I think the Quake 2 soundtrack was highly influential in pushing Mick Gordon towards a heavy and fast industrial soundtrack for Doom 2016 more so than Doom 1993s heavy metal inspired midi tracks by Bobby Prince.
As a fellow aspiring artist, I beg you, please tell me how you get such an amazing metal sound. I would appreciate it greatly because this sounds amazing, the mixing, (Chef's Kiss).
