised. Thanks for the video 😁👍
that 1858 flying eagle cent is worth more than 8 bucks lol
The first bag was AMAZING for $50. Thank you very much for this helpful video.
Really great. The sellers are fantastic people
"I'm not sure whether these were uncirculated at one point or not."
. . .
Nahh man they minted them in shitty condition to begin with.
I can't believe i sat through this whole video. I was intrigued throughout :) Great vid.
Really glad you enjoyed!
Hey man just curious, how could i get in touch with you about some coins I do have? While cleaning out my recently passed grandfathers home I stumbled upon a very large assortment of US and European currency, most dating between late 1800s-mid 1900's and I unfortunately don't have any shops around me to take them too nor anyone whos experienced with it, not sure if maybe you'd be able to take alook at some via pictures and maybe we could figure outt ogether what they are and what they may be worth? Would love to chat man!
What do you have? Pics?
@@amihan99 I have too much to photograph really. It's just an assortment of US quarters, nickels, pennies, etc. between late 1800's - 1940's, some German coins from WWII era with Nazi symbols on them, several notes from different European countries. There really is too much to just type out lol
I really like the way you put it out there. I would be glad to have you in my corner any time. Thank you and keep them vidos coming I look forward to your next one. By the way I'm a collector to, and that kind of information is very helpful.
Hey David, really appreciate the comment. Glad you're enjoying the videos!

"ss titanic"
*cough* RMS *cough*
I was going to comment the same thing, I used to study a lot of Titanic. It is R.M.S Titanic and R.M.S stands for Royal Mail Ship.
@@gerrittaber7331 i always thought it meant royal merchant ship, i guess you learn something new every day!
@@DeltaDS Well yes, I have studied Titanic for about 4-5 years, so I have a collection of books
@@gerrittaber7331 You guys are 100% right! Thanks for pointing it out
I like how they have no bad feedback, makes you wonder.
It's very disconcerting because I left a bad feedback and it disappeared and then someone else did too and it also disappeared
Your Gemini “token” looks like a challenge coin made for the Gemini space program. If you’re valuing it at $1 I will gladly pay you $10. That’s a great find for challenge coin collectors.
I'm curious. What's a challenge coin? Also why pay more lol
Don't think I would buy one for myself but I know I might get one or two for a couple new collectors. From the first seller. Enjoying your videos
WHO IS BUYING BAGS OF EXTREMELY COMMON LINCOLN CENTS??!?!
Ahem, I need them to put my kids through college, see.
Very nice. Thank you. If it looks too good to be true... I was totally looking at the second style lot you opened up just yesterday... Thanks for the perspective.
This was an excellent video, SP. Sadly, the great majority of listings for these types of grab bags, are scam. MSRC3102 was definitely an exception, and IMO worth buying.
Thank you! I agree!
Is the sdbullion spot price deal still good 2/20/2020? So many twos and zeros! I'm glad you spent the money on the grab bag... ;) I Subscribed.

The 1886 dime is actually in fine condition and worth 20-25 dollars. A lot of the coins you undervalued.
The panda coin literally says 18gram right on the package

If you want to have some real fun, buy the bank's bag's of old coins (circulated type old). They sell by the weight not coin values. You might get lucky and find silver coins in them and you might not. But the good thing is the face value of the coins is usually more than the cost of the entire bag. Not by MUCH of course but at least you do get your money's worth and sometimes a special bonus.
Lmao tallone2050 has 100% positive reviews still. The written part on many reviews are negative though.
Fake reviews
Bought from him (before I saw this video) got 1/5th of what I paid for
FYI I know its been a year but these ass hats that make video's on RUclips about grab bags are full of it they do not come with that many coins and in that good of condition most 50 grab bags have 8 to 15 coins these guy's are setting up fake video's in order to make a profit
I bought six separate grab bags from Ebay.
Five were coinages, one of the five was foreign coinages, one was Jewelery.
All together cost me $386.00
I had thirty coins of silver, fifteen indian nickels,
six pieces of 925 silver of Jewelery.
I took all to a coin collector, Jewelery shop.
I was given $75.00 for it all.
1975 quarters are labeled bicentennial 76.
Certainly the type of grab nice you don’t want to end up with… Thanks for sharing!
You got that right!
