ehhh the movie was okay, but again bane in the comics will always need more than 1 movie to do him justice since he is such a complicated character. He combats crippling drug issues (the venom), is a master tactician (which wasn't really showcased much in the movie), had completely different goals that were more batman centric, and finally he wasn't pictured as a perfectionist. All of what I mention is what was kind of left out of the movie, and all of which make him more complex. This bane is good, intimidating, fun to watch, but its also somewhat generic.

"Do you feel... in Charge?" - that line with Tom Hardy's raspy deep voice, and hans zimmers music together, gave me my first ever chills and goosebumps in a movie. I love TDKR
I know I'm in the minority but I prefer Bane to the Joker, at least in TDK trilogy. Heath Ledger did an amazing job as the Joker, he was so crazy, so entertaining and he did so much to bring Batman down to his level, and it actually worked. That being said...Bane's presence when he's on screen is so intimidating and evil that it goes beyond any villain I've ever seen from any movie...ever. And I think this score has to do with it as well. This song just screams "I'm the alpha, I'm in charge, I am the top villain". Add in an awesome, evil, authoritative voice and you have yourself a villain that just...can't be beat by a clown. I'm sorry. Bane is the top dog of TDK trilogy. The Joker will cause chaos, manipulate, and make a mess of the entire city, but Bane...Bane runs the show.
Dude, this is like comparing Iron Man with the Hulk. They are two completly different characters. Joker = Chaos Bane = Pain. Both badass. Both unpredictable.
🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂.... And it probably did happen. We had the Cinema Shooter Joker dude, Bison Bane. And THIS is why we laugh, and then cry, at the dichotomy that is the USA. The Best and the Worst. Physics and Entropy tell us it can only end a couple of ways. But like Wesley Snipes, I Always bet on Black ;)
+Martin Karadzhov Begins is the best in my opinion simply because it's where everything starts, a man who is scared about bats and his past, and after 7 years of training far from his home he changes his mind and his body, he was worried about his fear...and then he becomes fear!
Ooh you think the darkness is your ally? You merely adopted the dark. i was born in it, moulded by it. I didn't see the light until i was already a man. By then it was nothing to me but BLINDING!
Actually Nolan had said the purpose of Joker living in TDK was to have Two-Face be the main villain in the third film and have Ledger reprise his role and be a secondary villain, but then he passed. That ending of Harvey/Two-Face dying was a re-shoot.
I don't think they would have been allies. Bane, despite his destructiveness, wanted some sort of order. The Joker, in his purest form, was the antithesis of any form of order.
@@tobyyeager2348 omg what if they wanted to have Batman and Joker work together to take down Bane and Two-Face? Then at the end, Joker does Joker and tries take down Batman in the chaos, but of course, B-man is the B-man and takes him down as well without breaking stride.
@@marcusmcgill4423 but why couldn'tt they go through with it? Joker did his work, Harvey became Two-Face and Joker wasn't needed anymore. I think it would have been great to see Two-Face as the main antagonist in the final film but I did love Bane so its alright I guess.

Re-listening to this gives me goosebumps, watched the trilogy when I was a child and it still stuck with me until to this day. Definitely one of the top trilogies of all time up their with lord of the rings.
Bane is this movie has better quotes then most movie franchieses its amazing. Such a while written and acted character. And the sound of his mask makes him sound so bada$$
Bane is so damn smart, took control over the city, wore a mask, cancelled sports, and quarantined the city. Didn't let anyone in or out, and all of this because a bat left the League of Shadows
"Step forward, those who would serve! For an army will be raised.-- The powerful will be ripped from their decadent nests, and cast out into the cold world that we know-- and endure. Courts will be convened.-- Spoils will be enjoyed!-- Blood will be shed!-- The police will survive, as they learn to serve true justice.-- This great city... it will endure. Gotham will survive!" ~ The Demon of Peña Duro, Bane
Nolan and Hardy’s combined rendition of Bane is so incredibly unique and terrifying - not just in comic book films but cinema history. Bane sees himself as the Devil “...speak of the Devil, and he shall arrive...” but in a necessary way “...I’m necessary evil...” Meaning that his role is entirely existential to his own benefits, and instead he serves ‘a greater purpose,’ and in a way, you could see him as a redeemer, ‘liberating’ the people of Gotham from the invisible shackles left by Dent’s legacy and the Joker’s chaotic explosiveness Nolan seriously took three of the most well-renowned Batman villains (Scarecrow, Joker and Bane) and ripped them as far away from the comic book backstories as possible - and it worked Let’s not forget that this rendition of Bane was unknown prior to The Dark Knight Rises, and yet he’s now arguably the most recognisable Top work to Nolan, Hardy and Zimmer for inventing, encompassing and evolving the character we all love and despise
Tom Hardy made 'Bane' such an iconic Villain that it's pretty challenging for anyone and nearly impossible to anyone whom might try to do a better version of it in the upcoming movies! Him and Christian Bale! Just Epic! 🙌🏻
Unpopular opinion - Bane was the best villain in the Dark Knight Trilogy. Ledger's Joker was great dgmw, but literally everything Bane did and said was just raw as fuck, and Tom Hardy had such a menacing aura throughout.

Bane is better than Joker
Me too
Nick P YES FINALLY! MY PEOPLE!

Dude, this is like comparing Iron Man with the Hulk. They are two completly different characters.

Bane and Joker would be a great team in The Dark Knight Rises if Ledger was alive... So sad.
Bane = physical power
Joker = psychological power
" *The shadows betray you because THEY BELONG TO ME* " - Bane
Love that line
If only Heath Ledger was alive to play a part in this movie. Could you imagine the devastation Bane and the Joker could do combined?!!!??! Jesus.
The two don’t fit haha they conflict in many many ways
@@tobyyeager2348 omg what if they wanted to have Batman and Joker work together to take down Bane and Two-Face? Then at the end, Joker does Joker and tries take down Batman in the chaos, but of course, B-man is the B-man and takes him down as well without breaking stride.
@@marcusmcgill4423 but why couldn'tt they go through with it? Joker did his work, Harvey became Two-Face and Joker wasn't needed anymore. I think it would have been great to see Two-Face as the main antagonist in the final film but I did love Bane so its alright I guess.

@@Boiiiiwhatttt the prison that Bane comes from in the comics in South America
Nolan and Hardy’s combined rendition of Bane is so incredibly unique and terrifying - not just in comic book films but cinema history. Bane sees himself as the Devil “...speak of the Devil, and he shall arrive...” but in a necessary way “...I’m necessary evil...”
Meaning that his role is entirely existential to his own benefits, and instead he serves ‘a greater purpose,’ and in a way, you could see him as a redeemer, ‘liberating’ the people of Gotham from the invisible shackles left by Dent’s legacy and the Joker’s chaotic explosiveness
Nolan seriously took three of the most well-renowned Batman villains (Scarecrow, Joker and Bane) and ripped them as far away from the comic book backstories as possible - and it worked
Let’s not forget that this rendition of Bane was unknown prior to The Dark Knight Rises, and yet he’s now arguably the most recognisable
Top work to Nolan, Hardy and Zimmer for inventing, encompassing and evolving the character we all love and despise
8:19 best fight scene music ever...
