If you’re really serious book one with a local approved driving school. Like I said though, I was caught out on a few things so be aware that you might not get the result you want.
Most people would probably fail if they take a mock test after passing the drivers exam. You can pass if you want to , but people usually let lose after passing their driving test.
my friends dad is a driving instructor and i did a mock taste with him 10months after getting my drivers license. He asked me to drive like I normally would on a daily commute. And I failed with flying colours.😂
After 46 years driving I decided to take an extended driving test to see if I could pass. Unfortunately I also got 3 serious faults (1 of which was not noticing a green filter light in front of me at a junction). I feel though that I would have got a lot more serious faults had I have not watched these and other mock driving tests, which shows they are useful for all drivers to watch.
Well done Nyle, as a new driver you're still learning and you need to gain that confidence being in the car by yourself. Keep going you're a good driver.
I'm so happy to say I passed yesterday with 7 minors. I'm okay with that instead of having 1 serious 😂 thank you for all the videos you share. I know they take a lot of time and effort, also investing in right equipment to help viewers be educated. I will not be stopping watching your videos as I want to be a good driver and not cause harm to others and my family/friends😊

I have my licence since 5th january , but I will definetly fail a mock test , I mean I am confident and all that but still have lot of practice to do , still making mistakes , maybe not dangerous or serious ,but continious practice is the best , every day is a challenge and I love it , I enjoy driving. Don’t think it’s good for him to rest his foot on the Clutch, Should Keep His foot On the dead pedal When not changing gear.
There's plenty of dead zone on clutches these days, so unless you have an elephant foot, you should be OK.
@@at0micsheep fair enough i’ve only driven old manuals tbh Bite point is high so can’t really rest ur foot on the clutch in them.

I got taught by my instructor to leave my foot on now when I’m driving I stall if I take it off completely 🥲
Wears the clutch out more and makes the clutch get hot by leaving foot on it.

Maybe a few months or a year down the line, I’d be really keen on having a mock test with you to see if I would pass a test again if I had to.

As an American I always find these videos wildly interesting.

I also noticed the same , it was more like a habit of quickly checking all arlund. Wonder if any object was approaching , he could have reacted or not .
All your observations / mirror checks while driving should be made with brief glances; you would still be able to pick up on changes in your surroundings. Whether or not he'd have reacted appropriately is a different question.
A proper lush lady, proper cheeky laugh and a dame good instructor.
Please also make some videos on how you teach roundabouts, maneuvers, turning left right junctions etc

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't pass a test if I just did it today. Been driving for 15 years, never has an accident.
The issue isn't to drive to meet an arbitrary standard. The issue is to drive safely so you and others are safe enough.
These people need to keep in mind being in the UK it's probably the highest in Europe to get on the road with insurance, Road tax and MOT so drive carefully because if you don't costs will increase

Could you explain why using the lines of the parking bay in front of you to park is a serious? I thought serious was when you affect other people dangerously?
not finishing within the lines is serious its not the use of the bay in front itself that is serious

If you can't park within the bay you have chosen, fail for accuracy & car control..

I passed my test in 2006 and still to this day you do not learn how to drive during the course you only learn how to drive after you pass hence why the biggest killers on the road are new drivers

I was little nervous but had confidence to pass my driving test in Chandigarh(India). I was lucky to get two attempts on same day but I failed in very first reverse park hurdle. My learner's license was expired so I had to renew it and after I got appointment for the track test again after few months, I literally was less nervous, almost zero on confidence, but I had made a mind that I will go through the whole track, never care for my mistakes, I knew that I made a mistake on track but after few hours I came to know that I had passed the driving test.
A bit of a random one, but does anyone know how long people had to wait to book a test before COVID?
Could get a test in 2-3 weeks. If u failed u still had to wait the 7 or 10 days forgot how long it was before booking a new one

I booked mine like 10-11 days before I did it, was no stress about getting slots like now! (did mine in 2017)

Does anyone know, are you still not allowed to use the car system in the front that helps with parking and reversing ? i remember doing the test in my car that had those features and i was told i had to disable them and not use both the proximity alarm and the reverse camera
My instructors car has the camera for reverse parking and it’s allowed. Took my test in it last week (and passed), largely due to using it for the reverse bay parking😂

i guess i can see the point of "it makes you more experienced" but does it really matter when every other car nowadays either has a camera or a beeping indicator to tell how far you are to an object while reversing

Here's a helpful tip from a Londoner. If you see a bright red bus or a bus stop with a TFL logo, you know it's London.

Don’t matter the the whole roads are empty from the video with barely any hazards left, right centre. You got buses everywhere, if it’s London then buses would be everywhere in your rear view

You will if you finish over the line. Had he realised and fixed it safely, it would have been a driving (minor) fault at most.

This is what my instructor teaches me. If you drive forward into parking bay. Line your wrist up with the line on the side you're going in. 2 bays behind the 1 you're going into. Reverse its your elbow. X

Has your instructor not told you and you have the test in two weeks 😬 You have to be within the lines and straight but you might have a bigger gap on one side than the other and that's okay. I have failed twice because of parking, best advice is to take each part of the maneuver one step at a time give yourself time, breathe and observe. Don't over correct that's how I failed. The park up on the right and parallel make sure you stop when you see any vehicle and pedestrian on your side, again that's how I failed. I got just 4 minors on one and zero minors on the other so it's very frustrating! Get plenty sleep the night before. Good luck! I have my next attempt on Wednesday
