Lykoref And as radical was his conception of justice, is it not the true justice ? Batman is the basic avenger who saves the widow and the orphan but has not the guts to correct the failures of the civilization like Bane. Bane is the divine justice that falls on occidental decadence.
It wasn't, that was a part of his League of Shadows/Batman revenge shit. His idea however, and his stance on the way things were was almost spot on. The Joker thought the same way, but his methods were much cleaner.
Lykoref Did you watch all of the movie? That was just propaganda to carry out his plans, he was planning to blow up the entire city, killing everyone. I guess it was pretty effective.
+The Vegan Ape Yeah i think that "For you" line is misunderstood. I didnt get it until just recently. The guy's line in between makes it confusing, they should have just written as Bane saying "It would be very painful (pause) ...for you".
+thesir27 Yeah. Because He doesn't need the mask for survival, at least in the comics. So the mask may be keeping the venom at bay, until a time where he removes it to let the venom set in and unleash his full strength.
The mask (in the movie) gives off something like painkillers. He got beat up pretty bad. Whatever the prisoners and the doctor did to him messed him up for life. He needs the mask (and painkillers) to survive. So taking off the mask will be "extremely painful." Little Finger says that he's a big guy meaning that he could take whatever pain. He says "For you" comparing himself to Little Finger.

Because over time I just realized there's no bad or good. The only thing that holds us back from exploring new perspective and personalities is our thinking to remain confined within limits already provided, we push the limits but we don't break them. By breaking I mean giving up working towards it. Villains Don't accept human beliefs to some extent, they sacrifice everyone for themselves, which is wrong by our perspective but is also right from their perspective because they have reasons which show a concrete reason why they hate it. And I am not talking about casual coward villains, I am talking about extraordinary genuine people which are viewed as bad. Your body and mind defines what you will accomplish, to change destiny you have change your mind and body. I may have made assumptions in previous post, but I m ready to improve it and move on. I don't mind any opposite opinion comments, well more you face it better you become. At the end what matters to me is if I just existed to live great or something different.

Eddie: And that gives you power over me?

Symbiote: Yes, because I could change where I hide.
The irony being that venom is the name of the drug that Bane is addicted to in the comics.
@White Ice Tv Super steroid.
Well, that actually does.
Hardy as Bane saying “Of course” sounded exactly like Cristiano Ronaldo.
Tom Hardy is only 5ft 9inch tall (1.76m) and still managed to portray such a physically imposing character
"It would be extremely painful,"
"You're a big guy,"
"For you."
yeah, that was funny. and the next scene shows a bigger plane flying over the smaller plane in which they reside haha. poor lord baelish

Yes my cutie beauty

Who else wanted bane and the joker to win?
No? They might have valid points but they are clearly two different representations of evil.
Bane representing a false prophet type figure and the French Revolution
While Joker was a nihilistic embodiment of chaos
No are you out of your mind the ending of The Dark Knight rises is the best ending ever , " Hero can be anyone and batman could be anyone the idea was the symbol " .
Bane sure did have the best lines
Patrick Otshumbe for you

The Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy created some of the best villain adaptations
When you think darkness is your ally but you only adopted the dark
Sape
Merely adopted*
I was born in it, I hadn't see the light until I was a grown man and then I found it BLINDING
Bane: "The shadows betray you, because they belong to me!" Batman: "Fucking shadows!"
Darkness is powerful than light. This is the 1 real thing...
"Oh, you think darkness is your ally. But you merely adopted the dark; I was born in it, molded by it. I didn't see the light until I was already a man, by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING!"
see i dont understand this ......so bane is more sinister because he ....is blinded by light?
Blinded by the light! Revved up like a deuce another runner in the night! Blinded by the light!
"The shadows betray you because they belong to me!"
DUDE he's just better in the dark dats why batman ain't got no chance against him in the dark
nothing to me but blight*
Marvel couldn't make a dark knight if they wanted to, that's what's really sad, imagine Alfred telling Bruce about Rachel's letter and Bruce making a fart joke, that's marvel

they have Blade’s reboot incoming.
the old trilogy was though, I loved the darkness in ‘Blade II’.
@@killILL17 The most darkest Marvel shows you possibly could find are Logan and Punisher. Also if Moon Knight is likely gonna be PG cause Kevin Fiege said 'comedy' is their main element.

It was part of the artists plan

Ich bin wasser, wasser! Ich bin wasser, wasser!
"Do you feel... in Charge?" - that line with Tom Hardy's raspy deep voice, and hans zimmers music together, gave me my first ever chills and goosebumps in a movie. I love TDKR
The way he just casually rests the back of his hand on his shoulder while he says it too... I agree, great trilogy.
As fucked up as Bane was, he was right about Gotham's corruption.
Lykoref And as radical was his conception of justice, is it not the true justice ?
Batman is the basic avenger who saves the widow and the orphan but has not the guts to correct the failures of the civilization like Bane.
Bane is the divine justice that falls on occidental decadence.
He is the justice that the legal system did not bring. The justice system caters to only the rich and corrupt. Bain sought to end that.
Lykoref Maybe, but the solution wasn't a Reign of Terror-like rampage.
It wasn't, that was a part of his League of Shadows/Batman revenge shit. His idea however, and his stance on the way things were was almost spot on. The Joker thought the same way, but his methods were much cleaner.
Lykoref
Did you watch all of the movie? That was just propaganda to carry out his plans, he was planning to blow up the entire city, killing everyone. I guess it was pretty effective.
This song had aged like wine, it only became better.
So nostalgic
" *I was wondering what would break first, your spirit, or your body* "
You're a big guy.
For you.
what did he mean with "for you"
The guy asked what would happen if Banes mask was removed, to which Bane said 'it would be extremely painful', to which he later adds 'for you'.
He says "For you" comparing himself to Little Finger.
if you look closely you can see the bat symbol on his face
fuck yeah
LordKellthe1st yeah
its weird how many people did not notice it
I see it now
I suppose banes mask could look like a tarantula devouring a bat...but...maybe its the weed.

Bane was such a great villain, and his theme it's god tier.
I remember he was kinda scary for me as a little kid.
Just the thought of a big strong man that was evil but also very smart, like nothing can hurt him physically and mentally, was a terrifying aspect.
