Hell yeah. The Quake theme wasn't my first experience of Nine Inch Nails, having heard them on the radio and seen them on MTV in the 94-96, however this was the song that connected me to them and hooked me in as a life long fan. I had already been a fan of stuff like the Descent soundtrack and Mechwarrior 2s ost, which were very clean industrial, but compared the them this was new, gritty, and a dark fervor that was unlike anything I had heard prior.
Damn, I didn't realize how new to the scene you are when you released your Dark Ages cover. And you're already putting out a lot of sick covers. I cannot wait to see what else you've got in store.
Great job I also liked your Serious Sam track, I don’t know if you take recommendations but the track from Hive Jump killer queen could use some doom in my opinion. Keep it up!
1st, this is a great cover. 2nd, hearing this makes me wish quake had combat tracks that sounded like this, the creepy ambient music Trent Reznor made for the game doesn’t do it for me
Quake's combat system has very slow time to kill, so the game feels more like fast movement horror. id Software tried so hard to optimize this game back in the day. Less enemies, small levels, that kind of things

I don't know if you ever played it, but there was an old DOS game with some bangers. jazz jackrabbit specifically one of the boss fights, i think it's called guardian. it's dying for a metal cover for an old sonic the hedgehog rip off, it had some good music to it
Depends on the track. Some may take a little time, literally if you have a clear idea of what the final result should sound like. Some take longer when there is a need to experiment and make a few versions. So yeah, it varies.
