      @masterneloth  Год назад +53

      You could argue that Banning feeds Forsworn or other criminals to his dogs so that’s why he isn’t specifically on this list unlike Eola and Hogni. Lisbette is pretty bad tho.

    • @ryanhau1073
      @ryanhau1073 Год назад +38

      With Hogni, if you ask him where he gets his meat, he will answer from the Orc Stronghold in the Reach, without context you would think he's saying he buys his supply from Orc Hunters, but knowing he's in a Cannibal Cult he's probably selling Orc Meat. Also seeing how insular the Orc Strongholds are, if someone from there went missing, word of it would rarely get back to Markarth. Tho it raises some more questions seeing that Hogni doesn't look like someone with much physical prowess and it's hard to imagine him taking down an Orc, like does Hogni secretly have Super Assassin Skills, or more likely he's getting assistance from other members of the Cannibal Cult, or maybe he buys is supply not from Orc Hunters but Hunters Of Orcs.

    A strange detail about Hogni that I picked up on when I was six, but haven't ever seen anyone else point out since, is that in Skyrim raw beef and human flesh share _the exact same model._ Which, to me, this sharing of item models always implied that the "beef" Hogni sells at his stall may not be beef at all.

      Solitude's court is honestly a giant fucking mess and Ulfric should have shouted most of them to pieces, from the vampire court wizard to the incompetent steward more busy getting his d wet with a thane than paying attention to citizens' worries.
      Just claim martial law and put Tullius in actual charge, at this point the Empire is more competent and less malignant, which is saying something given I haven't liked the empire since they lost any shred of respect I had left by Oblivion (when I found what they allowed into their nobility and various orders, incompetence upon incompetence, and only some of it is Jagar Tharn's aftermath).

      In... some fairness to her, it's not confirmed whether she killed him. I think she says he died in a Forsworn attack. Now she *could* be lying her ass off, but maybe he really *did* die, she recovered his corpse to mourn him, and in some fucked-up Namira-inspired coping mechanism, ended up eating him. She still deserves to die like the rest of the cannibal party, as in the present day they're all willingly feasting on a murdered innocent, but I don't think I'd put her above the guy who's *literally selling human flesh to passerby.* There's a good chance Hogni is the reason why there are so many cannibals in Markarth. So about Hogni something really interesting just happened on my current playthrough. So i went to Markarth and found Hogni dead by his food stand. I searched his body and their was note from the dawnguard saying that he was suspected of being a creature of the night. ( we all know why ). I’ve never seen that before and never seen anyone talk about it before neither. Must be a rare event

    Thank you, you have enriched my Roleplay lmao. I Killed Degaine right after he asked me to steal a statue of Dibella. I thought he is so trash. And will be Killing Hert as well, I saw that shack of her. The Solitude Thane will also suffer the Wrath of Sithis, and the Markarth meat vendor.

    I mean, Vampires NEED to consume the blood of Mortals, otherwise they will go feral. Not the same as Namira's Coven, who CHOOSE to be evil

    One of my favorite things about every Skyrim playthrough is when I finish the dainty Sload and diplomatic immunity quests so Erikur isn’t essential anymore, then I kill Sybille so that Melaran becomes court wizard and I don’t have to worry about him seeing me sneak into the house, then I kill Erikur while he’s sleeping (with his sister 🤢) then steal everything valuable in the house and on his corpse so it looks like a burglary gone wrong. I’ve put a lot of thought into this.

    I got a crazy bug once where Eola wouldn't die. I would get her down to 1 health (or so), then she would recover and be friendly again, I'd almost kill her again, then she'd recover and be nice. That was a very frustrating bug because she disgusts the hell out of me.

      Surely i munch on a priest but when totally neccessary dialoques are over they all end up killed by Ebkny Blade three times cuz ritual stone,Eola gets sacrificed to Boethia without knowing what happened to rest on top of that.

    Erikur is also a war profiteer, you find this out (or at least, its implied that he's a war profiteer by his dialogue) at the thalmor embassy party, if you talk to him. Not a great guy to begin with, but the fact that he profits off the misery and suffering of others is awful, thats just like our corporate masters and politicians in real life

    As per usual, wanting to kill an NPC is just player bait. That's how the developers predict your actions. And predictability is death on the battlefield.
    Anyway, going down the list--
    1) Now as much as Sibbi is one of those shameless d-bags who thinks he can do what he wants, but what's really the point trying to play judge with a lowlife like that? I believe in the long run; he'll get his comeuppance in the near future. Getting disowned from the family fortune? It's worse than death for him.
    2) If you think Njada's the type to kill, you're giving into your violent impulses too easily, friend. And yes, it is downright petty. Think of her "tough-gal words" as nothing but casual banter. After all, she's only full of hot air. That kind of thing is easy to brush off. If you can take a sword blow, you can take words. Able to take both; NOW you're a Companion.
    3) Let me guess... "she's a Vampire and MUST DIE", right? The first half is true, but at least Hert is being subtle about it. And besides, how can you tell if those human remains aren't actually from a random bandit? Maybe that guy deserved to get feasted because he messed with the wrong couple? Ever think of that? No, nobody EVER thinks of that.
    4) I know, Eola tries the power of suggestion to sort of "hypnotize" you into doing this stuff. But thing is, this cannibal cult is in a bit of a grey area. You see, it's not like they kidnap people every day and cannibalize them, no they only do this on occasion. And they only bring in subjects that're either worthy of sacrifice, or just plain had it coming to them. Guess which one was that Priest of Arkay?
    5) What I usually say about Degaine: "Only thing worse than a beggar, is a *greedy* beggar." An annoyance, true, but not worth the effort.
    6) Yes, another member of the cannibal cult. But, once again, not worth it, no matter what your imagination tells you.
    7) Ugh, this guy... now honestly, he REALLY does need to die, I'll agree with this one. HOWEVER, and this is a BIG however, he is an important client to the Thieves Guild. If not for him, the Guild wouldn't get their influence back in the city. So sadly, he's a necessary evil.

    I always do the Namira quest first just to get the stupid ring...which I never wear cause it gives me bad breath. And the Priest is a greedy twit; not evil just greedy...I kill people in Skyrim for less. But Eola has a positive use...after you get the ring, put it away and then take a walk to Boethia's shrine. If ever anyone was hand made to be a sacrifice to a Daedric Prince, Eola fits the bill. Plus I hate her bad eye.
