if ID would ever want to make Quake a story-mode franchise again (which is unlikely, since Wolfenstein is story oriented franchise at the moment) i would have wanted next Quake chapter to be something that creates link between all previous Quake parts, something that unites continuation of Ranger's story and "Strogg vs. Humankind" story.
@@rikybj0276 well, on the top left there is an icon with book (or piece of paper, I dont remember) and when you click on it, you will see sections of champions, gods and I guess QC lore. If you want to find a Ranger lore, just click on champions sections and choose a character which you want. Not all scrolls are availbe. If you want to collect all scrolls for each champion, you will need to spent lots of gems on.... upgrading (~80 I think)? Except scrolls, you can collect paints, armors.... only cosmetics + lore artifact for each champion (its the same as scroll but with model to see for example: Daisy's foot).

People should start badgering Bethesda about giving the original Quake game the DOOM treatment. Sure, Quake Champions is a reboot of Quake III Arena, but I'm sure people would LOVE to see Quake or Quake II get the DOOM treatment.
I agree 1000% and would easily pay $60 for the PC version of a Quake reboot as well as another $60 for a Switch port. Replace glory kills with some sort of head shot mechanic, force the player to become more accurate through the campaign and make the game even faster paced. God, I want it. We want Ranger, we want a dark Lovecraftian world full of muddy colors and strange elder gods and nerve-nibbling atmosphere, and we want a single-player campaign that isn't a COD ripoff. JUST. Personally, this is my favorite of the character themes. There's something about the Quake 1 soundtrack that makes it interesting to listen to. Also love Zlive's channel music and the QC:DE soundtrack. I'm excited to see what Quake/Doom mix will come up with Doom Slayer.

You took something already legendary, put it on a table, deconstructed it to its bare components, brought more to the table and assembled something otherworldly that stays true to its original form yet adds layers and texture that made this a total ear gasm to listen to. Like an artist retouching a masterpiece and doing an artful work of love. 10/10. Never thought I'd hear a remake of this caliber. Would love to hear it in an official ID project if they ever brought Quake back to its lovecraftian roots.

Damn this is really good. Iv been on a id software binge lately, and i would love a new dark fantasy fps/rpg with swords and sorcery so much. Quake is a really wierd but 90's product in terms of setting. Its got that "hooah, guns! Awesome to the max!" and then the obvious Sandy Petersen influence of wanting lovecraftian mystery and grimnes. A shame that they ditched fantasy ideas but i guess it's a taste and markets matter.
