Epic $100 Coin Grab Bag Showdown! In this video, I am battling both @Silver Seeker and @Silverpicker in an EPIC $100 Coin Grab Bag Showdown! We all purchased $100 Grab Bags from one of Silverpicker's sources www.mainstreetrarecoins.com to see what kind of silver coins, world coins and other collectibles we would all get. We'll be keeping tally on the value, or ROI (return on investment) we all receive for our money. The main thing for this video is to get some collectibles, provide info on what we got and to have a little friendly battle in the process. Please be sure to check out their channels and videos listed below and be sure to subscribe to them, if you could! Finally, please post a comment in my comment section after watching all 3 videos and let me know who you think got the better bag - it could be as far as value, or it could be as far as what bag you would have liked to receive the most - either way is fine! I watch the other two videos and I think silver picker's grab bag was stacked with major valuable historical items I think it was slightly unfair holy cow. It looked fixed there were items that were worth hundreds of dollars and he was clueless LOLOLOLOLOL a purple heart ww2 ribbon $$
I found a Series 2013 $1 dollar star note K25110831* 3.2 million print run ⭐️. So now i have three star notes added to my collection. I ❤️ this video for a thumb up, like comment and subscribe. ❤️ you RobFindsTreasure. 😁
I am a collector myself and enjoy these videos. Out of the three channels, I have seen silverpicker first and actually came here like a year ago, been fans of both of you guys for awhile now and hope for more challenges like this.
Technically with the penny roll, they can claim it's unsearched by them at least if they just bought the roll and never looked through it for errors or varieties, which is something I enjoy doing. Thanks for the video. It would be nice to see more videos with grab bags from this shop.
All 3 grab bags were excellent, each tailored to the individual receiving it. Kudos to the seller. As far as which bag I would have been most thrilled to receive (and they all would have been well received), my ranking is: First place - RobFindsTreasure Second Place - Silver Seeker Third Place - SilverPicker
This is what I think: 1) Rob, 2) Seeker, 3) Picker. These grab bags are better than others I've seen. Would be curious to see what an anonymous customer would get. Love the video -- very interesting.
Rob, you get the win for the coins, Seeker & Picker both had some good ones also but SLQ's always get bonus points from me. Sadly the overall win has to go to Picker. My family has a fought in every war or conflict from WWl to the jungles of Vietnam so anything military gets bonus points. Great battles, thanks.
Some really neat & cool objects. Some have a small story, and others have a significant historical story behind them. A fun hunt to see what was in the bag.
Fair fun Rob! Looks like those folk are worthy of support! Yep... I'd love to see the Wheat Pennies, please!!👍😀 PS - I've watched the others... I think you edge them both out! 😁😁
i found a penny with the back of a nickel clearly counter struck on the front of the penny. i dont know if its a mint error or what the value of something like that even is. what should i do?
It may be an error, but also may be post mint. You can do that my hammering a stack of coins. I would take it to a dealer or send it in for grading to know if it’s real
It amazing what can be manufactured.I have a double headed Jefferson nickle and a double headed Washington quarter that were both maufactured,I believe their for betting. You can never lose if you pick heads!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed all three. Numismatically yours is the best. Historically silverseeker, I liked all the war related coins and other things. The excitement and joy that all three of you have makes them fun to watch. As a collector I get excited on each reveal, even if it is junk it is fun junk to see or imagine getting. This dealer seems to give a worthwhile grab bag not the hoax that others ship. I bet he is being swamped with requests for bags in this time of covid as the LCS is closed and we are all suffering from numismatic withdrawal syndrome.
You are my top pick RFT! I love the Emerald, lucky penny, and US coins!! They really put together some fun grab bags!! You need to see if the new key opens some silver in your Streams!
Your video was the first I watch of the battle. Congrats on some cool times. I will have to go check out the other videos to see who got this battle in the bags :)
AFTER WATCHING--I LOOKED UP THE E-BAY---LOL I GOT A GRAB BAG A LITTLE WHILE BACK FROM THEM--NOT AS KNOWLEGIBLE AS YOU BUT FELT THAT I BRKE EVEN--I'LL TRY ANOTHER SOON
I hate to say it, but I personally liked Silverpicker's WWII themed bag. Yours was definitely second place. SilverSeeker had a lot of similar items to yours, and while I liked his 2-cent & 3-cent pieces your SLQ was nicer!
You definitely got the best grab bag out of the 3! Your grab bag is pretty simular to the one SilverSeeker got. I love the meteorite and skeleton key and I think you got better ones than silver seeker. I also really like the ancient roman coin you got, I have never seen a nickel like that shield one you got with stars and raise.
I love all your videos, you're the reason i just started my channel, I'm gonna start metal detecting videos also, and I'd love to have 1 of your channel stickers😁
I think it was #1) Rob #2) Seeker #3) Silver Picker. Yours and Seekers were pretty close to the same, but Silver Picker's seemed to be mostly WWII memorabilia. I really expected more coins from the Coin Grab Bag!
Got my first box of nickels in almost 3 months the day before yesterday. 4 from the 40s, 8 from the 50s, and 1 from Panama. Best find of the box was a 1943 P silver war nickel in roll 6! Glad to be able to hunt again!
I think the surest sign that RUclips has gotten huge is the fact that a coin collecting channel is closing in on 100k subs. Congrats on your success, man!
Silver Seeker ah crap, I knew that was gonna happen 😂. I just subscribed Silver Seeker and am looking forward to all of your new content and am going to watch all the old ones as well.
These are what we called 'Cointubers' because they make coins in a curiosity.... keep up the good video.. P.S: i thought in the first clip was named 'crab bag' but it's a 'grab bag' oh well...... i guess i am (kinda) blind..... 😂😂😂😂😅😅😅
All I can say is WOW! for Picker's incredible WWII grab bag..... being that I am a history buff I am going to have to say that his won this battle. Thank you for sharing all these great finds!
On this Ian Casimir Polish Schilling - these are crazy common metal detecting finds here in Poland. They have been called "The Bad Schilling" throughout the history. We even have a saying till today that goes "Bad luck comes back to you just like bad schillings". The story goes, these coins were minted right after a major Polish - Swedish war, known as a "Swedish Deluge". Poland was close to being bankrupt at this point, so to pay the troops, king Jan Kazimierz ordered Schillings to be minted in copper, instead of usual silver. This alone made them sub-par, but on top of that, the mint owner, named Boratini, has minted nearly twice as many coins as ordered by the King, which caused fast depreciation of this currency. There were even rebellions at the time, with troops refusing to accept payment in these Schillings, wanting solid silver instead. From the collecting point of view, most of these are close to worthless, but there are a few rare variations that are sought after.
I’ve been looking for a while now I just found my first silver dime 😜😜🤪🤪🤪🤪 thank you so much rob for the inspiration that got me started on coin roll hunting 😁❤️
If that skeleton key is brass, you can use it to stop a nosebleed, no joke, my mother used to get nosebleeds and I read that tip somewhere and hung a brass key on a string down her back close to her heart and it worked. You can also use a regular brass key.
Where do you go to old coins? I just started collecting old coins. Where do I go to purchase old coins that are rolled or grab bags mixed with quarters, dimes, pennies, nickles
FDC's mostly value at $1-3, some as high as $4-8. This depends on the condition, which stamp it is, and what someone is willing to pay for it. Check out eBay to see what they are selling for when the bid is finished.
I enjoyed watching all three videos. You had a pretty nice grab bag & I think you got decent value, but I think Silver Picker had the best grab bag though. There is no way I would not have searched that cent roll. Curiosity would have just about killed me.
Agreed lol
agreed
Yea can’t believe he didn’t open the pennies 😂

In silver pickers first video with them they didn’t know who he was and it was good I would go check it out.
This was very fun to watch. I like this grab bag thing. Maybe this can become a series. That would be cool.
Let's see what there is in here. Awesome video no matter what there is.
Rob, you get the win for the coins, Seeker & Picker both had some good ones also but SLQ's always get bonus points from me. Sadly the overall win has to go to Picker. Great video! I found two keys in my fathers stamp and coin collection. Very cool surprise like yours! Heading to seeker and picker channels now!
Fun fun fun looking. Might have to get me a grab bag. Thanks Rob.

On the wheat cent roll, sellers often put 1909 to 1958 on the ad. That doesn't mean that the coins inside will date from 1909 and 1958. That is just the years of production for the wheat cent. It's likely you won't have any coins in the teens or twenties. Most will be 40s and 50s.
Your title intro states that you do metal detecting but all I see are coin roll videos. Do you have detecting videos on a different channel?
I have a few playlists - but only a handful of videos between them.

EXCELLENT VIDEO AND THE GRAB BAGS HELPED FINISH THINGS OFF
