- This is one of my favorite Paul McCartney songs off the White Album. I tuned down a half-step to Eb to make it easier to sing. This song always reminds me to stay connected to nature as it's the source of life.

@@michaelmcginley7930 - I imagine it’s not easy to exactly match video and audio when editing. I think that’s why sometimes you see people clap their hands before doing a performance like this - makes it easier to match up. I honestly can’t see it being out though - especially if you watch the fingerpicking which seems pretty bang on to me.
Only a master musician could have composed a song like this.

I guess I don’t think about it too much. I try and stay relaxed and place the notes in my face, almost like I’m speaking in pitch.

I watched a live performance of John Denver performing this song solo while flat picking a 12 string at Mount Cranmore Ski Area in the late 80's. He was really on his game that night and it was flawless. Your version is really good and you did the song justice. Kudos George!
