Right there with you on the Warden bro. Its 10% faster than the rest of the Vanguards, and that can make all the difference. It also has a much better twitch profile than the Harbinger, and once I flew them back to back, I never flew the Harbi Again. The warden actually feels like a fighter, while the Harb handles much more like a 'Lancer. Favorite loadout right now is MVSA's plus AD5B. I highly suggest you try it. Its so nasty. Shreds just about anything, and even if you go bingo on gatling ammo, you've still got 999 DPS on the MVSA's. 700m/s ammo speed, yes but the killing power of that AD5B is worth it. The best thing about the Warden is that its best days are ahead of it. In systems like pyro having your own bed bath and kitchen, and long range fuel and q-tanks are going to make this leaps and bounds better than it already is.
The Warden is just my all time favourite. I had it CCU'd to a Harbinger for over a year but in the end I prefer the more agile Warden. It's my everyday workhorse.

I felt the same way about the corsair, very home-ish. The Vanguard is fun, and the sleeper bunk out, and internal cavity for box stuff is nice over the Inferno (would it kill them to put a recliner seat for sleeping?!). Only thing its missing is a refilling fridge like the Redeemer. "hard death because you're an Aero" :P
As.a fellow Vandy-Dandy, I have been doing well with a Warden loaded with stock mvsa's and a behring m7a. It detonates Hornets and Sabres with just a few hits, just have to force the fight in to a jousting match by shooting face in the merge, then hitting top speed, uncoupling to face them and light them up as they approach. Maybe send a missile or two to keep them defensive.
Love this ship, initially bought it to match my sabre but then i never flew the sabre again. Its my go to combat ship as it flys really well in atmo compared to others its size. If im not in this im in the emerald phoenix to just get some use out of her. Great video homie, good cameras, good commentary, and you can genuinely hear the love for the game (with all her faults haha)

Yo nut. My favorite heavy fighter is the habenger! I love the torps and I slam an ad5b every time on the nose and laser repeaters on the nose with the ad5b! My set up shreds everything it comes across!
Still wondering how they will implement the swapable modules. I know they went back on the battle pack stuff, changing it to be a gear packs. But those packs still contain the center module (torp, emp, warden pod) will those change wihle being true to its hull. Harbiger base with sentinel pack. Or will it just turn to the sentinel.
I have love-hate relationship with Vanguard. I apreciate verstatility, but I hate that I cant go full-gimbal on a heavy fighter. I'm still waiting for a ship from other manufacturer to replace it (Crusarder ftw).
You're in your element. You just seem to do the best in this ship and the Sabre! You really should work on the Service Beacons a bit. I saw a Critical come up yesterday for $336k! I don't think I've ever seen or heard of a mission that paid that much. Long prison sentence is easy. Just get caught before you go to bed, get up in prison, then log out. Your sentence will be done in the morning.
I know this doesn't fully cover your taste for a black paint but. You could always ho for the Sentinel and buy a Timberline paint for it. I know the paint is not blsck but def better than the stock blue. SometiensyI wish CIG eould give the Warden some love and gove it more paint options

The turret point has always been strange to me - all vanguard variants should have s3 turret guns. The s2 just feel pointless. Why so many people just fly the ship solo, the turret doesn't add much, friend is just a tag along.

Warden is the fastest and barely less nimble than the sent. And it comes in black. Love the sent with the emp but it's ugly. the Harb is way too heavy and I don't need the torps
Some feedback: please turn up your voice for the videos. the intro is so loud, after that its hard to hear anything compared to other videos on yt. if i watch a video of yours, and after that i switch to another, i really need to remember to turn the volume down... or my ears blow out :D please try to mix it to the "standard". That would really make the videos more enjoyable for me. As fr the Video, i dont know why, but i just cant seem to get it about the Vanguards... they are great ships... but somehow it feels like you just burst and have to wait for the guns over and over again.
When I got my Warden it had a reputation of being a "Bad Ass" ship that all should avoid, but then it was nerfed and you rarely hear of it when there's talk of similar ships (2 crew fighters). ;-) "No Respect, No Respect at all."
The most expensive vanguard in game but the second cheapest for real money. But esthetics are everything. Gotta look good while kicking ass too, especially if I don't need the emp or torps
Whats with each of these variants. I keep hearing people fight over each one. Give me the TLDR on which is best and why? I had a warden and ditched it for the Inferno and now I regret it since the Inferno/Ion SUCKS now so Im going to melt down and trade back in.
There isn't a best or worst vanguard they are all good. The hoplite is the least used because it only has jump seats. Other than that they are all good in their own way. Comes down to personal preference
i use ion to solo crit threats it can man handle an idris in under 20m, for pvp you just have to get up close and personal, inferno is just as deadly but itll run out of ammo if you try to solo crits, its great once shields are down on idris however when paired with an ion
@@pastafazool5951 I got rid of my inferno. Ever since the Great nerf I have despised using it. I've got a retaliator for the Idris. And I'll use the Harbinger for everything else now. Just can't stand what they did to the ion/inferno.
Love the warden and will really come into its own once pyro comes out and there’s not places for fighters to easily refuel

I love the vanguard, harbinger is what I use. Part of it is because I hate the warden interior lol
The Warden is the king of Heavy Fighters, and by definition the king of Fighters unless you're speedboiiiing. Then it's the Arrow.

This and the 600i explorer are where I live. Also why not put the bespoke distortions on? That could help you win that fight.

The ship that DESPERATELY NEEDS MORE PAINT LOVE is the sweet sweet Sabre....so sad it only had 2 paints and all these other ships getting tons.
You gotta give the Harbinger a try. It’s slightly slower, but has more HP, 3x size 5 torps, and the turret has size 3 weapons instead of size 2
It's too noticeably slower to me. Yeah torps are nice but I don't need them. I have about 50+ hours of flight time in every vanguard

i use the sentinel, have the harb as a loaner for jav but sentinel is my LF killer
my redeemer is my hommie ship it has 2 s3 shields and 2xs4 and 2xs3 if i get gunners its even more deadly
